From my experience trying to let my friends play this game and they quit very fast. They said smart game doesn't have head shots. How many of them play today z e r o.

Ever tried to play APB at its highest skill ceiling possibilities? Imagine playing 2v2 against rooq and melocide. At best you can take one out and the second one will just kill you like trading. this game has reached it max skill ceiling a long time ago. Now it's only depended on objective location,spawns,low yield/nade spamming and car game playing. So it doesn't matter how good you are your damage is limited and they know that and people will know how much they can tank so no risk in pushing in since you are 1 or 2 shot anyway. 0 chance to fight back unless your lucky and the opponent potato aims for some reason. So don't come here to tell me it's a skill issue.

Hello this is probably one of my first serious posts. I love APB don't get me wrong been playing since 2011. But i see people keep telling that the Engine upgrade is gonna make this game be populated again like when it was relaunched. But the game mechanics we have now are out dated and doesn't fit 2019 standards. People will try the "new" APB and leave again because the gun play is just stupid in my opinion. The gun play is pretty shit after playing proper shooters past years. What i want to say is that the current gun play is just bad. Kills don't feel satisfying you can cheese this game hard with stupid load outs. Aim in this game isn't rewarded because every body part is the same damage. Weapons should be reworked and body part damage should be something so you can actually maybe clutch in a 1 vs 2 situation. Here i said it this game should have head shots [maybe more damage on head or something not 1 shot ] you guys/girls are probably gonna disagree. But hey there is a reason you guys still play because you like it ;). I know this is probably never gonna happen because there are to many weapons in APB. I don't think a lot of new people will stick to this game after the engine upgrade is released because of this. Also can you give me a good reason why not to change the gun play in this game instead of just being edgy thanks.

Goodluck the current game mechanics are trash in 2019 standards. But everyone is opposed to changes. Because there is a reason they still play this game because they love how aids it currently is and don't want any changes to improve the games. All these veterans don't know how to improve this game for shit they only care about the engine upgrade and think it's gonna bloom new life into it. Engine upgrade doesn't change how shit the gameplay is and all the new people that are gonna try the new "APB" will leave in a week or so.

This game isn't only about winning but having fun and outplaying people with LTL is fun

True i am also happy that they are doing great. And in June 2018 a lot of people came back but left again after the Shotgun buffs that took 1 month to nerf and population went back down where it was.

Ryzen is good for all around gaming but apb really loves high clock speeds that's where Intel wins with APB. I had a i5 2500k running at 4.5 ghz and i got mostly 100+ FPS back in the day.

Nah you are not the only one. Game used to be fun and you where able to use any weapon in the game since everyone didn't car game play and use meta guns\Low yield ammo box spam. Since this game is just left with people that do everything to win and you have to use the same try hard meta load outs to compete this game has become very boring and uninteresting. I am just holding off for the engine upgrade and if that flops i will sell my PC and move over to the Nintendo switch :^). IN MY HONEST OPINION

Ignore his posts that dude only farms forum posts. Last time i played against you you had a random low rank blatant wall hacker with aim bot. BE will be enough for most cheats. But knowing APB cheaters they are a pest and some of them probably will go so far to develop their own or pay huge amount of money to make a private cheat that will never get detected. Believe me this is gonna happen seeing the same cheaters go blatant for YEARS and getting banned every 1-2 years and having a huge ego.

Battle eye is fine but we got the shitty one with 32 bits that doesn't work in 2019. It will get bypassed like there is no anti cheat. But other games with the up to date Battle eye i have seen cheaters very rarely.

A normal game with good balanced weapons and 144 fps stable.
