I've had a shit month: health complications, getting cheated on and almost dying. i've had my fun though.

By the time you get to the new mods you've either already built your playstyle arouns certain things or you're already using your resources to buy weekly leases of those mods. MMO progressions are usually slow like that. These games benefit off people playing. Seeing r195 as a goal keeps people playing, the exp gain just makes it so they play long enough and usually buy real cash items along the way. It's flawed. There's no benefit on getting to 255. No reward. By the time you get to 195 you've already made enough APB$ to buy all of those mods, and you definitely got spare cash to buy a low tier legendary.

This is more of a ''fundamental mechanics'' type of change to the game, and seeing how the game functions right now... If I were able to carry a CSG, and FBW AND an RSA/commander/act44/fireworks on top of that... It would be pretty silly. If it's ONLY an aesthetic change, sure. Two FBWs but it shoots exactly like just one. Or maybe with double the ammo, but having 30 bullets would probably kill the use of a single FBW. If it had worse accuracy and longer reload times... could work.

It's going to be muted anyways, so... Though, why not unlock the cap and force the player to choose a 5 second "slice" of audio from the theme to play for your victims? That way you keep both sides happy. One side has the themes muted while the other has more creative space (and muted themes as well because honestly who wants to listen to the piano interpretation of a kid being bashed to death)

Yeah, he just did that properly. Actually he had to download the individual missing .dll because the program wouldn't work. Now it says he's missing DXTCompressor.dl, binkw32.dll and PhysXExtensions.dll, even though they're in the folder

So I tried to bring a friend into this game, and his game doesn't run. He downloaded it from steam, it didn't run, so he reinstalled it a couple times, and still nothing. The thing is, the launcher doesn't open up for him. Any ideas? it's probably just the game trying to prevent an innocent soul from entering the toothed gaping hole

The fact that we still gotta do this shit is pretty funny ngl. I've said it a thousand times, they need to redesign the whole UI+HUD. It's missing a look that actually fits the style of the game, and customization options for the little things. A colorblind mode too. They seem to really like the 2010 dull blocky interface mess.

Most of the times hackers are outplayable. Though sometimes it does get pretty silly. For instance, I was playing last week and I met the only person I'm 100% certain I've seen hacking. Had walls on and some sort of speedhack that looked like twitchy teleporting. That man just came up to the wall where I was hiding, started wiggling and shooting the floor like "hey man, let's have a chat". It was pretty funny ngl. Yeah, we need content. Or ads for the game.

Ahh i was about to say that. Changing topics, I still don't know what the reasoning behind not adding medal milestones is. I'd say "kill milestones" too or just milestones in general, stuff like "drive for a total of 1,2,4,25,50 hours", but we already have roles for the kill milestones, and achievements for the other. Even though achievements are pretty useless.

AAAAAAAAAAA yeah it's kinda like that for some people. you do get to a point way past the childish "man im the best and i gotta show everyone" where you just find a way where you actually play for fun. It's generally a playstyle change. No, if you play normally and you still send rage whispers when you get rolled you're not playing relaxed or for fun. It applies to the whole spectrum of skill. I can tell when they tryhard by the way they still bother to do that, and half of em still do. The rest of the people are nice. Ever played quake? That's one way to improve at any shooter. Shit will feel like building legos after you get used to that one.

There's already enough options for close-mid ranged combat, that's why I tried to avoid that.

I mean, it's supposed to fill in a VITAL role in the gameplay. You just don't realize that my pal dude buddy. I'm honestly not exactly sure which role it's supposed to fill in because it does poorly in any situation compared to literally anything else. One way to fix it would be to not make it a "shotgun" but instead have it as a "hunting rifle" of sorts. Would still shoot shotgun ammo (slugs) but have a... Let's say 65m range, slower rate of fire and higher damage, sort of like a "heavier" scout, with only lower range, mostly for suppresive fire, tagging and finishing off (and still level up Pointman cuz why the fk not that'd be funny man). I could go with that.

You only need a gun and a vehicle tbh. You already know which car, and about the gun... Either an LMG (NSSW, Union) or a rifle (oscar, obeya cr). Maybe a JG or a CSG if you're able to put it to work. Assault rifles are outclassed by other guns for the most part. But I guess a watchman could be good too. As for SMGs and secondaries... Either grab a PMG or save up JT for a Whisper. It doesn't take too long. And you don't need secondaries. The FBW is very solid. You could grab a golden act though.

This is actually an interesting question I'd like to see more answers on. I played up to r195 and then I quit. If the r195 stuff was set up earlier I would have quit wayy sooner. I think most people will agree. (edit: true, you don't just get all that stuff once you reach 195 but by that time you probably already made anywhere from 1 to 2mil from only playing the game, so you can just buy it) There's not much else to get after that. Cars with slots? Meh. Buy all of them and only use the 4x4 or the pio. And now that I think about it, what a waste of cash haha

Yeah so that way whenever someone is not gold or rank > 195 or is just doing bad for some reason or another they'd get kicked. Great idea overall. For any change we make in this game keep in mind that mostly aholes and morons play currently, that's why it is the way it is right now and we have to act with that in mind, to make victims benefit while not pleasing toxic players.
