If there would be game which APB would be knock-off I would say it's "Saint's Row". Dunno why each time I can't shake off that feeling when playing APB. Also this was year at which people made APB clones so that accusation for me kinda stands (that APB is GTA clone. I mean get used to it, that's how any sandboxish game of that kind gonna be called). We don't talk GTA V, we talk GTA SA, GTA IV and others which were there around that time.

It's you who picked up on this guy playing on lowest. High is DEFAULT option of APB. Question is why he picked LOWEST option then? Maybe because he DID HAVE CHOICE to play at 10-20 fps chugging hardcore or play at lowest and get reasonable FPS. This is average experince when you reinstall that game on every, even newest hardware - every time I have to do fucking tweaks, install APB advanced launcher, gets proper OLD drivers for this game to not run like total asthmatic (of course newest games suffer on that). You talk to me that he have problem with pixels being in lowest graphic. Tell me, exactly what is wrong with picking that out? For what we get in-game, there should be fully-rendered graphic easily and game shouldn't lag every damn second, even on lowest. Every decal is based on max 100 shapes, what is so hard in reading their position, how they are altered and their colors? No, instead decal "fully load" and then get pixelized... to save up what? Memory? You still needed to read how that shape was freakin made. Buildings, cars, players, weapons, even in-game already full rendered skins are also suffering pixelosis, why I ask you? How does that exactly help and in what way? There is litteraly no excuse for what is happening with lowest graphics. Lowest APB Advanced Launcher settings make way more sense as they ignore shapes and simply don't load them. If he would play on that, then this "diss" can stand, meanwhile this game came out with such settings like that, don't use properly resources and you pick up on player playing on lowest, possibly because he was forced to (thanks to how game works, he even crashed few times which is also part of this gameplay), all while this guy doesn't sacrifice "looks" of other games he plays. Also I love that "I played hundred of matches in this game and you should expect that" punchline. If that's entering point you gonna make to every new player of this game, yeah we never gonna have any serious population. I'm done with you.

Lag spikes, single core only support, forced cap on RAM. It's not hard for high end rig to "chug" on that game when it can use only 5% of it's power, desktop in background working seamless.... That's my point. Even you don't use more than 50% of your RAM, try other games, check RAM usage, check how much your CPU works and what part of CPU work it. It's irony when Dual Core 2010 Intel processor can do as good in game as newest i9 or Ryzen processors. And you get dislike for each veteran mention against new player playing game. I already proved my point before - inexperince is excused.

Maybe he followed one of advices since "maxed out" PC rigs can't handle this game at max settings? If you watched intro, you would see he done his homework on game background... What's your point? And yeah, some graphical artefacts happening even on lowest shouldn't happen. Especially taking how much resources game is chugging.

Probably not... you can get better bandwitch from your internet provider but it will still be limited by state of international connections and where this connection which will go through (which is outside your control) and also obviously distance itself... Slow connection surely won't help but if your connections is at 10 mb/s download speed and 1 mb/s upload speed... you really can't do anything.

Themes of APB include: Drugs, also hardcore, illegal activity, usage of guns, implied sexual activity, conspiracy, adult-friendly ToS (nudity is offically ALLOWED in symbols etc.), competitive nature of game and also online play (it is also taken in rating but usually don't decrease or increase game rating on it's own, it's just serves as warning). But honestly this game was probably tested on knee by some goverment agent so he just took glance into game and it was enough for +18... And to add: 2000-2010 was big period of GTA vilifying. Mainly because sandboxes were ahead of their time then and people though that if you can mow people down on street with AK-47, it means that this game is training school shooters. To this day people think that school shooters are risen on brutal video games, not that there are some deeper sociological and psychological problems... Taking that APB at first sight looks like GTA clone, I can imagine where that rating came from. Whole history of +18 rating in game such as APB.

This is first time I saw somebody complain about existence of social district. Are we having group of people actively trying to kill in-game population or what? And if you boot this people in action you think what gonna happen? At best they gonna just drive around and don't do missions. At worst, they simply don't turn on APB since what's the point if they wanted to do stuff in social...

First of all, this morons forgot people use /yell for that. They probably think it makes their offers more appealing. Wrong. I usually tend to ignore spam WTB/WTT/WTS offers. Consoles have specific unprecise aiming with sticks. PC situation is different. Btw. why is this thread a thing. ATAC is pretty balanced in my opinion.

I played Robocraft. Newbie quoue isn't bad but later you get thrown in big water. That's the moment player like me quit. I mean it's all fun and games but if you got some tank-like creation versus drone which you can't reach, all while guns which could be labeled as "anti-air" are locked behind tiers of components. Not even gonna talk how you got limited components which you can use... similiar steep curve where you get slapped if you try too hard. Difference between Robocraft and APB - In APB I got invested.

Have FPS stutter when there is a lot of particles like me while having low FPS. Try aiming with screenshot from few seconds ago and with unresponsive controls. Good luck. (People think the only issue with low FPS is slower framerate bruh...)
