no good players are on right now. and the one's that think they are, are on the forums upvoting their own posts between fight club matches

say LO makes a change to something and players are inclined to make a ticket after...but those tickets are nothing more than general questions that should hog up the support queue. are there key staff members on the forum a user can contact to either get a simple answer? I know this might cause the same affect on the forums, but my thinking is "should I bother support with this or not". obviously, for example, i think no changes to user data should happen until the number of support tickets in the queue is low. This is because, when G1 had a lot of tickets, they didn't give lots of tickets the attention they should have deserved and issues were just instantly closed (not talking about ban related tickets). i hate to see this happen again given the queue is currently high.

seems like a huge issue that shouldn't happen. possibly avoided by using paypal or another similar service, but might be because of direct cc usage. @Majiik

thats why there was a report function. if you actually took surveys, youd know which ones were legitimate. the system was also updated to not have the scam surveys present as much (peanut labs section). the broken survey section underneath peanutlabs has been disabled since like nov 2014.

up until yesterday's site maintenance, surveys were available to us to earn small amounts of G1C. they are now gone. any plans for it to comeback? this no longer works: https://checkout.gamersfirst.com/offers also, what about pending survey transactions? @Lixil

I understand. But that's the point of the search function. plus, this thread is still in the wrong section and causes unnecessary clutter, noise, and takes attention away from threads that are not suggestions and actually discussions. You aren't the only one in the wrong. while I pretty much sound like a backseat moderator at this point, its (from a forum standpoint), just something that clearly has a structure and people are failing to follow. as for the threads mentioned, the sections are there for the LO to quickly look at rather than rummaging through hundreds of posts in the same section. Think of it like flairs on a decent subreddit. those threads obviously have been looked at by people given the reactions and views alone. one shouldn't try to circumvent forum structure to generate a response from LO. the organization is there for a reason and all you are doing is going against that because you didn't want to follow it. lust clearly did it twice, now I'm using her threads as an example to make a point out of you and derail this discussion. You can easily just request this thread to be closed and just bump her threads btw...you can be the first reply. since 2011, devs rarely post on suggestions as is...plus her threads were recreated from the old forums...which did have a ton of discussion...but G1 never did anything as we all know.

is there a forum role for correct section usage? how are some people able to understand the point of the suggestions section? Is the search function non existent? surprise surprise, there happen to be similar threads on this anyway (in the right section from the start)! have the discussion there. joker hipster outfit in the joker store is probably the best value and a very clean look. plus, lots of it can compliment or inspire other piece of clothing bot included (seen a lot of uses by different players in game). few other ones are in the joker store as well with mannequins that model it. believe @LUST made th joker hipster.. but yeah, all preference

customization has caps for a reason and upscaling low res symbols will obviously look worse than those made in high.

consolidation. Sub forums in the right parents, additional checks in the thread creation process (to reduce low quality posts in general, think flairs on reddit), remove redundant sections.

yeah, we are pretty dumb. and while mods can move threads..they could effectively reduce that even further if the forums actually had organization that made sense..or had actual checks at the time of post creation.

while this may be ironic...there are a lot of posts in social discussion that are nothing more than suggestions. actual discussions are being buried under this mess and the arguable mess of low-quality posts (also in the wrong section) please move these threads to the right section or at least add the suggestion subforum to the social discussion section. thought there were mad squids 20 here.

thats a problem with the rep system. if merging forum accounts is because of something petty such as that..that is beyond stupid. There were already forum suggestions just to remove reputation from view, it serves no purpose and almost nothing comes out of it. for instance, no matter how many top posts OP had on the previous forum, none of it was even discussed within G1 (other than naming the Russia server Nekrova lol). @Lixil anything about this yet? Or are we going to continue speculating and have me and the people in this coffee shop share a forum account?

hate to see this discussion buried and the changes to forum accounts just forced on us. Stepping stone to the first wave of unpopular changes. while its just the forums, there's already no control users really have here and there is so much location and account data stored just on forum accounts that we cannot opt out of. at what point should we be concerned about our privacy? not sure what merging forum accounts solve.

Honestly don't see the point of that, why would I want to share a forum account with my roommates? Never seen a forum do that.

there is talk about merging people with multiple accounts...not sure why this is being pursued because it will likely be a disaster. forums you cant have multiple accounts to evade or breaks forum rules, are they merging forum accounts? What about us who are on shared networks? Or are they merging multiple accounts in-game? Same thing. Nightmare approaches. also, apparently if you played hoplon you could have claimed a name there that was reserved in jericho to pretty much hijack the reserve system.

its the opposite now that negative is removed. there are people on this very thread abusing the positive portion. Less than a month in, and some of these people really are desperate to be liked.

you can end Battleye Launcher in task manager but it lets you continue playing the game. why isnt this a huge problem? id expect it to quit out apb as well @MattScott @Lixil
