  1. no source ? cuz u're wrong. there is 'support' for gddr6, just get a radeon and u'll see. it's all because of nvidia's bs drivers no need to, that won't fix ur issue anyway. the only things u can do are either playing on the lowest settings or change your gpu for something that isn't an rtx 2000 or gtx 1600 card
  2. imagine thinking LO getting scammed by epic for a half working eac is going to save apb what's logic even ?
  3. from Matt's post : basically LO wanted to get the server side stuff they couldn't get with BE, so they went for EAC and agreed to pay more to have the server side stuff then they couldn't get it (the server side) to work properly after many tries and the head dev at EAC said they didn't wanna put more time and money into trying to find a solution to make that part work so since they were paying for client + server side, LO tried to negociate a price reduction since only the client side was working, which EAC people refused so in the end LO and kamu decided to mutually end the contract tbh if i was paying for something i'd only get half of, i'd just ask my money back idk what's so hard to understand
  4. yikes this thing is over a decade old... did it always do this or did you use to not get any freezes and crashes ? also can you post a screenshot of the error ?

    a small problem

who knows, maybe their router got an update and it fucked the dynamic ip change scheduling idk i know mine updates itself from time to time
  6. what's ur graphics card ?

could also be your router changing your ip if you have a dynamic ip (but usually they do this once a day and late at night so it doesn't bother you too much). if i play at night, each time at 1 am i'll get kicked because my ip changed
  8. Known issue, should hopefully be getting a fix in the future drivers (only affects Navi GPUs (5000 series)). Either use windowed, or alt tab twice if you're using full screen exclusive (if you're doing it too quick or too many times there's a chance you'll crash APB)
  9. i'm curious why u didn't get a 10700k instead
  10. that's not how it works either... that'd be the probability to get one with every stack for 50 stacks P = 1-(1-0.01)^50 = 40% ish @N66 to get at least 1 legendary
  11. 1. make sure u're playing the game in exclusive fullscreen (fullscreen in game settings) 2. if u're using freesync, turn it off it's broken atm anyway (refresh rate is going all over the place) idk about gsync
  12. you're mixing everything up prolly uses less vram as well lmao u should be taking ur own advice bud stop talking out of ur patootie, even gtx 400 series work on dx12 now and most cards support dx9 very well, it's just because they messed up their drivers on turing if u want any game to run, don't get a turing card, simple as that
  13. cuz iz wrong ofc, just like almost anyone nu they mine >:c no u ? actually never tried >144 but i can definitely tell the difference between 120 and 144. back when i only had a 60 hz display, the jump to 75 made a huge difference anything that has a crazy high ipc really been running a 3300X @4.6 with some 3866 mhz ram and i almost always cap at 144 (it's a $120 cpu btw). also the 6700 is slow af
  14. i think this is the dumbest thing i've ever read in my entire life
  15. ty i'll likely know before anyone here if there are issues on these
  16. don't take them seriously then i personally don't have any issues with these cards on apb, and also know quite a bunch of people who don't have any issues either
  17. not every process shows up in the task manager, there may be some hidden processes that will only show up in the resource monitor (task manager > performance > resource monitor)
  18. Oh alright, thanks for the enlightenment lol I've never used Gsync myself because I don't have the GPU/monitor for that but that would explain why they charge so much for it Well I'm using FreeSync which is the RTG 'equivalent' and I have a dynamic refresh rate counter on my monitor, and FreeSync will work on anything that is running in exclusive fullscreen, and some supported games in windowed (typically AAA games). Even though right now it's totally broken accross the board, it just never worked on APB in windowed/fullscreen window and you can feel the game isn't running as smooth as in fullscreen window and can clearly see the tearing, on top of that increase in input lag. It's not petty at all, I hope I'll be able to run the game as I currently am as well. Now if it's just temporary as a workaround I can understand, but permanently dropping exclusive fullscreen support really is a bad idea imo
  19. I'm not entirely sure how G-Sync works exactly, but let's assume it uses Adaptive Sync and works (somewhat) like Freesync. It just will not work if not in exclusive fullscreen unless the game has received specific support for that (officially supported games). Unless APB receives specific support by Nvidia or RTG for G-Sync/Freesync support then it will simply not be usable
