  1. Considering that they never officially "grey area'd" or permitted the medium item exploit, but the old dev team openly said that the door opening is okay. I don't get your point. While i'm against both, one was given the okay. I'd rather they both be fixed once and for all honestly, with the door opening given alternate ways to open a door. Merged. F and LMB isn't much the issue, you end up moving just slightly faster than base speed. Its where you move the item at sprint speed, that it becomes an issue. Its Shift + space+f+x + space +f+x+ space. Noone's really complained about F+X, it provides little benefit and only benefits because the item pick up and drop locations from a character. You might move an item 4m/s this way, and a heavy item "slightly" faster than base. The issue is when you move medium items with a base speed of 3 m/s at 6m/s from the medium item movement exploit.
  2. They are however rather similar. Aside from mag and base accuracy that is. Merged. NTEC is easy af to play, the reason people use it is because it was versatile in CQC and mid-long, where weapons like the star and far lose out at mid because the bloom recovery is slower and weapons like obeya were only superior at/past the NTEC damage drop. The STAR and FAR feel "meh and boring" because they require slower paced shots at mid range to be effective, while the NTEC doesn't. It tap fires and achieves kills quickly in comparison. The reason why buffing every other weapon to old NTEC standards is impossible, is because game balance overall would then be atrocious. The other weapons that take out ntec, do so within their separate niches which they have to be competitve against the other weapons within their niches to be capable of doing so. If you're to buff anything to the NTECS strength, then their niches would be broke and much less defined, like the shredder first thing from the shotgun rework. Any weapon that goes into mid range, has to compete against the NTEC, and the only guns that are often effective against it, are only effective either as an SMG in 10-15m, or obeya at 40+/obir past 57m. Other AR's are tend to be much more useless in midrange. Aside from the FAR who's accuracy helps negate the slow bloom recovery. The only thing wrong with NTEC imo has always been the bloom recovery speed, but they've opted to nerfing it in a billion "other" ways lel. Dunno about you but getting kills is getting kills. It's satisfying to use NFAS and ATAC to teamwipe. Dunno why you think that it's boring, it's no different than using the NTEC to teamwipe. Using non-meta guns like the shredder, odin series, and such are extremely satisfying to get kills with but they aren't broken and uber ez either. When facing an NTEC I would go NTEC because its the only thing that would effectively compete against it at all ranges from cqc to mid. Not because "oh ntec fight is fun" (lel). There are a number of high skill players who wanted the NTEC nerfed as well, because they know that it isn't the "epitome of balance" that people claim it to be. I don't find "ntec vs ntec" fights 24/7 to be fun. Dealing with only 1 out of like 15? mid range weapons 90% of the time IS boring. HVR's issue was QSING, not damage imo. They decided to break both in an annoying and backwards way. One group does everything to get easy kills, including crutch behind a previously too versatile weapon and the other plays the game and has to deal with the consequences of not using broken weapons by using them as well or losing. That's a fun game to play. The NTEC ATM is probably the most balanced its been, however the fact that they had to hardnerf CQC because they don't dare touch the midrange aspects of it is laughable.
  3. You know damn well that it doesn't work that easily ingame, and "just shoot them" doesn't negate the fact that its an exploit that's consistently being abused.
  4. Games have mechanics which are able to be bypassed when they inadvertantly removed animations to make the game smoother? Quick exploit the removed animations to bypass the games natural movement speed reductions! The only acceptable one is the door kick. It's stupid af that they havn't made any animations/other ways like grenades to open doors by now while fixing it in 7 FUCKING YEARS! Don't make me laugh with the "larger skill ceiling" for abusing exploits. Hur x + f + spacebar so hard, such high skill huur. Enemies can't catch up to me now without grabbing a vehicle. Lucky me I moved the item ~60m by the time they spawned and another 18 by the time they got into a vehicle! huuur so hard to do. The movement exploit isn't hard, it isn't some high skill ceiling brainiac move. It's low effort, high reward, with no drawbacks which bypasses the games basic movement mechanisms. You can say "oh but if you miss it once" yes, if you miss it once after jumping 30m, you've still moved 2x further than otherwise, and a 1s hick-up isn't going to negate that fact. Just because bad players rely on abusing a mechanic it doesn't mean it should exist.
