No. Some people enjoy player hosted events. Some people enjoy derping around in districts. Some people enjoyED Vegas jumping to hard to reach places, before OOB was implemented. APB is an open-world'ish game - and one of the most alluring aspects of an open world game is the open world. And this is for many people best enjoyed by not necessarily playing missions 100% of the time while in mission districts. As long as we don't have any districts designed for non-mission activities, auto-kicking to Social for not missioning chase more people away than it will attract.

I miss Tiggs, her moodswings and verbalroundabouts. But I miss ffbans.org even more. That website really showed how Name&Shame will nurture a constructive environment for discussing bans and cheaters, and how Name&Shame will defacto reduce the number of cheaters. Serioously, though. I quite liked Tiggs and ffbans... good fun and good times.

Holy jeebus, the proportions are completely out of whack here... it’s an online game with paid employees and also volunteers, ffs. Keep criminal records, politicians, law enforcers, and ‘state’ responsibility out of it. As far as we have been informed, volunteer GMs have no banning powers. They observe and report, probably with a more direct line to the responsible people at LO than a normal player /report. As for ban history, it was/is interesting related to applicants, because some bans may be disqualifying while other may not. People change, false bans happen, etc. So having a ban should not automatically be disqualifying. Now get a grip on reality and develop a sense of proportion.

This I believe will be the true legacy of APB. Sadly.
