First of all, name and shame is against forum rules so you're probably not going to want to list any names. Second, GMs can't ban.
-
Joke aside, the price of the condor has always been a mystery to me.

I personally love the Carbine, though atm I'm stuck in WF and can't really use it all that often. You have to be really careful with it, if you click too quickly you'll end up not shooting once and that is basically a death sentence. If you get it right it's a very serious CQC gun.

What Happens If Battle Eye Is Not Enough?
WhiskeyTangoFoxX replied to VanilleKeks's topic in General Discussion Archive
It absolutely is. Let's do some math to show. At any given time, there are at least 4 (6 if we count Nekrova but I will not for this demonstration) instances of FC at any given time, 1 of each on Jericho and on Citadel. if you want to have full, gap-free coverage you will need at least 3 GMs working 8-hour shifts on 4 districts minimum, 4x3 = 12. Now realistically, considering that GMs are volunteers, we'll say they can only dedicate 4 hours every day (still in fairytale land here obviously) which means we need 24 GMs for a barebones skeleton crew of 24/7 supervision. Sure, you could cut out one of the FCs, and sure you could cut out downtime when FCs are basically dead. It's still a far larger scale than you are suggesting. -
Yeah, that's likely true. Always did my best to point them in the right direction when I saw them. Use the advanced district select etc. Damn shame that video got big a month or 2 too soon :v
-
Especially considering we had a measurable increase in players after your meme-y APB video got really popular. Streamers and Youtubers are the best form of advertising for games these days. It's like word of mouth except a thousand times more effective.

The Ogre is still usable, I still see it around a lot. Yukon was legitimately broken, it was never meant to have that high of a firerate. So I don't know what your point is.
-
That'd be one possible solution. It could also be that it could be fixed in other ways, but I don't know enough about the APB customisation engine to say that with certainty.
-
Short answer, no, that has nothing to do with that. what they could do is make the pad just wrap around the leg more instead of retaining the shape, but that could look rather awkward on baggier clothing that this item was designed for.
-
I think this is the first time I've heard anyone claim the raptor is OP. You barely ever see anyone using it even.
-
That's not a bug, it's at best a technical limitation of the customisation system. The holster pads are not made to be worn on skin tight clothing and as such will have strange looking artifacts like that
-
The aimbot of course would still aim at the person, just like you would. And also just like you, the aimbot will not have the info that that player has already rubberbanded elsewhere, so it will shoot into the air just like you did. I really do not see how you could think that it magically knows the actual location of the opponent.

Relogging worked for me when I had this issue, so I guess that would be your best bet as Kevkof suggested

I second this motion.

[Showcase] Vehicle Customization
WhiskeyTangoFoxX replied to vsb's topic in Breakwater Galleria (Creations/Fan Art)
Yep, as long as the car you are duplicating is sellable, all the duplicates will be too and the original will remain unaltered. You will need to refurbish the car before selling. -

You can sell the duplicates, provided you can sell the base car in the first place. -
huh, aight fair enough.

I'm almost certain this was addressed by Matt in one of the many many many threads about this topic. The sheer magnitude of scale involved with having a live employee at all times for every district is completely insane and infeasible financially, not to mention that they'd be paying people to basically sit around and do nothing for most of the day on the off-chance that they may need to ban someone. FF was not removed last I heard. As a matter of fact it was updated and LO actually paid the license fee that Reloaded neglected to pay for. The only thing that was disabled was the broadcasting, and despite what some seem to think, that's a very good thing. BattlEye was added on top along with a proprietary server-side measure that we know absolutely nothing about (again, as it should be.)
-
Good in concept until you realize that this solution will be obvious to the cheater, and they will then act accordingly. These kind of things have to be non-intrusive to the player as otherwise it will put them on guard knowing they are being watched. You don't want that.

Add level boosters / contact skipper to Armas
WhiskeyTangoFoxX replied to NikkiCasinoKnows's topic in Game
I know WF is not exactly the most fun district in the world, but it's not so bad that you have to bypass it completely like that (imo anyway.) Aside from that, throwing money at the problem because it's not working right now is also no good. Yes, on Jericho leveling WF contacts is next to impossible and completely impossible outside of prime time. Yes, WF has some serious balancing and spawn issues. No, just adding a monetary bypass to the progression of a game is not a good idea, as a matter of fact it's terrible. I will never understand why these days it's considered okay to pay to not play the game. -
Battleye action district blocker
WhiskeyTangoFoxX replied to Empress_EDI's topic in General Discussion Archive
The only thing you'd reach with a Lawyer is even more lost money, you paid for a service, probably to even a different company for the majority, when the product was still working. There's nothing you can do to change that now. As for your problem, tried a completely fresh install of APB? Tried moving the install location? Steam? Non-Steam? Did you try using the -nosteam launch command to see if maybe the steam overlay is causing it? -
If they should do anything with LTL it's remove it entirely. It's just awful and completely counter-teamplay. Giving that option to crims would be hugely counter-productive because then they too have to deal with randoms playing a different game from the rest.
-
This is true at best in a 1v1, but as soon as you add even just one other person in the op you'll have a hard time keeping up. All LTL guns have a higher TTS than almost every lethal gun has their TTK. Unless the LTL user has the drop on the crim there is an almost 0% chance of successfully stunning them (with the exception of the NL9 which can corner pop, but even that is a 3-shot stun.) LTL is inferior to lethal weapons in every way, and as I said (and you completely decided to ignore not knowing what it actually means) unless you do it as a team you might as well be playing an entirely different game.
