  1. 3? I've had even more than that reworked and changed. Nano, Scout, Shredder, to be strife, c9, atac, blah blah the list goes on. Most of them needed fixed, and the only reason I bought some of them (aside from the strife and shredder) was because of how broke they were to begin with. I bought em knowing they'd be nerfed in a few months/years. Sooo feels bad but doesnt I guess.
  2. It's easier to say demon, and i think it's just the translation from stuff is easier to say demon. Oni vs Akuma for example, however, sometimes you'll hear them say Akuma, but it'll translate to "demon"

  4. pretty much, its pure cqc so its ttk is fairly low you actually can, it's been like that forever.
  5. nope however, jump shooting can be done easily without a custom crosshair as the crosshair doesn't disappear while jumping. It only applies to going in and out of sprint and some of the people who have autosprint enabled may use it. Most play vanille so it's not an issue.

If they are on the planetangent, you can snipe from the highway across the way and the skate park depending on where on the planetangent, you can also snipe/AR/rifle them from the border high roof. If they are on border high, you can snipe from the highway, or the construction area. Sometimes you can get lucky across the street in the little housing area. Also if you're into rushing, you can rush from below and jump on the vent if they are camping the ladders, or flank in from the skate park which tends to work well as well. grenades help as well.

  8. clearly a foe (meter), the red name gives it away. A red title under fieals green name doesn't mean anything to me. Even then I see the title demoness in the box, but since I actually *cough* read the red name before I fire. I have no issue with it. /shrug. actually, we don't get red titles because red is associated with <GM>

  11. APB will be getting the upgrade, sadly no to motorcycles, helis, or boats due to physics. district would be nice car performance? No clue sounds interesting 4x4 growl ouuuu weapon skin designs were canned due to the amount of impact customization has on the game servers currently. (There's a reason why full gold/silver districts full of maxed out character customization bars run like trash in comparison to a full district of newbies/presets.)
  12. Having been there before, I'd have to agree with those that say "try to care less about winning". It's honestly true. I changed my views for the most part to personal performance/getting that one kill on the annoying guy, and it turned out better lol. That is unless i'm getting trash missions in a row or some other annoying thing like 2v2s instead of 3v3/4s4s.
  13. I've helped a bunch and they were happy for it, I guess our experiences differ in that regard. I may have only had one out of a number that denied any help. Besides a language barrier. When I run solo and get a fairly even match with the only two golds being me and an enemy, with silver teams, i'll lay off the silvers if they aren't max rank, and focus the gold first in most situations, giving them a chance hehe
  14. Oblivion gains accuracy to pixel accuracy when you move, and it can already be sprinted though its 0.5m/s slower, and i believe is fairly accurate while jump shot. Imo it's fine mobility wise, as it is supposed to be "heavier" than lets say, the scout and issr series. But that's just a guess. But what more mobility do you mean? Sprint? walk? Marksman movement? Why not use mobility sling then? except that you'd think that is true if they'd have higher ttk's than SMGS to counteract that and actually make them weaker than smgs in the open, but the TTKS are generally the same, which leads to that not really being the case. Shotguns easily compete in the open as long as it's within the shotguns "niche" without walls (except strife, because that's the only one that follows, good behind cover, sucks in the open rule).

  16. I think either SMG, LMG, sniper, or Assault rifle would be fine, they are really lacking in "normal" f2p aspects from contacts without looking at the joker store or JMB for variance. Carbines already cover a number of ranges with F2P variance. If we are talking about Armas, i'd say SMG or Assault Rifle
  17. you get the skins for oblivion, misery, strife etc when you have the pack. And can put them on every gun (thankfully) I do agree with not needing to nerf strife, but they probably feel that its preventing people from using fragile (Not the case but w/e) or that its just unfun to play against with fragile. Shredder became OP so they renerfed it to semi-useful but not very effective. I feel that making it so that it can 3 shot a little easier, but keep it at mostly 4 would be fine. It's just a hassle to have to 5/6 shot people at 15-25m for no apparent reason lol Oblivion is a fine gun, maybe let it shoot out of vehicles? It's nowhere near as strong as the ISSR-B is in AV capabilities (i think?) I wouldn't mind giving it a ramp feature which makes it 3 hit at like 90m+, it would still be worse in that regards to DMR at like +83m and slower than the dmr (I think?), but it would have a slight niche where it's more useful than currently, BUT it still has a faster base ttk than DMR. Or give it a 3 hit ko at sub 5m then 4 past that. Dunno, it would be interesting.
  18. We used to have several programs that did so, but I think SPCM? disbanded? (correct me if I'm wrong) and most "Vet's" don't care enough to mentor new players to begin with.
  19. a. How would you fix corner popping? The only way to effectively curb the shotguns behind cover time in comparison to every other gun, is to make them spend more time out of cover, which means? More shots need shot. (I don't believe its the "best" method, however, i have literally no other idea to fix it and i doubt LO did either.) b. Shotguns will still be able to cornerpop, however the idea is to make them spend more time out of cover, due to their effectiveness in corner popping. It has little do do with it "being like every other gun", and more-so with making shotgun cornerplay easier to break. (it really can be a pain, it's already a pain to break corners anyways) While I agree they do have lower range and can be less forgiving, you are downplaying how easy shotguns are to use in the first place especially with corner popping, which negates a number of the downsides the shotguns have and makes them direct positives. SMG's still have the same/similar TTK as the shotguns, and they still also miss. Cornerpopping turns what would be a more equal playing field, into a negative for the SMG or any other gun. Where as any other weapon you'd have to pop out for that amount of time, shotguns spend less time out of that cover. Increasing STK while keeping TTK the same, makes shotguns MORE forgiving on missed/partial shots. I see no "risk" in using a shotgun. I don't switch to shotgun thinking "oh no i'm risking x,y,z" unless its me using the strife or other weapons like the oblivion or odin series where i think "im risking it big because of the ttk/stk differences". You act like theirs a gameplay variety between ntec, carbine, and hvr meta.
  20. Considering its the ONLY way to fix corner popping. It might be "bad" but it forces shotguns to be like every other gun without extreme upsides.
