  1. If that's on the Live version of the client, then that's really odd since I know that hardly any code changes have been done on this client for the time being. But if it works for you, power to you! It's an annoying unforeseen issue that is caused by new cards with new driver instructions that behave differently on different code. (in very simple terms)
  2. The "out of memory" issues surrounding the RTX series of cards will be / are resolved in the Engine Upgrade.
  3. This is unrelated to APB not using the system to it's full potential. Reaching the max clocks across 3-4 different systems I have tried is not possible within APB; but it works flawlessly under synthetic benchmark tests or other games. APB is 10 years old with little to no development improvement over the years. I know what you're saying and I am not saying you're wrong not at all, it just doesn't apply to APB.
  4. I don't feel it needs much discussion it was used to avoid discussion. They clicked a button to portray they were unhappy/displeased or not liking it without actually ever posting. This way you're kinda making people talk and type out there answers instead of mindlessly just downvoting/disliking whatever. Those two links are 200% "noob-friendly" if you were to ask me, I just check them every once in a while if I want to see what's up or browse to a particular section. Even more so after your "How am i supposed to troll now?... " am I happy that they disabled this functionality. I see it as a positive change.
  5. Each person can create a topic anywhere he so desires. It may right it may be wrong, sometimes it gets moved all together. I would recommend you to checking out these sites first before making a thread of the same answer may have been answered before. 6. APB doesn't make use of the GPU much at all so you won't see max clock usage. I would disregard what has been said above as it's not needed to force your card to run higher or at a constant frequency then intended. Even running APB on 2560x1440 only yields only a 23% GPU usage. APB's performance is better scaled on the CPU side of things; with high IPC (instructions per clock) and high frequency (GHz) while APB runs on a 1 core 1 thread idea.
  7. Oh boy. If life were that easy, it would've solved a lot of problems. I highly doubt just dragging it in works.
  8. Hey man I just wanted to reach out to this particular comment, I can tell you that the SPCT members are all people who have a long standing with the game as well as a deep love for the game and want it to be successful. We are players ourselves who don't mind to help test things out or be involved in some of the thought processes. We do not have to agree on what Little Orbit decision is, we do not have to defend whatever they do. If we think it's a bad choice; we'll make our voices heard. Secondly regarding anti cheats, it's always been a selective few people that cheat under both instances of anti cheat. Both anti cheats likely have their own sort of flaw(s) which allow certain type of cheats or advantageous tools to still function. People have no trust in the system, as well as people are extremely bad at 'detecting' cheats. I've always said to leave that entirely up to a system that looks for systems being bypassed or exploited. "even if its obvious that BE is worse than our beloved EAC and the whole community thinks that way beside the delusional SPCT members, just bonkers..." Let me tell you that plenty of us weren't happy with the decision to go back to a anti cheat that didn't work before. But decisions had to been made. Don't forget that SPCT members are also still part of this community, we are not a separate entity.
  9. That's really not the case. Again that's really not the case. Forums get read; notes and DMs all of it is being read. It's just mainly about the % of how many people talk about said problem. If you only hear 1 or 2 voices you aren't going to change because of those either. But I feel like APB has always had this issue where you cannot come to an agreement or people have vastly different views and opinions.
  10. While on the other hand people are saying LO only listens to the elitist. I am confident to say it's equal.
  11. No. APB runs better with high frequency on the cores/threads. APB doesn't benefit from more cores and threads as it cannot use more than 1 core and 1 thread idea currently.
  12. The crash followed by the launcher checking/verifying is intended. However you can bypass this by starting APB_BE directly from the Binaries folder.
  13. >Just use whatever makes you happy or fits the situation you see fit or how you want to play.
  14. Only a matter of time before that is ironed out as well and it'll be better. It's a WIP / beta after all.
  15. My experience has been very different from this. The only stutters you have are from when players enter the district since they are required to be loaded in. (Live does this as well on a slow phase to not stutter as intense) Looks or shaders are subjective just like music taste is and depending on how your monitor (or even your eyes) can be different from person to person and from setup to setup.
  16. Relatable. I like themes in general so I wouldn't mind them hearing the longer version on like MVP or something, that be a neat "feature". Now that death themes are mutable for those who hate them.
  17. I've had enough of your shit. Depending which person you talk to you either get a hope response, which is usually positive and they look forward to future and things. Or you get the pessimistic answer which is that they are negative about anything and everything. The latter seems to be much more common but these people still stick around everything, forums or in-game for some weird reason. I guess it depends which type of person you are. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  18. Plus the Engine was much more stable. But yes about a few percentages lower performance overall compared to last test but that was explained why that was by Matt anyway. Performance will always be depending on a lot (A LOT) of variables and isn't always comparable to x specs versus y specs.
  19. In-game crosshairs (shaders) are not allowed any more. However crosshair overlay's are allowed for now. You can stop overlay programs but you won't be able to stop build-in crosshairs into monitors or even a blue tack mark on the middle of your screen. Matt has made a statement on this as well before. Macro's are bannable however.
  20. Do you even read? No every time you buy a legendary for 7 days for 2500 JT you have a 5% chance to get one perm. Nothing stacks. If you fill the bar it'll give you the weapon 100%.
  21. Disclaimer: those numbers are pure speculation from my part. I don't know how far that works on their end or what they see or know. This is what is my estimation or speculation entirely.
  22. Personally believe in that the Corona situation which gave us a spike in population is now slowly becoming better for most people. (at least in Europe) so Citadel drops in players. For the activity on the forums, I used to not post for quite some time and found a lot of topics not to be relevant to read. Dropping EAC was a choice they had to make which couldn't be done otherwise, else they would. But I disagree in that people see 60%+ as a cheater while the real numbers are in the low 5-10%.
