  1. Nice work! I recommend setting up occlusion culling and not using mirrors or other reflective things. Saves a lot of performance and reduces draw calls ^^
  2. Whatever they are doing, just don't bring back the christmas dump truck.
  3. I'd really want Matt to confirm this publicly.. anyone can edit HTML.
  4. It is indeed a very nice idea, but this will have very bad side effects aswell. I know how the library works, it requires you to create a custom hardware config file which gets submitted every time you login. (This also happens every time you normally launch the game) Whats so bad about that? I assume you'd use a dummy file for your website, since no one is going to submit that wall of text to you + login details. I am not sure how exactly it works, but I believe that data is saved on the servers for a while and will be looked at if there are player reports. When support then looks at the hardware info + IPs from where the account has been accessed, there might just be an insane massban, since to support it looks like all of the accounts are connected. OFC this is worst case scenario, but it CAN happen. My opinion, creating a tool which runs on the owners PC? Fine. Website where hundreds of accounts login from? No, thanks.
  5. I am very sorry about that, the whisper hasn't been changed at all. Kewlin already noticed, for some reason the Whisper variants show up as "WHISPER" instead of "LIVE" which puts them behind the TestA and TestB versions and make the website display the wrong version by default. I'll probably disable the feature once I get to it. Weapon testing seems to be done for now anyways.
  6. Holy shit, are we back at crying because of edited files again? This is the shader dot discussion all over again.
  7. It didn't work properly since the hitreg patch. Sometimes it would show the enemies on the radar, sometimes it wouldn't and sometimes it would ALWAYS show them even if they are not remotely close to the vehicle.
  8. How dare they use security measurements to keep your account safe.
  9. The LMGs are in a very good spot. You have insane damage output (both health and hard damage) at the cost of mobility. They do not need a change if you ask me.
  10. I'd rather have some news on the technical side of things. I don't care about screenshots or videos since the game is not supposed to get graphically overhauled during the 3.5 upgrade.
  11. I'd love to see this too. Maybe even add expanders to the Joker / ARMAS Store.
  12. The Prototype boxes were a reward in the Prototype Baylan Event mission as far as I can remember. They are unobtainable on Live at the moment.
  13. "Yukon nerf" ? It was fixed, not nerfed.
  14. No sorry, the calculation is right, every gun runs through the same calculation. This is a perfect example for what happens when rounding numbers to two digits after the comma... The actual fire rate of the Frenzy is 0.115. I'll increase this specific value to 3 digits after the comma.
  15. This is not 100% right, because the IR changes for burst-fire interval are not yet applied on the DB. Fixing later today.... The above TTK should be around 1.4 seconds (still lower than the HVR) Edit: Fixed!

  17. I am working on a bigger update at the moment. Edit: Database update will come today.
  18. Reading the news on several sites, the game still has to get checked by the USK. I don't have high hopes for this to be allowed in APB and I don't really want to see it to be honest.
  19. I mean.. I simply applied your logic here.
  20. Technically by your logic the OSMAW would require a nerf too. Its one hit kill on all ranges. (Brick only after about 20m I believe) and the rocket also does not drop down over time making it easier to hit targets.
  21. Hello @LO_Beastie this might be a bit offtopic since this thread is more about the current changes to the weapons on otw, but something that always interested me is how the curves for damage drop offs are being calculated. A quick example with the formula would be very appreciated, in case you got some time ofcourse.
