Nice rig. some appreciation for you. 6core 12 thread feels nice right. so premade.. tricky (personal opinion) Your OS is out of date though, known as 1909 , the latest is 20H2. run your updater . So Wifi has come along way , but like everything there is a thousand options and configurations between the makes, they all lock each other out. another issue is if your actual "broadband/internet" connection is over "Phoneline" instead of satalite or Coax/fibre then you will always notice a slow down when everyone in your street gets home from school or work and begins streaming or playing games. its the same for the power grid when the tv ads come one everyone goes and makes a tea.. you say that if you move 1m to a side its poops out. this is your issue. Im a bit lost on this : your saying you "Cant" use a direct cable, but then say wifi does not work, you use a 20m cable , the only way you can get wifi. we need to separate the terms WIFI / Wireless = Is a type of connection with no direct physical cable but by frequency with many factors that can break connection. Ethernet / cable = is a type of connection with a direct connecting cable that can only disconnect by damage or hardware. Internet/broadband / ISP = Is referred to as your "incoming connection" or internet. - If your Wifi/wireless "up" is 0.75 then this is a big issue as the game relies on good connection in both directions, - always having an issue between 22:00 - 23:00 i would actually question if anyone in the house is watching tv the news via the internet? also check your computer if it is set to do update checks at this time? - ISP Caps / peak times can also be an issue,. it is different in other countries but many have a "usage" cap. if you download (in any form) of data to a set limit you may have your connection speed reduced. so if you play for 2 hours and youv unknowingly used 3gb of interenet data playing games, then this would be the result of your connection reduction. this would also account for the variation in timing. additional: having your game on C : Os drive. this is not advisable, but not priority right now.

I run a Ryzen 3 2200G 3.7 APU, 24GB DDR4 Hyper x Fury RAM and A GDDR5 256-bit MSI Armor OC AMD Radeon RX580 2040sp It doesn't seem to matter Lower resolutions, lowered settings no matter what I do once I get into one of the 2 open districts and even when I go to the social after The game has constant stutters of on and on like a light switch mainly when I move or look a certain way then when it doesn't stutter it runs butter smooth even on max settings it seems to be at intervals of 3-8 seconds one moment it's fine the next it's unplayable anyone got a fix for this... and don't say disable kernal locking because theres no setting on my bios I use an Asus Prime A320M-K motherboard And I have the internet running above 36 Mbps down and 7.6Mpbs Up using a boost connect via ethernet with a PCI-E Network card as back up I don't see no reason why it shouldn't be running so i'm assuming it's something beyond me! I just recently reinstalled and repaired the updater too and this is a new account it's currently less playable for me now than it was a yr or 2 ago, and trust me i want this to work I do but i'm slowly giving up hope that i'll ever not have something wrong with this game. please help me fix it so theres one less thing for me to complain about! (I use Windows 10: Prof OS)

I just don't think it matters for APB and here's my thoughts on why: APB has many weapons, because APB has these many weapons 1 or 3 are bound to be easier or stronger than the rest. APB is definitely the home of monkey see monkey do. 1 person plays a gun and owns everyone. That 1 becomes 2, 2 becomes 4, 6 to 8 and so on. Until this one gun becomes meta. This is what will happen everytime something is "balanced" in APB. I don't think it's so much as X,Y,Z guns are broken or overpowered. People get annoyed at fighting the same meta all the time. Which is why yes APB balance is important. To distribute said meta across many guns. My thoughts on a solution? Well I would make the guns every player has access to: STAR, NTEC, OBEYA, OCA, JG, SHAW, and ALIG really good and solid guns. Once each of these are fun to play against each other. Begin buffing every other gun in the game to be at least on par with the previously said weapons. Another thing to consider is that hit-scaning in APB can make a gun more broken. A solution to this problem would be to make it harder for hit scans to work effectively. A good start would be remove crosshair colors. And instead make the hitmarkers more reliable and add an audible hit sound to make the gun feel like it hit. Something like this if implemented correctly can aid in detecting something like ghost shots. But for now. These minor balance changes will never satisfy anyone. So I'd just roll with it.

