  1. Weird, it definitely feels much easier to 2 shot now than it did before. I remember it being controversial a long time ago that Shotguns were rewarding people too much for half shots. LO basically just undid that.
  2. More play time will be required, but Shagwell tried it, and we versed it a bunch, a little change may have been all it needed to go to top tier. You need to get out of your hole of ignorance. Guess what, these changes and your perceived high ground over these people you're being toxic towards won't make you better at the game.
  3. How come people are getting warned for arbitrary things on the forums but comments like these go unchecked ALL THE TIME? They are incredibly ignorant and 100% toxic. On topic, the problem with the IR changes is the implications on a lot of things that didn't seem to be considered, such as IR as a preset mod changing the functionality of certain guns, often in straight nerfs: LCR, Temptress, ATAC Patroller, off the top of my head. LCR and Temptress were definitely not GG easy meta guns.
  4. I got the same thing from Flight, I thought it was ridiculous as well. /shrug their forums their rules. I'll be a better law-abiding, non-toxic citizen from here on out.
  5. Pretty sure it was. All shotguns were buffed and then they talked about scaling back a few of the OTW changes excluding the Shredder and Thumper I do believe.
  6. I don't know how anyone could be happy with the changes. It changed things all over the place. Some things are better, some worse, some didn't change. No one can honestly say they're happy with everything because it would be a contradiction. Temptress and LCR, for instance, are demoted to bottom tier. Ursus and Ntec are arguably stronger with IR3 than before. Shredder might be out of control. Things are just all over the place. Whole patch seems rushed. If you're happy with the patch, I don't think you're seeing the full picture by any means.
  7. Maybe the Shredder too, seems really strong.
  8. Yeah the Patroller is another weapon negatively affected by the IR changes that didn't need to be. It was directly nerfed with this change; there's no practical benefit to +2m range in exchange for -18% ROF. Changes were definitely rushed imo.
  9. My only probs with the IR changes are the ripple effects on other weapons I don't think they considered like the LCR and Temptress. Reflex Sight STILL hasn't been removed from preset Shotguns and now IR3 is going to be deprecated on various preset weapons like the HVR Akula for instance. I think it all feels very rushed. LO's heart is in the right place, but the current state of things isn't completely ideal.
  10. Jeez Kewlin, this tone is way out of character for you. I can admit that the IR changes and a number of other changes seemed pretty rushed, but hey, they shook things up. There's situations where there's no PRACTICAL difference using IR3 now vs before, but some things are better (Ursus) while others are worse (Temptress, LCR). Shredder SEEMS op as fvck too while we're at it, but its only been a few hours. Also, can we get some proper patch notes that properly outline everything that changed?
  11. Today is Wednesday and tomorrow is the 9th. I'm confused.
  12. I'm scared of change when changes are made for people that say goofy stuff like this.
  13. I agree with this. Literally, set the bloom as high as it can possibly go when outside of marksman. Fixes like all the "problems." I, for one, never thought the HVR needed a nerf besides its quickswitching reliability. Accuracy when non-scoped is absolutely unneeded for the weapon to fullfil its role. I am not a fan of any damage ramp up style mechanics. Falloff is bad enough.
  14. Cool thanks for stopping in and saying something! Sucks this stuff still happens :<
  15. That was all kinds of annoying. Wish they'd stuck to their word. And it wasn't even a matter of wanting the gun to be rare or anything like that. If they simply didn't retire it, it would have been fine too. But to market it as a gun that was going away FOREVER, and then not, was such a bad call. Dishonest af.
  16. Yeah this "gone forever" gun keeps coming back, might as well stay back. Man that was such shady marketing by G1.
  17. Wonder what's going on, hope LO drops the deets.
  18. Now this is a real accomplishment!
  19. While this can be a truly frustrating way to lose, players that do this don't win very many missions, nor do such tactics make them better players. Triksterism brought up the idea that running with items, at least, would gradually increase the speed penalty. That way you can maybe go 100m-200m if you want to relocate, but try to go further and you slow to a crawl, no matter what car you're in.
  20. Welp, all the Yukon complainers can find something else to complain about now. Gun was only viable in super CQC, and was never OP at all. For being so "OP" I barely ever encounter one, and haven't bothered with mine in quite awhile either. I do hope they do a proper balance pass on all Legendaries; they all deserve to be viable and desirable, especially if they want to sell JMBs. Hard damage on that thing is just stupid. Fortunately don't see them much either.