  5. They nerfed jump accuracy and made its max bloom even larger. I feel they could have reduced its bloom recovery and jump accuracy instead, but having a gimped ntec in cqc is pretty nice imo. The star/far is the most balanced weapon in the game. The NTEC is/was superior to every other "mid range" weapon ingame. There's a reason why the majority used the NTEC over any other midrange gun even when owning most of them. If something in APB is balanced, like the OCA, it's used, but not overtly so compared to other weapons in its niche and category. When something is overpowered, it's used without end, like qs hvr, jump scout, prenerf C-2, and prenerf atac, and NTEC by the majority. Considering people who never wanted it touched argue "just buff every other gun to be as strong" and then when a weapon like the ATAC or anything similar that isn't an NTEC comes along or gets buffed to be capable of competing, or performed better than the NTEC in "x" range, it got nerfed from ntec mains (and litterally everyone else complaining because it's too powerful). Why? Because NTEC was broke and anything stronger than it is automatically considered broken. Anything that tends to be stronger than the NTEC in the rifle-ish niche, also ends up being too overpowered for cqc weapons, which ironically, is why NTEC got nerfed in CQC and jump shooting. NTEC really only needed jump shooting nerfed and bloom recovery lessened to like 4 or 4.25 for a start to see how it performed. But that would have accrued billions of whiners. At least not too many people bitched about the current ntec changes from what I've seen. NTEC is still used heavily because no other weapon aside from obeya can easily harrass people at range, but I've seen other weapons being used a little bit more often now as well which is good. The STAR should be the ideal weapon that one considers the most balanced, and which other AR's should revolve around. The reason the NTEC was always seen as that was because it was always too powerful, and not "the newbie weapon" which is ironic since the best pistol aside from the .45 is the fwb.
  6. I see dark shadows but I dont really see "black" shadows, and those are very few and far between, likely easily fixed by turning up brightness like in any game. The APB EU graphic is probably near standard or lower than half for brightness. Most people i know turn theirs up to what your screenshot is, which is honestly too bright imo.
  7. Honestly though, the EU shader pic looks far better than the normal game picture, there's litterally no contest. It's not even that dark and grimey either. It just needs a few tonal adjustments and things like the greens being brighter, with brighter hues on a few objects in the light without looking so painted. The colors in the pic are so dark because the brightness isn't max like your picture. Really though, why complain when it'll look 30x better to begin with? Heck, I've even streamed and the stream looks fine (better than the game does on my computer) but i've had buddies who play with brightness at max complain because it's too "dark" like guy, you can litterally see "everything" on the stream how is it too dark. lol Kinda strange to see you complain about the EU shaders when your profile pic looks exactly what your complaining about xD
  8. I'm not saying its to smear orbit, however I don't think L0pht is the most liked person in the server either... however that also throws into question other streamers who many many many more people extremely dislike. But that's also depending on if its true or not.
  9. because there is an exploit that's never been fixed with it which negates the movement speed reduction and lets you move it at sprint speed with it. I'm sure there's a number of people who have set up macros for it as well. It's dumb af that they havn't fixed it. There's movement speed limits on items for a reason. They fixed it on heavy items by making it extremely clunky to move them. The reason they havn't fixed it on medium items is probably because they refuse to make moving them a little clunky to prevent the glitch abuse. The problem is that it makes you move medium items which have a forced movement speed limit, able to be moved at sprint speed. It's not how the game "should" function, and its not a solution. It's simply something they refuse to fix and that people abuse for easy wins.
  10. It wont matter, if you fire fast enough you'll never hit the sprint animation/speedup, you'll have to have a very slow ttk to think of benefiting from it.
  11. that's the fr0g. .45 has ttk advantage .45 and fr0g, can't go back to fbw.
  12. mb, i guess I should have said that its useless for other reasons than being 4stk
  13. That's actually not a bug, it gets more accurate while moving. You literally don't need hunting sight on it for that reason. It's probably just a side effect of its unique accuracy gain. the ISSRA is useless for other reasons, not because of corner popping.
  14. To be fair though, .45 seems to be more of a weird hybrid finisher. Like, its extremely good at just annihilating 1 enemy especially if tagged, and its low mag seems to suggest this but if you have cover, it's not too hard to take out two or even 3 people coming at you because of its ttk and range for a pistol. It's a psuedo primary in the secondary slot, and generally weapons that do that, such as the prenerf RFP, and prenerf FBW, got nerfed for that reason. Granted, fr0g permits multiple kills in a mag, and can do similar as the .45, its severely limited in range capabilities. I've consistently near teamwiped just with the .45 while getting rushed from several sides. Where with any pistol or weapon I would be using at the time except maybe the fr0g (depending on ranges), it would have meant death. The only thing that makes the .45 resemble anything balanced is 7 shot mag, however it's not very hard to consistently 1 mag enemies if you aren't spraying and because of its damage, you don't have to worry about CA compared to the fr0g where even a fraction of a second (.3s?) and its an added shot. Yes the player has to be "skilled" 5 hit but most players using it now ARE skilled vets, and it's not hard to do so. You start spraying the .45 real fast and enemies immediately run for cover or die, even if you miss and have to reload they're generally so tagged that finishing them isn't an issue. Saying that hitbox behavior and latency should factor in isn't much of an arguement because the majority of the time, they aren't an issue, and i tend to reg better with the .45 than I do primaries while lagging. (really though it makes no sense) I do own both the fr0g and .45, and I generally feel that the .45 is just a tad too powerful. Maybe you're right and reducing its mag to 6 or reload time may be better, as it would solidify itself as a finisher, or a hard to use psuedo primary with no leeway for error. Though I feel that making CA have a little more effect on it, or making it so it cannot spray near as fast may be a slightly better option.
