The camera rotates the same regardless of aspect ratio or resolutions. It can change the fov slightly, which can make the camera feel different, but rotation is the same so there's no advantage given. You can get the same effect playing on high resolutions with 4:3 aspect ratio like 1920x1440. Lowing the resolution below 720p means you lose key visual details, and all the HUD stuff blocks your screen. That's why I referred to it as shooting yourself in the foot, because you can't see as good. If it works for you, play like that, but it's anything but an advantage.

Going for those 140M OSMAW kills? It's probably just desync as usual. On their screen they've been standing still for 2 seconds, while for me they just stopped moving and the netcode played catchup. With the ATAC it's always silvers. -

HVR-762 - I can't deal the full 850HP even with the crosshair closed. Other players can quick switch and shoot before it closes and deal full damage. ATAC - Too much bloom to spray full auto. Silvers consistently min ttk at 50M. I don't get it. The above might be due to the sliding bug with high fps. I lock my fps to 120, but I'm sure there's still issues. -
If I have ran the application Process Monitor, Battleye won't let APB launch until I restart the computer. The application is closed. It's not running in the background. I have the same problem with some Java apps. For example, if I play a Feed The Beast modpack for Minecraft, some mods are detected by Battleye, even after closing Minecraft and the FTB launcher.

Just like splitting the servers between east and west is doing. If it's west I usually don't bother. I'll admit central servers didn't run that great, but it was only when they had the DDoS protection enabled. Disabled it ran fine.
-
They should have left it as a central server for the US. It provided the lowest average latency between all players. There's not enough players to support east and west. It's also pointless when players are allowed to join any server regardless of their latency.
-
7/18/20 - The populated west coast server was running fine. Still had 80-90ms latency, but it was stable. 7/19/20 - US-West is unstable again. I need extra hits to kill players. Some players don't take damage, even though there is blood and hitmarkers.

The mission Bad Investment has a burglary and a dropoff in the same stage. It drops a heavy item, and there is only 5 minutes to complete this stage. Often my team will clear the objective but not have enough time to drop off the item. For balance, it would be better to have the the burglary objective moved to stage 2. This will give you the full 5 minutes to move the heavy item to the dropoff.

Can we already have 2vs2 and 1vs1 removed from this game?

It requires 3 criminal players to start the mission without opposition. 2 criminals quit. The matchmaking finds 1 enforcer of similar threat to the remaining criminal. Bam, 1v1 Creme de la Crime. -
About threat segregation... again.

There used to be a training district that you could join, but you had to be under a certain rank. Don't know why they ditched it. -

3v3 is the most balanced. 2v2 can be unbalanced depending on the objectives, but most of the time it's fine. 1v1 is not suppose to be possible, but it can occur when there's 1 player left in an unopposed mission. -
The lobby would look way better with these as backgrounds instead of the floating taxi.

I've tried recording but I get a ton of input lag. I did make a post in the bug report sub forum. My ping in game varies, but pinging the server IP directly it shows it's consistent and stable. I don't have issues on US-East and EU servers, despite having similar ping (90+ ms) on EU. Another game, PUBG, has routing issues to their Dallas, Texas servers for many users who live on the east coast of the US. Maybe it's related. Haven't tried a VPN to reroute my connection.
-
How about permanently shutting down the US-West servers? With how buggy the hitreg is you would think there's an infinite HP hack for APB. Why the hell am I getting hitmarkers if my shots are not actually hitting?
-
If it's US-West servers they're always screwed up.

You sprayed a wall, then changed resolution. All that proves is you know how to change your in game resolution. When you said it reduces recoil I thought you meant there's an oddity that causes the recoil to rotate your camera less at low resolutions. What you're showing here is the equivalent of playing with a larger monitor or sitting closer to your screen. Recoil is not reduced. Slaps muzzle break on tommy gun

In the end I just want opp. I'd prefer if it made both teams the same size, but getting uneven opp is better than no opp. -
Best Weapons to Train your Aim???
BlatMan replied to kristabelles's topic in General Discussion Archive
OCSAR and Obeya CR762. Both have tight enough accuracy that you won't land lucky hits by being off target, and their ttk is low enough to compete with most other weapons as long as you shoot first. From there, adjust your sensitivity till you get comfortable. Lower is generally better, but some players prefer higher. APB doesn't have a lot of range and hitboxes are quite big, so you don't need to be as precise. -
Same issues after patch.