Veteran players' humor is so sad ngl xd Armas haven't updated yet? I just wanna see these clothes account bound or not... And about griefers... I think there is have to be GM in every district to prevent such behavior... only reasonable solution for me.

There's actually a bunch of Golds, they're all in Silver district and a few in Bronze. Which causes the Silvers to go to Bronze and causes the Bronze to quit. Move all the Golds to Gold district and there would be people there. Some of them will de-threat though to get easy OP and go Gold again, which is why there should be an auto-move. I've been round and round with other Golds on this, and it always come down to them saying: I would like easier OP from time to time, so I don't have to go 100% all the time. One way around this would be to make threat per character and not account wide, for those times you want to chill with easier OP or play with low threat friends without bringing them to Gold.

hi @Bawes Good PC . its nice to have to much of everything right, intel 8c 16t 3.4ghz, 32gb ddr4, EVGA XC3 ultra RTX3070, Creative AE-5+, and 5 ssds + 1 hdd. and we play a 10year old game. oh and nice sound card you will like the AE-5+. it is correct that apb only supports 4gb of system memory, you could actually load the entire game in our amount of memory. Anyway.. So a few pointers. from easy to a bit more tricky . Iv tried to keep this short but with info to back my madness. (I have to state : all actions are your own accountability, I am only sharing my own experiences.) 1) Check your windows Firewall, just to make sure you have allowed the game access. common issue. and windows updates can reset applications. this would also apply to defender and AV / AM ,as they all now monitor applications activity and acces to memory + storage devices. so you may need to allow the application to run to gain access. again a 10 year old game, some security applications dont know what apb is. LOL 2 Part 1) RTX 2060 is known to be an issue, more than 3k , although there isnt enough 3k out there yet. this is covered in the "sticky Topic" of which i covered a huge section about some testing i have done. setting the gpu to "application controlled and creating a 3dm profile for apb," this if done right, and setting your gpu to a "normal" powermanagement state - performance state, plus other options will drastically help, why? unknown, we believe Nvidias boost overclock feature throughs the game,. also some other "theories" I say if done right because to many people miss a step rushing through or not taking note correctly. note to this, a lot of "Youtube Techies" state to put your gpu and Pc to "maximum performance" this is ok if your benchmarking, but games dont always like this 2 Part 2) I would try running the game in a window mode like iv stated in the "sticky Topic" . this is down to windows 10 and nvidia handling your display / monitor when running applications "fullscreen". you can simply run apb in a window a few pixels below full res,. check the topic states how to sync frames of the game, instead of the game doing it. after a game or two you wont notice the difference . 2 part 3) Drivers & Direct X .. I found first hand about this many times and i never learnt my lesson until it hit me hard with the 900Series and again with the 3070.. and swear by it now. if you get a new gpu , always do a clean os install when upgrading your system. as so much of the os windows 10, Direct X is tied into the operation of gpu hardware and Drivers. Obvious right. This is especially if your gpu supports DX12 Ultimate. I found installing my 3070 into an os with none Dx12U features caused chaos.. and the only solution is to do a fresh install, installing the os into the new GPU environment for the go. so if your 2060 has been playing up since any of the dx12u features have been enabled or an nvidia driver update inline with w10 service update. this could be your issue. "could" being the word. ( I would leave a full os reinstall as your very very last option, although i myself do this annually to the latest version of os and to keep the system super smooth.) 3 part 1 ) running the game on your OS Primary drive will always be an issue. so this has been a known issue for ages. yet many still run the game like it. just about all games after dx9a could be installed to a secondary drive. although modern games seem to be ok with running on "C:" you will always get better performance on a secondary storage device, as your os + other applications have to "seek, read write" your C primary thousands of times a minute. 3 part 2 ) through running my own tests of APB on SSD or on HDD, I have actually found the game runs better on HDD, sata3 7200rpm .. I have no answer why.. but on 4 machines the game on SSD chokes. 4) [this is rare, old "I.T tales" but always worth a check], a long time ago it used to be a big no no to mix amd with nvidia on boards not specifically stating support for nvidia., it has been said more recently now that amd are resource sharing there own cpus with there own gpus, it would be worth going into your bios and check your motherboard is correctly configured for your gpu, this being pci-X 16 v3 or v4, but correct voltage and interface spec. also check your OS configuration for this, you can load up NVC > help > system information or get the free gpuZ app. not doubting this the issue. as you may play other games. but its something worth checking if youv had issues else were.

