I agree with none of this. NTEC is the only one on your list I'd be even willing to discuss, mainly since it's so vastly overused over other alternatives due to it's immense flexibility to be jack of all trades.

It has been opened. And while I like some nudity (who doesn't), I don't need it to be a thing in APB. Cartoonish symbols? Maybe. Making your female character look topless using symbols? It just looks wrong and stupid in a gunfight.

That's propably because APB originally came from EU, however both do apply to the game depending on your locaton. There are other rating systems too, but ESRB and PEGI are the most widely known ones.

They are going to have a field day with battleye when it gets patched in and previously banned accounts released. Call it a stress test if you want.

I think a compromise somewhere in-between could be found? There are a lot of things I would like to pick from both. The darker areas (back alleys, tunnels, interiors) were almost as bright at nights in RTW as open areas are now. I want the dark alleys and shady backstreets and bright days and higher quality sky.

If SPCMs were to be re-introduced, I'd make them use different account from their main for it. A pre-set account with pre-set characters, owned by the company, all dressed similarly and with similar disticntive names and only to be used for helping and mentoring. Possibly even putting them under NDA if deemed necessary. This way it would be more easy to monitor that they are actually doing what they are supposed to do and not part of the program just for ego boost.

I've heard from cases where people have been temporarily banned from Twitch for spending prolonged perioids of time in the strip club looking at the ladies. Some content on games is always going to be borderline, and it's often as much about how the rules are interpreted as it is about the rules. If you have clear rules, they are easier to interprent and thus enforce. It could be as simple as LO wanting to make it easier to interpret what is allowed and what not, it's not like the symbols are critical to gameplay in a way that there either must be nudity or they're useless. In my opinion, nudity isn't required element in APB. I prefer to leave some room for imagination...

You don't need a special tag to answer questions and help people. Some of the programs were like a two-edged sword. While the intention was good, in some cases only things served were the egos of those involved.

To expand on the thought on my previous post, Twitch for example doesn't allow streaming of games rated AO (adult only). So while this game is 18+ here in europe, which is kinda the "top kek tier" because we are seen as adults at this point and are able to buy beer n stuff around that age (minor differences between the exact age and legislation between countries), there are no further tiers for rating games. In US of A this is rated M, which is something like 17+ if I've understood it correctly, which is still one tier down from your "adult only" content. You don't want to risk a game to get pushed to AO only due to people being able to create AO content aka. "gentleman's special interest literature", because it'll pretty much ruin a lot of potential for events and e-sports and what not that could be created around that game. Tiddies with some cloth thrown on them is sexual content (M). Naked ones are ****ographic (AO). It's that simple. Now making this ruling (which has pretty much always existed and was just worded badly and interprented in various ways) enforced after such a long perioid of total anarcy is going to make some feel like something is being taken away. And indeed something is being taken away, though it is things that shoudn't have been there in the first place due to what I just explained. But earlier administration was propably already deep enough in trouble with more burning day-to-day issues when tiddies and whatnot started appearing on creations and character designs, and the fine line drawn on water on what was and what wasn't allowed has been floating around in the sea of neglect ever since.

I believe that nudity (were it animu or whatnot) is capable of creating issues on most live streaming platforms and at this day and age you do not want to get blacklisted on those.

I agree that there should be colorblind mode that allows you to pick different sets of colours for things, but messing with text (background?) opacity would be an advantage and everyone would use it because if the text had a background "block" behind it, it would be almost like having a huge downwards pointing arrow on top of everyone.

I think that just changing the wording on the district names and having a better more describing wording on matchmaking than ON or OFF would guide people more to current open conflict style districts: Change normal districts to competitive and re-word matchmaking description to say something like "skill-based matchmaking" Change open conflict to casual and describe matchmaking with "equal size teams" Do some re-arrangement of the big pictures on district select and then call it a day and see what happens.

No, nobody actually caught for cheating has been released yet. It'll happen AFTER BattlEye patch goes live, no sooner than that. If a banned name has appeared in the game chances are that it's someone who's either gotten unbanned earlier and only now returned to the game, or someone who's been banned for something that is not under category of cheating. That's at least how I understand their communication.

As far as I know, nobody has yet been given anything apart from access to their banned FORUM accounts. There may (and will be) some ban reversals, but those are not going to be blindly handed out to everyone either.

We're under half a day into new forum and people are already rageposting on them and calling company employees stupid... Are you guys so openly hostile when you go to a local diner / coffeeshop? Because if you are, I don't want to even estimate the amount of bodily fluids of employees you have consumed in such places. And if you've neglected your account for so long that it needs password reset, who do we have here to blame for the hazzle?
