Maybe it's just me, but I think if a team is clumping up, not paying attention to their surroundings, especially when the opposing team has a remote det equipped, they deserve to get punished. It's the easiest thing ever to avoid. And even if you're caught out of position or you slip up, you can always just start running when you hear the alarm. There's time to get away 100% of the time, unless you're tagged.

I'll be honest: I main remote det as my mod, and I've never looked back since I got it. It's fun as hell to play with, but it's so easy to counter if you just think a little. The first kill, sure, maybe you didn't expect me to have it. But after that, every death to remote det is your own fault. If you see me baiting you from behind my car, don't charge at me by jumping over it. If I can tell I'm about to die, you can be damned sure I'll hit that button. Don't stand next to my car after killing me. If you see my car parked in a chokepoint, maybe don't take cover behind it. If you flip my car, you better move your own vehicle away from it fast. It's really not that hard, it's just that you're not even trying to counter it.

I don't know, I guess I was just expecting better rewards in general. Everything is recycled, and the stuff that isn't, it either reskinned versions of other stuff, or it's not even a part of the loot tables, and I have to buy it on top. Just disappointing, is all. But I agree, scales are the most useful one.

Checked again. I don't have any decal packs from Armas, and I still only have 2 primitives. None of the decals.

You unlocked all those from epidemic rank 5? Do you own KTTC or any of the other packs that include all decals? EDIT: From what I can tell in Discord, the packs unlock most of them, but looks like some are event exclusive. Just more reason why LO should publish the rewards up front instead of this BS.

Hard agree. I've never understood why, surely they should have MORE not LESS customization, seeing as they're more expensive? Maybe it's just laziness. It's probably annoying to have to re-UV/re-texture (depending on their workflow) dozens of skins just to create a new gun. But still.

I opened the mail with the rewards, and I was so used to buying packs of stuff that I thought I got all the weapon skins. I clicked through them to check them out, stopped at the Undedox skin, and hit accept. To my horror I unlocked what appears to be a carbon-copy of the Halloween Pumpkin (I think?) skin, that I already had. Zombicine is basically a slight modification of the purple Halloween skin, and the Necrocite is a slight rework of the yellow color weapon skin. And I picked the shittiest one by accident, lmao. Extremely underwhelming reward to say the least. EDIT: But on to your idea OP, I think the skins should have the logo on them somewhere. That would at least make them slightly different. And we should be able to unlock all 3. EDIT EDIT: Looks like the weapon skins actually have a symbol on them, and aren't exact reskins, at least from what I see in other threads. I only tested it on NTEC, where I couldn't see any symbols.

I'm annoyed with the barrel carrier daily. It literally cannot be done without cheesing it with a friend in a different team. I'm also rather annoyed that I can't get all the 3 weapon skins, and that they are all basically reskins of other halloween skins (or the yellow color one). A little too disappointing overall.

You can try them out yourself. I'll even help you out here and show you exactly what the color are ingame: And yes, I did use premium to build my costume. I don't know about the other participants. But drop the stupid color discussion. I highly doubt I would've even qualified if they didn't think I followed the rules.

Hey guys, I am as surprised as you are. I -really- thought the one that came third place would win. It's confusing to me also. I didn't use any black or red, but the shading is close, I admit that. I posted color codes in the original submission thread. I was gonna jump ingame and show you colors of the actual items, but servers are down atm. git gud Seriously though, I haven't seen volcano spam in the event district so far. And it's easy as fuck to avoid, literally just go the other direction the moment you hear the rockets being fired. Osmaw and HVR are more annoying than the volcano is.

Hard agree. I only go to enemy territory to get my daily done. It's completely impossible to destroy their barrels in one go if even just a single person defends it. Just getting there is difficult as it is, as you're getting shut down by enemy players on the way.

Damn, that daily sounds extra dreadful. At least mine was to deal damage to barrels. Is there any word on how many dailies you have to complete to earn what items from the role?

Yeah, one daily and nothing else to progress towards. No special items, no special contacts, no new roles other than the daily one. Ehhhhhhhhhhhh, underwhelming as fuck

Epidemic mode is broken as fuck, and honestly not very fun. Pumpkin mode would be better, even if I already got all the rewards from it. I dread having to go back to this clusterfuck to do another daily tomorrow.

Pay the same for a gun that I would pay for several, full-length games on Steam. Yeah fucking nah. I had hoped they had finally seen the light and made the pricing fair. Guess not.

Honestly, I have nothing positive to say about this, other than maybe the new UI looks slightly better. Joker boxes are still insanely expensive, and there is still no guaranteed drop of legendary after X boxes. The permanent weapons are still expensive as hell. If the weapons I've been looking at getting have been reduced, I can't tell the difference (or it's not big enough for it to matter to me). I can no longer see days of active premium left. Accessing "Redeem Code", which is a very often used option for me, is harder now. Loyalty Rewards progress is much less intuitive now. I've spent many thousands, and it says "2%". To what? Next reward? Makes no sense. For a guy who kept saying that, from now on, there would be no more updates without testing and user input, this is certainly very disappointing. The so called "price reductions" are the worst part. The ones that got dropped are insignificant, and the ones that got increased is laughable. Certainly does not make me wanna spend any more money than I already have.

I don't know, it kinda does suck banana for those of us who grinded it. That being said, why not make all the stuff available then? I've been wanting the waistcoat for ages.
