  1. I would love it better without the knife. It isn't even Wakizashi, though I guess if the next "Katana" pack was just a single Katana I would happily buy it again account wide.
  2. shotgun backpack isn't angled like Double D and it looks a bit like odd rockets strapped to your back. They could really use the same angle Double D has.
  3. didn't they lower the cooldown on all mods and make that standard or does premium still lower it even more?
  4. Team killing is necessary at times. I have had team mates run while holding the objectives just to be an patootie, mean while we are at the drop off, or team mates that unknowingly hold the objectives and keep running around killing opponents. I found it to be a non-issue unless there is a team mate intentionally team killing and that is fixed by the auto kick system.
  5. I hope it's just the katana, the recycled knife is a pretty bad choice.
  6. "golds" that are in bronze are really just low threat silvers. Actual gold threat players rarely lose their gold status and can not move down to the bronze district. Is it fair? Only in that rank 255s have access to toys real bronze players rarely have access to thanks to the rank 195 mods. Drop all rank requirements to rank 85 and the game will become more fair for everyone. Their rank is meaningless as some posters here claim to have been playing the game for years and still can't play well against silver players.
  7. Witness Crims being witnessed... that is how Enforcers earn money. They can't simply ram raid in an empty district at N5 all day solo and earn a million credits, they have to get lucky and witness idiots doing this out in the open when there are enforcers around (check the map to see if enforcers log in to the empty district). and 8k? That's nothing. I've been able to gather nearly 250k in 30-45 minutes with my crim. Now, if you want to really bypass the whole witness system, since you were working with a crew, have one of the crew log on as an Enforcer and just have them hold the money. The Criminal farms say 5k, blows themselves up which drops the money, Enforcer picks up the money and holds it. After you reach a goal, the Enforcer stands at the crim drop off with all the cash, the Crim (who can easily reach N5 by mugging) then kills the Enforcer holding the cash, picks it up, takes a step in any direction and completes the drop off. Your whole complaint about a group of Enforcers doing what is intended is silly. Bronze/Silver/Gold The tags should go and so should displaying rank. No one needs to see anything more than the players name, title, and guild. Item hold missions Players should not be able to hold these items in vehicles or while car surfing. The whole idea of running with an item in a vegas 4x4 is just boring especially when there is a group of car surfers protecting the car with Aligs/Osmaws/Ntecs. High level locked gear Nothing should require more thank rank 85 to use. Awful objective placement This is just part of the game. Learn to use vehicles to block line of sight and your team mates to draw fire. Death themes I just /ignore people with annoying death themes. The bounty system This is a system that creates balance. If one team is slaughtering the other, N5/P5 is the only way to balance the mission and take those players out of the game long enough for the losing opposition to complete the objective. If you do not want this happening to you, go to a contact and lower your N4/P4 status. This has to stay as it is or there will be no chance for lower skilled players to win missions against much higher skilled players. Conclusion n/a
  8. I have the Ursus and the Ntec. I love the Ursus but would first suggest an open slot weapon with 3 slots over any preset version with only one slot. The caveat being the Volcano since really there is only one useful mod for any rocket launcher (3 point sling).
  9. I somehow doubt that is why you were banned.
  10. The only reason they don't want to modified crosshairs that are in game is that you can have rather large crosshairs that change colours when you pass over players. So instead of having a tiny crosshair that changes red, you can have a 1 inch diameter circle that turns red when ever you pass over a player. The accuracy won't change to the size of the dot, but a 1" dot is a lot easier to see than a crosshair.
  11. I use desktop logo for a permanent dot. Can't ban me for that. I don't see why a basic dot shouldn't be an option.
  12. lets slightly alter what you just said. "So what is going on. now we got English names an English spam all over chat now an game.. wtf is this.. theres enough of them to play there own server why have u made it so they now take over the EU servers?? or is it the goal to make it pure English.." It is the EU server not the English server.
  13. I play enforcer and thought that was just how the game worked.
  14. simple rapid fire macros skip shots because not all shots register between your computer and the servers. Not because your macro program (in my case Razer and Logitech) failed to trigger. programs which hook into APB and automatically execute scripts based on parameters it reads off APB are not the same as simple rapid fire macros.
  15. when TTK is 0.65 on some weapons, a delay of 0.1 can easily happen between your hardware-computer-internet-game servers. That 0.1 will throw off any "perfectly timed" ROF. What you are left with is either keeping the "perfectly timed" macro which will skip shots or use a blind rapid fire macro which will fire 2-3 times the ROF of any weapon to compensate for latency. In this case your bloom will grow wildly out of control in less than half a second. This is the reason I love seeing people use macros. Their skill level is low and they miss a lot of their shots extending their TTK more than a few seconds.
  16. rapid fire macro's and the mouse wheel to fire are easier but pretty useless compared to tap firing when over the target. You have zero control of bloom when using a simple macro and you miss too many shots.
  17. I keep titles active because it gives people away, long title just begging to be shot. I don't have one active on my character though. true but people can be colour blind to some degree.
  18. Unless they are using a program which reads APB to tell when they fire, no one is successfully using a macro with an optimal firing rate. There is too much latency. I am all for people using rapid fire macro's, even at my lowish skill level people who use macro's are not a threat compared to people who properly learn to aim and tap fire weapons.
  19. what about people who use their mouse wheel. It's actually a more consistent way to rapid fire than a macro as you get physical feedback when scrolling. should we ban people who change their hotkeys?
  20. the N5/P5 is there to balance the game. If one team is doing so well their members keep going N5/P5, anyone can happen along and kill them giving the other team a chance to complete the objective. That is balance. It maybe annoying, but that is one of the few things that creates balance in this game. The only change I would like to see is how P5 enforcers lose 1 level of prestige if they kill a random enforcer. If a P5 enforcer kills a random enforcer to lose their P5 status, this causes negative balance in a couple of ways. The P5 loses their status and is able to stay in the mission area. Any enforcer that fights back and kills the P5 actually loses all their prestige which is what the money bonus is based on. Since the only way for an enforcer to regain their prestige is to play missions, the only smart choice is to just die to another enforcer which is probably interrupting your mission.
  21. some weapon recoil just seems random but the sniper rifles seem consistent enough a script like that will help. I'm unsure if the recoil on sniper rifles is always the same with every shot.
  22. You can not create a "properly balanced macro" because of the delay between your computer and the servers. With short intervals between shots, if you try the perfect timing to negate bloom you end up just skipping shots on a simple rapid fire macro. A simple rapid fire macro can't read the game and tell if the shot command actually executed. The best you can do is set a rapid fire macro to fire as fast as possible but you will just max out your bloom instantly.
  23. a simple rapid fire macro won't improve your aim. You will still aim like a potato. A script user is basically using a trigger bot and will have nearly 100% accuracy. Anti-cheat engines should be able to tell the difference between someone with 60% accuracy and someone with 99% accuracy.
  24. trigger bots are being banned when caught, basic macro's never reach the level of accuracy that a triggerbot user has so there is no need to worry about being banned if you are using a rapid fire macro. There was a rash of people saying "I got banned for my rapid fire macro" when Frost went live, but really they were cheaters being caught by Frost which used player statistics to weed out cheaters.