  15. Honestly over the last few years, its rare to run into aimbots, maybe a triggerbot, but I've seen more people who seem to ESP than full blown aimbot/triggerbot like they used to, and Macro tends to be the most common. That said potential ESP is still rather rare.

    Fr0g and .45

Fr0g Series - Buff damage to a 205-210 per shot - Currently 200 .45 Reduce damage to 215 per shot or/and increase ttk to .85-1s. - Currently 225 and .8 Right now the fr0g is a very niche weapon which can be great sub 10m and turns into a psuedo fbw up to 20, and due to CA and even a slight moment of cover it often takes an extra shot to kill. This is due to the Fr0g having exactly 200 hp damage. I feel it should get a minor buff to its damage to alleviate CA3 slightly in cqc, but not gain near as much overdamage as the .45 has. It would likely end up giving it another 1-2m possibly of range from the increased damage, though i don't see this necessarily as bad or a potential to worry that it would become too imbalanced. (Though i'm okay with testing to ensure it isn't too powerful) Whereas the .45 which has much more range and a little more damage does not have this issue what so ever, it has the same TTK and much more range. It's not nearly as spammable as the fr0g due to 7 shots vs 10, however i feel it's a bit too effective due to its ttk, overdamage, and range combined. At least from my years of maining it and and from being on the receiving end. I always end up switching back to this from anything else I use because how it makes enemies much easier to handle. Overall I feel it's a tad "too" strong in comparison to most other pistols at the moment, except for the fr0g which is severely limited to cqc engagements and has issues with CA and an enemy being even 1m out of range. There's no other pistol like it which can reach to 40m effectively and still end up doing so well in cqc against the more F2P counterpart pistols, while still going toe to toe with most cqc weapons. All of the other f2p pistols that can reach 30m have ~1.05ttk in comparison to the .8. While I feel that due to the amount of shots and the low room for error, a somewhat lower TTK than 1.05 is fine for the .45, especially since you generally have to fire slower to hit at range, I feel that .8 may be a bit too low due to its cqc effectiveness. I wouldn't say increase its TTK to that of the FBW or higher because I feel that would overnerf it, (though speaking in lines of TTK's and range, doing so may push it to a psuedo balanced state, but it would need a mag buff, and in general if a pistol can't effectively toe to toe against the FBW, it's considered trash if most of its range is within the FBW range). However a slight increase to the TTK between .8 and 1s to make it a little less forgiving in cqc, I feel may not be too harsh on it.
  17. I mean, it wasn't "that" bad because it didn't touch how stupid strong it is past 50m. Luckily you have almost nothing to fear from the NTEC sub 10m half the time now.
  18. I mean, it was this or stop 3ps3 from being on it, but they wouldn't do the latter, and base increasing equip time is a nogo.
  19. I always drive safe paths where I know enemies wont be with carsurfers unless need be. The worst though are the carsurfers who hold items or hop out window and die with items. *cringes*
  20. CQC weapon accuracy is fine, they have good accuracy and are effective up to 15-20m where they can hit ttk easily. At 20-30m it gets a little more rough but they can still get kills. PMG is accurate and can do better at 20-30m, the S1na and such also. They have only ever been buffed in some form or another except for when they "fixed" the overbuffed the OCA, and made CJ actually have an effect on SMGs, albeit very little. Shotguns are strong within their respective sub 7-10m niche depending on which, aside from the outsider ones like strife and shredder. Accuracy there is not an issue. The ntec is the best and most popular weapon because it "was" effective in cqc, mid range, and even to 60-70m where it really should not be because of its accuracy, damage drop, and recovery. Instead of reducing its ranged effectiveness, they went with nerfing its cqc effectiveness (it was likely a choice between nerfing either or, or both). While I don't see it as what was "needed" (I would have prefered a more midrange nerf) the nerf has made cqc weapons, and being in cqc against the ntec much much easier. When a weapon is too effective, it gets nerfed. If you havn't noticed this cycle the last few years from the C2, ATAC, HVR, and other weapons that deserved some form of nerf, thats on you.
  21. Dethreating and gold lock, along with no new content, trashy stompy players abusing EVERYTHING and cheap tricks are what did the game in. The companies not fixing these issues, allowing them to be done for so long, lead to this.
  22. it will, LO and G1 have said as much, however the question will be "how much".
  23. N-Tec did get nerfed like 3 weeks ago tho bud. The shirt is just another whiner who wanted the NTEC to continue to dominate everything.
  24. Nope, hes in middle of the road past the obj, hes at least 70m from the guy. When he started getting hit first he was almost 80-90m. It would take a lot of hits to kill at that distance, almost an entire mag or so without missing if not some into the next. (I used to run HB3 on star and snipe people at 80m with it lel)
