And thats where community policing comes in. If the community cant behave and actually be nice then LO has to step in and make them play nice. Its all avoidable if ppl stopped being toxic dicks.

I agree with not hiding threat however segregation is needed. The curve for APB is so steep its pretty much required as is the need for community policing. Anyone who says this community can do the right thing on its own is shitting themselves, time and time again the proof of how accepted toxicity is in APB is made clear. Breaking tos, cheating, hacking, threat shaming. its constant, accepted and even defended. Change is required from the top in order for the community to finally shape up.

Strict locking golds to gold districts back in the day is what caused the massive dethreating problem we have now. Before then it was a very minor issue but once they started locking all the golds that wanted to curb stomp newbies dethreated and it backfired so bad G1 had to revert the change to what it is now. Dethreating has continued ever since because this community is so toxic and unfriendly. At this point nothing short of community policing will resolve these long standing community issues.

FYI when a event dist empties and your alone with 12 deaths running the match doesnt auto end your forced to wait out the 30 min to have it count as a complete

Sure that populates a silver dist and or populates fc. That small group allows for variety of people to face instead of the same ones over and over.

Some communities are better then others, and theres 0 reason why this community needs to be one of the worst out there. Whoever is still playing obv loves the game and wants to see it live but by being toxic and doing what they are doing they are doing the opposite of that. The number of players wont change so long as the community is like this its part of the problem why pop is so low. The current coding is all messed up and RTW made the code and didnt share any info with G1 about it. In order to create stuff a new engine and code is needed however LO also needs to find a way to bring ppl back now to warrent the new engine and not shut the game down.

Im exclusive to NA, im well aware of the pop issues in the game. Yes steam charts is overall but it does say how poor the pop is on APB as a whole. Ive checked and of the 500 players on APB during NA peak hrs your barely above 100 on NA itself if 100 at all. LO NEEDS to do something now or there wont be a pop when the engine comes out if it comes out. Its been dying since 2013. The point of playing is to have fun and enjoy the game. Its impossible to tho when the community is as poor as this one is. Its saying something when a community like Fortnite is nominated for one of the best communities out there.

So long as LO doesnt tackle the big problems that are driving ppl off the new engine wont save the game. Maby well see an influx of ppl for a time but they will leave when they see that everything else is the same and its just a polished turd. If LO doesnt tackle these issues and fix them asap or have a fix in place day 1 this 6 almost 7yr endeavor will be pointless. Numbers are down and have been going down for quite some time, but ever since they started doing these weapon rebalances ppl have been leaving at a faster pace. Steam charts still works and it is within the margin of error.

That will feed into a bigger server as if I recall right someone in EU can play someone in NA regardless of the region server.

They arent adding any additional servers, just one big server for the remaining pop. And yea we wont see any new players unless afew things happen with the new engine. 1. A VPN can also be used for something called a DDoS, im quite sure everyone here is well aware of those with how frequent they are.. As for the false ban issue nothing is 100% in life humans arent perfect, however LO can def do a much better job when it comes to policing the servers and preventing cheats. They came in, saw the G1 way wasnt working and kept on using it. If it hasnt worked ever why would it magically start now? LO has already stated that the 2 servers are going to be merged for a bigger pool of players to fight

Thats the reason why BE was removed awhile back it was easy to get around (also with a lack of support staff side). As soon as LO returned to BE ppl stopped playing en mass cause they know the floodgates reopened. Anyone saying otherwise is either ignorant or part of the problem. Yup its called closeting, something LO has yet to do anything to prevent and has been around since forever. Heres how you fix that, bar any VPN connections. You either have to connect without a VPN or your not allowed to log in or view the site. A simple universal fix that other countries already use.

Thank you capt obv, like I havent seen all of this since I started playing in 2011. All of this does nothing as to what you said. If the players treated others better in 2011, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20 regardless of the lack of content we would have more ppl playing now then we currently do. The fact of the matter is that the playerbase has been a big downfall of this game for a very long time and all this time everyone says its fine theres nothing wrong with how ppl act in APB. Your statement clearly says that this behavior is fine because its done elsewhere. Its not ok there and its not ok here, just here it has a bigger effect cause the playerbase is so much smaller.

You can EASILY tell the difference between a reroll and a true newbie. Yes 99.99% of low lvl chars are rerolls but that doesnt make it ok to treat a real newbie bad You sound like your trying to make an excuse as to why this behavior is ok Thats not going to save the game. Look at the pop Jericho struggles for 100 players now and LO should have corrected problems that could have been addressed in the old engine 2 yrs ago when we could get 250-300 players during peak hrs. If LO had fixed threat, matchmaking, enforced the TOS and policed the community to behave better maby we would still have most those players. If the community saw the light and behaved better maby wed be better off as well but hey, watch the flaming commence as to how im wrong and all of this is ok.

My point is that accuracy damage is kinda the point of headshots. Headshots deal extra damage obv outside of APB and if theres guna be accuracy damage then make headshots a thing.

Damage scale based on accuracy is extremely dumb, especially since headshots don't exist in APB

Alot of these changes are interesting, mainly love the HVR and the perc nerfs as they were needed. The scout really didnt need to be changed though as its a 3 shot weapon. As it was having CA on + damage dropoff meant you recovered enough hp to where the 3rd shot was required 100% of the time at range. Add to this that there is no comparison to an HVR at range since it doesnt have a dropoff the scout is UP more then anything else. I would have left the scout alone as is given the HVR nerf.
