I received mine about 11 hours ago, in the mailbox linked to this forum account (which is also my game account).

Fair enough, it is indeed a different scenario for this merge compared to the previous merges that I actively 'took part in'. This is a server joining an existing server, not two servers being put together as a separate server. Unfairness will always result in issues. Any slight change could be seen as unfairness by the ones affected, so there will always be players unhappy with the end result.
-
1. They should already have code/algorithms to do that for them, unless they did this all manually for the previous merges. 2. It could indeed be seen as more appropriate for those joining the server (since Nekrova is going to Citadel, that'd be the people from Nekrova) to have to adapt to the server they're going to. 3. If they don't even use the name, I don't see why they should be entitled to keep it. If there is someone on Citadel that made a character with the same name that you have on Nekrovaand hasn't touched the game in 2 years, while you've been playing almost daily. would you then really feel it's okay to lose that name?
-
I guess both options should be viable, depending on what the staff will prioritise.
-
I assume you have a great idea of how it should be then? Please enlighten us.
-
It will most likely just be handled the same as it has been in all the previous merges, the more active account keeps the name and the other get's a namechange.

Wonder how'll this will go.............

Did you check what day we are today? -
As a possible work-around, change the selected character on Armas, then add it to the cart and if needed switch back to the character you want it on (for character specific things like name changes or items)
-
You can just click cancel to go back to the login menu That got fixed for me (and quite a few others) with one of the recent server downtimes.

It was also said that those rewards would be sent out over the weekend. If you didn't get anything by Monday around noon in L.A. then I'd post about it again

There's an issue with your data. His actual birthday is the one day that he doesn't get told Happy Birthday For his sake I won't post that date, you're welcome @SKay

Another reason why people choose to make a new account is to have more character slots without having to pay for them.

Weekly maintenance is every week at the same time, so it shouldn't be too hard to remember that timeframe (Wednesday at 9AM GMT). There's also an admin tracker that is linked on the top right of the forum, that should allow you to see the possibly important posts easily

1. Could you please just use the quoting system (the button right under the post), that'll also give the person you're responding to a notification. Which in turn makes it easier to respond back, if needed. 2. Multiple game accounts are allowed, the only limitation on accounts is for forum accounts.

I redeemed the code, but I'm not having issues logging in. This issue might just be unrelated to that code

Well, if you don't agree with them there's only one option for you and that is to not agree with the terms of service (which are part of the EULA) . Then you can just leave through the nearest door

There is a clear distinction that should be made between creating an account and playing the game. That distinction is clearly made in the EULA. You're allowed to create an account and sign the EULA from the age of 13 if you have permission/consent from a parent/legal guardian. Since the account can also be used to play other games that's not an issue. But to enter/use the game (APB Reloaded) you have to be an adult, there's no mention of younger age allowed with consent from a legal guardian there. The section of the APB EULA where all of this is mentioned:

An example of 2. that shows the conflicting information : 3. If they're not old enough they shouldn't be playing the game, but if they entered the correct information they'll be able to access their account fully when they are old enough. 4. The white of the 'planet' that was removed for the bg2 image could interfere with the white text that is overlayed on top of it. Also, a change like that can't be compared to some of the other changes we'd all love to see happen.

The first one: is an official announcement thread for the game mode with additional information on the blog (which is linked in the post) The second thread: is for all the information that is discovered/theorised during the ARG that is going on around the Redhill Institute Of Technology They each serve a very different purpose

It doesn't download an update, it scans all the files to verify them.

As far as I'm able to tell the prices are still the lowered/adjusted values we've had since the last major rework. Is there any particular price that makes you think they were reverted?

A very appropriate song for when you're playing APB

This thread gives an overview of how the support response times have been evolving. In very short, due to a ticket spam and the learning curve for the staff they got a backlog, they're working through it all and getting closer to having decent response times. There isn't really anything you can do to speed up support, that's something they have to do.

Congratulations, I've gotten all the nano ones, but still waiting on the STAC here