First off. Dont Try the guns till you are ready to buy. the Try gives you a 35% discount, n its only valid for 24hrs or so. Second. All My weapons are Account Wide. So any new reroll i make gets all them guns. The .45 is an Excellent Pistol, it had the long range of a magnum but is not made for range combat like the .44s. Its best used close up The FAR is a good gun, its precise, lightweight. it tends to bloom out in CQ and becomes weak at range. The Cobra-A is a nice gun. It has slightly more punch than the Far, but slightly less range. Let me suggest you look at the sub guns, get the bullpup called Trouble Maker. this is a chopped down Assault rifle. with AR range, it comes with a hunter 3 site, tagger, and its silenced..DONT GET THE ENTENTE its a pos The Trouble maker is very accurate, great for taps, full 32 magazine, it has some bloom in CQ but makes up for it with its AR like damage. Its not the meta sub gun, but a very good medium. It does not suffer from the 'Drop Off' in power that the other subs have recently be subjected to. Not to mention the tagger comes in handy if you like the Joker job and or when you are the scrub on the team. You run out n tag em, n the gold goes over n kills him

Your Profile pic has convinced me True. 24h should be enough, but i'm guessing they wont do something like that because cheaters on new accounts then have access to those weapons for 24hrs or maybe the pressure of buying the weapon on sale. I usually look up the weapon (Hei <3) then trial it, if I feel like it's something that I would like to buy then I get it on sale and don't cry that I did. Instead I feel a sense of, "I collected another gun for my arsenal"

APB is such a flawed game where touching anything wont solve anything. One idea could be Time-lock new accounts to districts so that new players can fight new players until they can get a better feel for the game, then when time runs out let them run loose in unlocked districts. A really good way to enforce the new player idea would be to make it IP tied. So if APB detects a new IP it will time lock that account. This would keep hopefully most griefers out of this time locked server who keep making new accounts, and any recently banned cheaters as well. Also it's Bronze not bronce

APB is dead without the new engine. No it won't fix all of APB's problems right of the bat. But think of it as the game LO can start trying to get new players to play on. This is why they haven't advertised yet. I for one am scared to death of loosing my account, my game files are only what either LO themselves allow or what the game downloads. (aka advanced launcher is as far as ill go until they link configs to use) Cheating is in a gray zone, because APB is very hard to tell if someone is cheating. Maybe it exists, maybe it doesn't. My opinion? I think it does exist but ill never be able to prove it so I don't bother hack-u-sating or reporting it. While the game isn't dead yet, the population is on a steady decline since 2014. Honestly I just want LO to hit a home run with the engine, instead of rushing it and disappointing the community that still want the game to be great.

Why do ppl still think rank and gear is that important in APB? Take a look at my scorebord pics and u will see i'm not rolling by any means... (pls join silver district and "enjoy" some bitfenix gold matches and tell me again about getting "rolled") They should open green districts to protect snowflakes and new players. Than we would have a 1/2 green district and still 1 full bronce and 1 full silver... at least on EU. I also don't want to play anything but my main!!! Seems like u don't understand the problem. Sometimes when i log in ther is only 1 single bronce district up. So what i can do is: A) make a new account or B) not play APB at all So u want me to always go for B? Well than gg u fixed small playerbase by vote for -1 playercount... But u are totally right! and thats the problem with useless segregation. There are ppl willing to play but they just can't join any district and don't play at all. So u should have said: "for every player making smurfs there is also 1 player not playing APB at all" Just to clarify I also get rolled every now and than and yea also on bronce districts. Un can be an upset kitten or u can go on and enjoy the game. Ppl can choose for themselves.

