LO its time to stop hiding this and its time to start showing us your actually trying to make an effort in removing cheaters and hackers from APB. One of the biggest gripes from the community is the lack of transparency as to LOs efforts to clean up the game and make it legit. GMs have no ban power nor do they honestly show any caring for cleaning up the game. They are glofified babysitters and even with them online ppl continue to cheat cause they know they can get away with it. If LO wants to show us they are trying its time to show it. One of the biggest games today PUBG shows weekly ban stats and breaks down the reasons for the bans. Not only that but they release a weekly list of account names that were banned. There are other games out there that also release ban stats so it is very possible LO can do that as well. Nobody here says you have to release account names but you can most certainly release stats like how many were banned in total and break that down as to how many for what reason. This shows us your actually trying to make an effort into cleaning up the game and it would bring some people back who arent playing cause of the hacker problem. It also encourages players to submit player reports as they see you are taking action.

If only we had a threat system that at 5 made you visible to the entire server and used to be able to kill them even if you werent on their mission

Yea. Twice aint worth anything. We both know to understand the game you need at least 500hrs of playtime. Maby he does have a personal account and we dont know it? But going off the decisions hes been making and the shift away from what APB is. I would have to say no he doesnt play nor does he understand what makes APB APB.

Cheating has been a big problem since I started playing back in 2011. The only diff is that now with less players you see said cheaters more. Matchmaking needs an overhaul its a key problem in APB which was made worse by dethreating. At no time should a trainee see a silver or gold or anyone high lvl for that matter. At no point should a bronze see a gold. At no point should the worst threat be harder to get then the highest threat. There are fundamental issues with matchmaking that need fixing for the game to continue. Is what LO is doing the answer? No it really isnt. But at least they are trying unlike G1 ever did. But Matt and the dev team need to play APB for afew years and gain an understanding of the game and what makes APB APB.

Server is still down. What a waste of a day for the event. Gj LO. Not only dont you release the new love weapons but you take the servers down.

Fun fact. The new love weapons arent in armas still despite saying its released

At least this year we get to play with 3 new love guns. Its the biggest (and only) change to this event since it was first released a decade ago. But yea its 2/7 and I dont see any valentines stuff despite the patch

Imagine each seller listing 100 of the same item and there are 50 sellers. For example Nitro booster 3. Youd have to get through 500 listings for it.

I would say the restriction is fine. It prevents the market from being flooded with 500 copies of each thing being sold. Granted now in 2024 with how low the pop is that really isnt an issue but back in the day it did keep things somewhat in control.

2023 roadmap has come and gone and once again @MattScott has failed to keep any promises to the community. Hey Matt just a friendly word of advice. None of us trust you or LO anymore. Youve lied too many times.

Oh yea I know. As everyone here knows ive been very vocal about it for many years now along with the game flaws and it took this long to get to where we are now with the flaws being fixed. The biggest issue (and has been since forever) is that Matt and LO dont actually want to put in the work to squash these hackers. GMs are nothing more the glorified hosts who dont handle issues in game and if you do bring one up they tell you to use the report system which doesnt work. If it actually does work how about some proof it is LO? They need a GM in all districts to watch for hackers and to remove them as well as both client side and server side anti cheat thats actually effective. Last but not least update the game code so that the hackers cant keep updating their stuff. We all know the code was released and thats how the hacks got through so easily.

I completely agree. LO should of had this all ready to go without issue. When the IO Growl was released the lights were useable. There really isnt any excuse as to why they couldnt have this stuff good to go. They could also release an emergency patch to fix this not wait for a future sched maint to fix it. Not to mention the car is a purchase for single char only. If you want it on 3 characters your purchasing it 3 times. One for each char.

Ive never had an FPS drop over time personally. Its always been steady for me but was never the highest due to said lack of optimization. Both win 7 and 10. I just bring up steam and launch the game through the APB launcher.

I would be three but ive barely been playing so I dont exactly count anymore. Not the best player in the world but I can say that ive always been legit.

APB runs like crap on anything cause the game isnt optimized. Its also on highly outdated software that hasnt been updated for newer stuff and the servers they use are low end that really cant handle the game. You will never get APB to run well so long as they dont fix these issues on their end. Ppl have resported to using other programs to make APB run decently but personally I just run APB as itself.
