  1. I think it should be standard practice in the video game industry to disclose odds. I want to see the odds (shut up Han)! Additionally, I wish they would improve the other rewards. I like a lot in your list. I wish you could opt for some small pittance of JTs/in-game cash over weapon trials though. To the vast majority of us, the weapon leases are super useless. Allow us to trade duplicates of anything for JTs or in-game cash. Just make the whole system a little more rewarding/less frustrating. Lastly, there should be a guaranteed Legendary after opening a certain number of JMBs, 50-100, for those with awful luck. From my experience, it honestly feels like the odds are anything but shady. There's what, 23ish items in a JMB? So 1 in 23? That sound's about right based on my experience. The times in the past I've tried for legendaries, getting 1-3 10+2x JMB packs has netted me my target Legendary. My sample size is low though.
  2. JMBs should offer a guaranteed Legendary after so many are opened, 50-100 maybe. I've seen it several mobile gacha style games with this system. Overall I loathe gacha style F2P game systems where a game is P2W. I don't like it in APB either, but hey, I've made the in-game cash so I can ignore JMBs all together. If LO keeps doing a good job though I might reopen my wallet eventually. They are defining what the 'value' is, and that's totally subjective between them and us. It's always gonna be in the grey area as to what's gambling etc.
  3. Pretty sure they've 12-24 months before they can be accused of going down G1's path (looking at you Troublemaker). Chill out though, LO is doing a great job. They may not have done well with the recent balance update, but it's still RECENT, and they're just trying to figure out this game we've been with a very long time.
  4. Only wishful if they fail to revive this game to some sort of profit. I've no doubt in my mind that LO would love to take this game places, realize more of it's potential beyond anything Reloaded was ever capable of. If they don't give up, and they get balancing straight and the DDOSers would leave us alone, I expect a lot of polish could be added to the game, including weather. I'm too lazy to look, nor do I care enough to check references, but I feel like it was mentioned a long time ago that updating the engine would allow them to play with weather more easily if they so desired.
  5. The engine update, if it follows the consoles, will bring us MORE indestructible poles to get in the way of our sweet sidewalk driving.
  6. I definitely think their recent balance update REALLY hurt the game. I was playing A LOT after they reduced server issues significantly, but I've not been on since the day of the balance update. Shotgun meta is NOT what I want to play in, at all. I'm sure the PC release of Monster Hunter World is partially responsible of population drops as well. APB will be a game people return to when they're bored of MHW.
  7. Only 2 years ago? Really? I thought I skipped APB in 2016/2017? Life is just a dream...
  8. It's still funny to me some are defending the Shredder. Gun was obv broken hour 1 of the update. I've not logged in since patch day It's too scary.
  9. I know WASP EU were pretty good players, but in NA, mediocre like the rest of us. There were only 2 WASP bans, for cheating, that I can recall: Slugger and Pastechi. Actually, I'm not sure if Pastechi was WASP? That was a really long time ago.
  10. Pretty sure they said it's temporary as they work on more permanent fixes. They did drop the ball, MattScott said so. They also said they'd fix it and these changes are just temporary. I don't understand why everyone is getting so mad. I do think it would have been better to revert ALL balance changes from the patch until they roll out better stuff though. Shotguns as a weapon class never needed buffs. Is what it is though.
  11. Games have been fairly clean since BE. A lot of big owners seem to have mellowed out and I tend to keep up with most of my op these days. The most cringe match I've had recently was a BTK dude running with an item in an item hold If that's my biggest problem, I'm pretty happy.
  12. Shredder has never been popular; probably a small portion of the active playerbase even own one. I know I wouldn't buy it just because it's flavor of the week, just to see it nerfed. If Reloaded still ran things then maybe, cuz it could take them years to fix.
  13. This balance patch sent a lot of people to Monster Hunter World.
  14. Big owners accused me of paying 50$ to beat them cuz I rekt with Shredder. Yeah, it's a bit ridiculous right now. Trial yours now for FREE!
  15. You've lost your mind, Shredder is definitely way too strong right now.
  16. I don't think the 8th outfit slot is available at this time. Pretty sure I just have 7 on my mains.
  17. Yet the Shredder is now a monster gun, completely ez mode. I was making big owners rage against it last night, "you paid 50 dollars to kill me." That part was hilarious, but is nonetheless solid support that the weapon is indeed broken. PS - I just did the free trial you goofy nerds.
  18. This was a big blow to the fun of the Strife, and nothing was OP about this being a thing. I was shocked when I realized this happened.
  19. I don't think the point is to over-complicate, but to some how bring more viability to lesser used cars in interesting ways. This is the beginning of an idea that could definitely evolve into something more than what's stated here. I'd honestly like to see all cars have a viability, or at least Cisco tier and up? Not sure how I feel about Car Surfer. Maybe the guns you can't hang out windows with would also cause you to fall off said vehicle? That would fix Alig running for instance, but not ISSR running (that hard damage needs to go). May be a step in the right direction going that route. I don't think I like the idea of Car Surfer as an active skill.
  20. I brought this up in another post somewhere today. A long time ago, there was a big Shotgun controversy around how they rewarded half shots TOO MUCH. These changes pretty much undid all of that. I don't think Shotguns needed any changing beyond fixing their general reg issues. Most really good players could still reliably 2 shot people despite server jankiness. Making Shotguns easier to use probably wasn't the best idea.
  21. Yeah I'm getting pretty tired of people using the whole toxic, "wahhh crutch/favorite/op/meta gun nerfed wahhhh so complain wahhh," accusatory comments when that usually isn't EVER the case.
  22. This all amounts to the changes feeling rushed. I have no doubt they'll continue to tweak things, I'm just afraid of things falling through the cracks.
  23. You're not. Hip fire shouldn't any accuracy whatsoever. Still leaves in lucky shots, but it would be more reminiscent of the AWM(AWP) from Counter-strike classic. Doubling the zoom time could have helped too, but I guess it's possible that would be too much of a nerf, I dunno. APB's devs all seem to want to try complicated answers.