The way to win APB is simple... 1. spit on segregation 2. make a new account (u can make as many u want) 3. join the district of ur choice (mostly there is just bronce open cuz if there would be silver u would play ur main) 4. Stomp ppl with STAR + FBW 5. Realize that segregation is useless...

Huh... since LO i only "remember" 2 GM's Comfeyer and Gindian (both only seen once or twice ingame) But pretty well remember about Revoemag and Jotunblut (basically always online). I remember 1 whole Day of "everyone who wanted to getting ported to the GM Roof in Financial to kill a Floating Snipped username. - Azukii (or something between the hundreds of accounts)" For sure we could discuss what old GM's were doing but i'd prefer... just NO...

This forum is mostly the same trash over and over, but every once in a little while there's still some humour to be mined from it... Support is the only way to get your account unbanned. I have been playing on my account since 2015 and I have never used third-party software or even before, with FF then BE then EAC then again BE I sent everything I needed to BE to verify my statements because I am sure of myself, unfortunately BE never responds to the email. Now I don't even try to unban myself because I already know that LO handles this game very badly and won't do anything. A streamer was banned live and the next day he was unban without even sending a single message to support. Several people on his live have complained about the same thing. We can imagine that if errors are produced but resolved, we can imagine that others have not been resolved

Correction, if GMs are doing their job correctly you wont see as much toxicity, trolling/griefing, hacking, cheating and dethreating. Cause the community would know to follow the rules if they wanted to keep their accounts and stuff.

Nobody uses voip on EU(poor english for most people probably main reason)If you want to talk with ur friend/s actually no need for vivox,discord,skype,teamspeak or any other external program.You can do it on steam(if u run the game on it ofc)U can always create free group and invite them even with free account(or inv as friends but for that you need to spend at least 5 bux on the account)The quality of this communication is good even with my mic for 10-20 bux i can talk clearly plus u can boost ur mic and test it p.s. or u can join already existin apb groups on steam

I have a feeling LO might want to totally remove the armas. Make JT more mainstream. I like how the purchasing of them goes. You buy enough JT not only do you get a chance at a legendary but you can also spend enough to get a golden box that can yield some awesome goodies. Maybe make ARMAS simply an account bound only type deal, since that's the only stuff I buy there now Be kinda stupid to by a character bound gun since most are in the JT. (I know not all, like the norseman for example)

At this point I would like to buy every gear pack if it was made account-bound. But seems like they can't rework old packs, and somehow they can make new packs acc-bound. Interesting...

I'm having a really bad hit registry in the game. In every gunfight I'm experiencing problems with the hit registry It happens on standing still enemies and even on vehicles, I knew shooting a vehicle white hit markers appear so I tried shooting it from as close as possible for the hit accuracy to be 100% to see if the problem still happens, and it did, some bullets don't show hit markers as well as sound and visual impact (didn't register) . My internet doesn't show any problems on speed test, My MS is stable I have 928Mbps download speed and 116mbps upload speed, In game it shows that I have 57 - 90 latency, , Server: 33ms. and 0 packet loss, how ever it dose change to 1 packet loss for a second every large amount of time. I also watch a lot of twitch and no one seem to have this hit registry loss happen to them. Even my friend was blown away because he said this has never happen to him. Here is a list of things I tried to try and solve the problem: reinstalling the game, installing on SSD, reinstalled Windows 10, changed pc hardware and monitor, changed internet ISP, changed router, changed mouse and keyboard, tried playing on a different account, tried playing on a different server (NA Jericho), and adding a low quality config. These are my main PC specs: GPU: GIGABYTE GEFORCE 1080 TI TURBO 11GB CPU: Intel Core i7-9700f RAM: 2 Crucial 8GB DDR4 2666MHz Monitor: LG32kg850g-b I really love the game I've been around since 2013, and I cannot enjoy the because of this annoying problem I know that if someone knows how to fix, knows what it is, what causing it, has suggestions or whatever that can help, please I would love to get your help with this problem.
