Remove scrollweel fire

Why is allowed the scrollweel fire? It just broke evry semy auto weap.... Oscar - ftw - etc etc...  And its abused , a lot of ppl use it , or if they dont they just use macro ( that should be bannable too )

You do realize that scrollshooting often results in overfiring, ending up with missing bullets server-side right? It requires just as much effort to time correctly as pressing LMB (which isn't hard in the first place, just shoot a wall for a little bit). Not to mention, it's very awkward to track opponents while your finger is doing that strange motion.

semi automatic weapons are balanced around their theoretical min ttk

scroll wheeling does not change that theoretical min ttk

therefore scroll wheeling does not unbalance semi automatic weapons

lots of misinformation happens in this game. usually through misguided friends in-game.

try out the scrollwheel fire and tell me how much better you got.

Scrollwheel is a bit of a nightmare. Just being good at clicking is massively superior.

It gives pretty much no advantage, makes controlling precise timing even harder, and is just all around stupid. Why block it?

While scrollwheeling might help a terrible player to become a bit better it will also stop him from becoming more than decent.
Ruining your timings with semis will be more often a disadvantage than an advantage for you.

Scrollwheel firing is a gimmick. It doesn't help you in the long run, only scuffs your aim and sense of fire rate.

scrollwheel is an option on your mouse. saying scrollwheel is not allowed is like saying rightclick or leftclick isnt allowed either....

If firing a semi-automatic weapon at it's maximum intended rate of fire is giving the user an advantage, the weapon is unbalanced.

In most cases its useless , and i agree whit u , but if u use it whit the ftw and oscar for exeple is absolute broken, u'll will never get that fire rate ( and for me even precision, cuz it becomes easyer to aim )
And trust me thers a Lot of player abusing it , even my slef today i played whit it and u could kill any1 whit the ftw -_- ( and when it comes to clicking, i cant even be costant whit it's rate of fire )

fairfight did not ban for scroll wheeling

fairfight is still here btw, it just doesnt broadcast bans anymore

We still have Fairfight. 
Fairfight  disconnected allegedly because of false prohibitions-scammers have achieved the desired .  and helped them by MattScott , Unfortunately .

Partially correct.
Fairfight was responsible for false bans in the past.
But Fairfight is still running alongside BattlEye.
So we have both a client sided and server sided anticheat.

Because no macro is perfectly timed due to a few factors.

1) computer processing speed

2) server side processing speed

3) latency

The only way to maximize firing is to have the rapid fire macro fire well beyond the perfect ROF.  If you set the macro with a "perfect" ROF, it will not function like you expect.  It will skip shots which causes you to fire twice as slow and due to the factors listed above will never be with in perfect parameters.

And anyone firing a semi-auto as fast as possible will also reach maximum bloom faster than people who tap fire.

I wish everyone used rapid fire macro's set at "perfect" or even maximized ROF.  People who do this make easy targets.

Now, people who use triggerbots or aimbots, that's another issue which has nothing to do with simple rapid fire macros.
