  1. Checked EULA for such keywords. No, there are no mentions of name shaming, unless name is used in defamatory way (on cars etc.) <- then it's considered harrasment.
  2. I don't belong to clans (why would I? It's responsibility. Needless.) What do you mean private groups? With who I play? Why you need that? And no. I don't keep data on that for sure. I gave you snapshot of my character. I don't feel like booting up game to give you my account overview. Maybe I post it later. Change translator. Seriously.
  3. Ah I see. You probably spend hours in social. I tell you straight away. More than 2k hours on Mitne. But I spent this hours playing as much focused as I could. There are other characters. One near 1k hours, others (many discarded) took my 50 hours on average. I play other games as well. Recently I started to limit APB as well. Finding it less and less fun overall. RIOT don't help.
  4. Picture not that actual because I didn't feel like waiting 10 minutes to log into game. So here. One I used before. Quoting me: Quoting me, yet again: Refered to NFS World. Problem of modern single-player NFSes? Too linear, movie-like. In some cases bland and chewed up content. I do not know a thing about it. I just tell you what I heard and know from friend which played it for hours without end. Tried to pull me even into that game. It really didn't click for me tho. His name was Thanator I think back then. Nowadays he cruise under different names so you might not know him at all.
  5. So I resume my question FOURTH time about groupings. (Second time in the same thread too since I obviously got ignored) Will you make sure that groups don't form team in RIOT matches or you never plan this at all? What is so hard to answer in that question, @MattScott or... @Lixil?
  6. You know shit about this series. My best friend was as veteran in that game as I'm veteran in APB. The only problem of that game was lack of development (Sounds familiar?). Developers just ran away from game and left population stagnating and bored. Everything else about this series was great. But when they done calculation that "Hey we pay more in developing than we get revenue out of it", they probably backed out. Left population to stagnate and then EA decided "fuck it, let's shut down". Yeah but personally I was observing that game in past from time to time and I never heard of major updates. Only minor with some new legendaries and other cars going into game.
  7. Alright so let's see. What kind of NFSes we got at present? Need for Speed from 2015 (garbage), Need for Speed: Payback (linear garbage which is more like movie) Last NFS was from 2017. They don't even plan next NFS as far as I know. With expection of maybe this: https://www.dsogaming.com/news/new-need-for-speed-game-wont-be-present-at-ea-play-2019-still-planned-for-release-this-year/ If quality of game is concern and we talk about EA as publisher... it must be bad. Yeah. Unneeded funeral of NFS World and other games which had population way bigger than APB got right now. Now NFS World is hosted privately and illegally by gamers.
  8. goes to your side, tip you to side and on roof and laughs in vegas
  9. Yeah well... EA killed that.
  10. No as... not a bit, it's just damn problematic. A bit it was after each past patches. Now it's just problematic. And problems stack up.
  11. Did you even read what this thread is about?... But nvm that, I will debunk your off-topic in 5 minutes: 1. At peak hours of Citadel there is always one district full and other completly empty. Jericho got that situation even worse, where they struggle to fill one district most of time. Now our very excellent auto option will send you to any empty server so in peak hours good luck finding ANY matches! 2. Don't even start me about FCs. If you want to join FCs they are either empty or full to brim. Auto-option will always send you to empty one anyway. Aka. threads in style "Why FC is always dead?". 3. The only one which will be unaffected with be RIOTs due to their nature. So yeah, sure. You don't fix issue for new players - you will make it worse for ALL players though with such action. If there would be any solution for "new players" then default tab should've been that of advanced, not basic. There is also my guide if you are misguided about game. Down in signature.
  12. Mandatory nostalgia for veterans and teaser to newer players:
  13. @MattScott What about randomization of teams despite people being in groups? I ask like third time again. Third. Why it hasn't been implemented in first place? Why it isn't in plans? You evade my question about it like fire. I mean it can't be that hard to code that...? Or is it? I prefer polite no, than silence. My whole rant might be over the edge but I think random teams are more valid concern than others. (Although yeah, end-game and respawns need serious rework, sound isn't something major on it's own but can be fixed easily) In my case the main reason which drove me away from RIOT is not respawns, not constant deaths, not bad and unfair end-game but fact that if I don't find group of "cheaters" I most likely won't succeed as I run in the same dominating groups of sus people over and over. Randomization of team would at least reduce that problem.
  14. @Hexerin Difference between EA Lootboxes and LO/G1 Lootboxes and their policies: 1. You don't have so-called "entry fee" like YongYea perfectly explained in case of LO games. They are in F2P models. In Electronic Arts model you spend 70$ or more depending on edition for right to even play damn game. 2. EA consciously locks up game progression or harms gameplay to encourage buying boxes where good reward chance is super low, in case of LO - while there are lootboxes, they both don't harm gameplay because there are good if not better free alternatives to that weapons out there as well as if you really want you can buy "rewards of lootboxes" aka. legendary weapons of other players on the marketplace. Good luck seeing that in any EA game. 3. EA keep lying to gamers about "no lootboxes" being in their games. After premiere, they add lootboxes. And continue what was said above. 4. EA bypasses law which would make all their games with lootboxes +18. As lootbox is gambling with real money it falls under PEGA rating of A. Most of their games though at best are rated at T. They specially avoid narrative that this is gambling. They also avoid narrative of gambling due to it being taxed by goverment. Hence why such idiotic comments from EA representatives. EA had it coming if you ask me. They basically switched their model to lootbox revenue and it gonna bite them hard in the patootie. And honestly? I can't be more happy about that. They ruined every series I loved by ruining studio producing them. Mass Effect, Sims, Simcity, NFS... list goes on and on. I hope they go bankrupt. Because as publisher, they got nothing other to offer.
  15. Honestly I'm annoyed by that song, mainly because of that drop each time I enter menu. It hurts my ears and annoys the hell out of me. Plus I prefer old one for nostalgia trip. My god. This were good times...
  16. Dunno why, your pictures seem to be gone. Well my personal thoughs are that either shadow setting itself is messed up... or it's somehow interconnected with lighting. I would play with that two settings. Do you have Light Environment Shadows turned on?
  17. 8 threads, 4 cores. Who lied to me? I do know how cores work... Nvm. I took threads for cores. 4 threads, 2 cores. Might make it weaker i3 out of rest but still APB don't use more than one.
  18. Let's just agree that secondaries shouldn't be more powerful than primaries in their class.
  19. I love to follow people hidden in shadow and jump on them when they least expect it. If you are confident of your skills, it's pretty good strategy although not applicable always. Using car as temporary barriers is one strategy as well. Your own car can be ally on it's own if you are smart with it. Again, not always you will have access to car though. Some objectives are not even accessible with it. I try to pick up only one enemy from whole team. If I see second one joining up, unless I'm in pretty good situation or with my back to wall, I usually abort that attack and try to run away or evade them. No shame in that, you resume attack sooner or later. Might even lure enemy out of hiding into more favourable spot for you. I'm also on lookout for suspicious "pieces of metal" sticking out there and there. While enemy is usually smart enough to hide somewhere, either their impatience or bad positioning can give away they camping spots. If you know there are several enemies in certain spot, dropping nade there is not so bad of idea. Treat your primary or secondary as finisher then. If you facing some people which are better than you in terms of skills, at least try to outsmart them. Taking longer time to wait for right moment is better than dying several times until mission will end.
