Balancing Due to ballancing in a PVP game is hard and definitly if a lot of the population is kinda gone. Veterans wil have an advantage over every stage when they are compared to a new player. and thats something that can't be helped in every PVP rotated Game. due to the focus of Small missions and witnessing the time spam where a person can stay alert. i chose for the Witnessing Games as a focus. i don't feel like 1 game needs to take 4 hours to complete. deffinitly not what im looking for. balancing them with rules can only be a hassle but with the test that i focused on i feel what i written down as rules is enough due to watching how long a game can only take. a crim starts with a package but a cop chooses when they start - so the reflex of a cop can be faster. its something that i can't change but maybe if LO sees this as a possibility to create somethign out of this. they can maybe make an intresting gamemechanic out of this event in the future. if that ever would happen. Mission Focus due to choosing for this style of gameplay is that teammates can group up and find a strategy for protecting there spot or the opposition spot. i made that every spot in the game triggers to the same spot to deliver so its possible for people to learn there steps. ( sadly enough i couldn't test this enough but i seen some games ending up in a draw.) so i think its stil possible to make intresting matchups. Right now I feel like It's now or never to create scrims for APB. Seeing that APB is losing players left and right and people are getting bored playing against eachother, I feel like Scrims can maybe be partly a solution for APB's population decrease. What are Scrims? Basicly Scrims are Witnessing games where people will face eachother from Criminal side and Enforcer side. In April 2020 I started this topic There I tried to create a tournament where people would think of different ways to how tournaments could work. One of the ideas I had was making a tournament based on Witnessing. Witnessing is a different way to play the game. This is a capture the flag gamemode in apb. The locations for these games have been decided for Waterfront and Financial. Due to rule complications and different views on what rules should be for competitive gameplay, I have been talking to several people about finding the best rules for the Scrims. Therefore the rules for Scrims are a bit less than other Competitive tournaments that have been hold in the past. Rules: - No Less than Lethal: This would give a big advantage to Enforcers as they give the criminal a double setback where people can't respawn in time to get to a certain point. - No O-PGL: Due to Nadespamming i feel like the O-PGL wil make this game never end. therefore al O-PGL kind of weapons are not allowed to be used. (legendary guns Hammer, Impact, etc but also Stun O-PGL - No car surfer mod: due to being able to sit on cars with certain guns. and allowing an osmaw. i have decided to not accept any car surfer mod at this moment. - Maximum of 1 longrange (sniper / osmaw): This is a rule i needed to add becous of to much Obeya usage and other stuff. 1 sniper a team limits the team to a ceretain point. also we are allowing Osmaw and Vulcano as the only 2 High explosive guns and wil be also considered Long range weapons. - No Player car within 50 meter of startingpoint. - Teammates arent allowed whitin 25 meters of starting point. Gameplay: - 3 player games: Due to the time laps of only 5 minuts the game wil be played with a party of only 3 people. - Casuals wil play best out of 3 - Competitive wil play best out of 5 - 1 Criminal wil go to a certain street to make him witnessable. 1 enforcer wil be acompanying him to be next to the criminal. - First person who gets the item to there base wins the game. Point system The point system that we are going to use for APB scrims is called Swiss-System Tournament. What is a Swiss-System Tournament point system? A Swiss-system tournament is a non-eliminating tournament format that features a fixed number of rounds of competition, but considerably fewer than for a round-robin tournament; thus each competitor (team or individual) does not play all the other competitors. Competitors meet one-on-one in each round and are paired using a set of rules designed to ensure that each competitor plays opponents with a similar running score, but does not play the same opponent more than once. The winner is the competitor with the highest aggregate points earned in all rounds. All competitors play in each round unless there is an odd number of them. due to having 2 teams we wil have to change and bend this system a bit to be able to work. APB has 2 factions. those 2 factions wil have there own Tournament going on but they wil be playing against the opposit faction. if the crim faction team wins they wil get 2 points. if the crim faction team loses they wil get 1 point if the crim faction team draw they wil get 0 point at the end of they tournament if there is an execo. We wil check How much Turns each team needed to win. Швейцарская система — Традиционно для получения наиболее объективного результата турниры проводились по круговой системе, в которой каждый участник играет не менее одной игры с каждым и победитель определяется по сумме набранных очков. Но в круговой системе с увеличением числа участников требуемое число встреч быстро возрастает, поэтому её применение при количестве участников более двух-трёх десятков становится нереальным. the login is nostalgic. i use it every week in my maintance streams. but i got also fond memory's of apb. and thats going to stay .

fallen earth is a brand that i personaly never enjoyed. for me its wierd to say that i got no problems if the game doesn't exist anymore. but compared to apb its also a game that some people loved to play. with apb having a bit more population than fallen earth had. i feel like they at least can put a donation goal on the website where people can pay to play on the servers.if that donation goal is not met for the month the servers wil shut down. thats the way i would see it.

i m from the apb community and talking about APB things most of the time but seeing this pop up on the fallen earth i feel like this community is a more vaster community than APB is. if it was a possibility i would like to see you guys be able to play your beloved game back. even if it was run on a server where u guys can pay for the rent. but that said good luck on your petition

personaly i would not like to rework my character that i worked on. but that on the side and also to notify that they can't build another APB Brand becous they sold the name to another company they kinda are stuck. but if the possibility was possible i doubt LO would be able to create a game like this from scratch. Your purpose is intresting and what it takes to build a game would definitly take a while to finish. if a game like this came out and was worthy i would directly play it. whitout any care.

we had some content creators who wanted to do some stuff like community focused game creation. i feel like its a good idea to do that but i doubt it wil happen before the engine upgrade or even ever. right now we have the SPCT hitting the hammer of what can change and what would change.

its not happening even if we wanted it. servers wil be a mess if the engine upgrade comes. some wil return but i doubt we wil see a huge change to the population. but i hope with new content after upgrade we wil see a change in the game final.

The trust in people is not in apb anymore. to much people who go to silver servers who don't trust golds try to detreath and go to brons servers where they know that they can win and have fun . the mentality is not going to change at all even if we get more people in the game.

i see the project being finished ... but its on 1 or 2 different ways ... 1 Closing the game and its servers 2 is finishing the project of the engine upgrade in 2022

let us just say that this game became at some point a barbie game. where the game is literaly protected by the Company but not maintaned by its owner with the right people managing it. i personaly am frustrated to see this game die. but i aint a belever that this game wil survive after the engine upgrade. i stil enjoy the game as i played it in 2014
