I've played a lot of APB and I am friends with a lot of people who have played a lot of APB. Many of whom have quit the game. some of their reasons are big and hard to fix but some are smaller and not at all too much to ask for. -It takes too long to level. (I don't think this would be too hard to change. Just increase how much XP we get as mission rewards. The game has drastically less players than back in the day, so missions are farther inbetween and leveling takes longer. when I hit max rank in like 2015 I was at about 800 hours on 1 character. Which is entirely too much and most people don't ever put that much time into ANY game. let alone a single character.) not even max -Not having a contact in a specific district (Though I am aware this one will be disputed because it would make it so 1 map is obsolete most the time, I do feel there is people out there who may have quit because they got tired of that endless wait for financial east to populate. This change would help with my first point as well. That 800 hours of leveling was when i had option of playing waterfront or financial at like all times of the day.) -Buffing bad guns, leaving "good" guns alone (An issue I and others I have spoken to are having is that we have played this game for so long that we have played the same guns over and over. This is largely due to the fact there is some guns that are just not viable and its not due to the fact that NTEC is just drastically better, because it isn't. Its due to the fact that a handful of guns have been nerfed and buff so many time while the others remain the same and left in the dust. I feel that buffing these less used guns would add some spice to the lives of the remaining playerbase.) NO point in even taking them out -Arma/ingame rewards for forum activity and testing activity (Over the years we've seen many changes to the game and most of those changes were not at all what the community/game wanted or needed. I've thought about it for a long time and even spoken to others and we feel it is due to the fact that only a very small fraction of the community actually comes on the forums and responds to suggestions and questions (some of the people who respond DONT EVEN PLAY the game anymore and just enjoy posting on the forum because they have friends and such.) In OSRS they have polls, which is an ingame way of voting on changes the devs are going to make. Another idea would be maybe giving clothing/currency/cars/guns/JT/titles for those who vote.) -Slotted secondary weapons (Another one that people might not agree with, BUT I do feel it would add some spice to the gameplay.) -Reward and promote content creators/streamers (The APB community has some very creative and cool people in it (also some horrible ones) and they all stream and create videos. They upload these videos and those videos get more views than the game has active players. This is FREE ADVERTISING. Utilize them, embrace this and do what rust did. Rust and other games literally have stuff in their games named/designed around their content creators. I recently played a game and they literally promote their streamers ingame on the menu screen(I'm aware something like that would need engine upgrade) but its still an idea.) -The tutorial still sucks (The tutorial teaches people the basics(kinda) but it just throws them in and doesn't help them with things like what mods are best for a gun/character/car. I've seen people with high-mag scope on an OCA and think its their fault they're not killing their enemy who "has the same gun" as them. Also give more rewards from the tutorial, these people need like 100k by the time they're done with the tutorial. The tutorial give like 1k which gets you like 1 shirt and a haircut.) -Reducing civilians and civilian vehicles (The game and server don't run very well sometimes, The reducing of how many civ cars and civilians on the map will allow the server to put those resources else where.) -Parked civ cars ( Making it so some of the civ cars are parked and not moving would also help with server performance.) -Quality of Life shaders/config features (Currently a big debate is configs and if or if not they're unfair, I am personally in the mindset they are not. But, many do not agree, which puts them and new players at a disadvantage, either because they do not know how to put it in, fear being banned (because of the next person ->) or they have these principles where they refuse to do anything that isn't clearly allowed. I feel like adding some of these things into the game itself would help.) -Embracing and rewarding player made guides (There is some good AND in depth guides made by players. Put them ingame) These are just some things that could help. Anyone who has any ideas they would like me to to add to this post, please comment them or dm me on something and I'll add them @MattScott The game is dying but not dead, people come back all the time. Make it easier for us to progress and play.

Good Morning San Paro This is the collection of best (and worst) suggestions, there are a lot of topic about them, but i prefer keep it all in one. Mission "Gold-Whale": the purpose of the mission-concept is to use the existent AI inside civilian vehicle/character ,already able to find a path around city or detecting player and aim them, ,giving them an active role inside a missione How it works: An heavy armored truck spawns and is going to reach a very far zone in the map. after a bit, an alarm signal like bounty alert appears in district or only to a random team/group/player. the truck will be equipped with an npc surfer,with a random strong OP anti-vehicle weapon ,its health will be regulated like a KV3+CA3 benefits, and aim will work like the civilian detection (they turn head if u are near, so increase the value should give an input for shot & aim too) The goal is destroy the truck, (setting its mass upper to 1000*normal truck should avoid break its path following) With damage car crash ,bomb or fireweapons. (opponents can get in missionfor save the truck ,if ,and only if, the truck get a certain amount of damage or after a certain amount of time after first blood/damage) When the vehicle is destroyed the first goal is reached. (mission ends when item is delivered to safebase,no time limit, if there are no opponents) If there are opponents ,team have to deliver an item dropped by destroyed supertruck to a safe house , before opponents get it and deliver to their enemy base. (like classic system, but without large time for item-hold ,deliver first==win) random reward could be deployables,joker tickets, or also a "Key Truck" a deployable that allow player to drive itself the truck if is in defense team during this type of mission, or ,if is attack team is possible deploy a "E-Guard" that works like an automatic turret for shoot the target crossing the path. Deployable Roller Blade: it allows for 30 seconds to give to character the same physics type of a little ,fast, light, vehicle,the ramming power is limited, brake sys is very low too. when equiped (F), player can literally skate, also on ramps. canTperform action or use any kind of weapon, shoot, climbing or complete object. should not be hard to do cause is simple an object with same propiertyes of a vehicle, the few difference are the size, and a little set of animations, just for moving. when the player "dress"the rollers is like inside a vehicle, but littlest. Homerun!! If activated as orange mod with key 5 ,it allow for 3sec to bounce back any 8 ball / Half brick back ! time for cooldown 30 sec / 1 minute Add an Animation could be cool. Reduce the cooldown to 2 sec / 5 sec could be a nice mini ball game between 2 user with this amazing mod. Miranda Law: « You have the right to remain silent. (only for enfo) How it works: Enfo stuns a Crime Near the stunned crime, Enfo press 5key for active the mod (crime is arrestable too during attivation) All the opponent's team is spotted on Radar at every distance for 5-8 seconds! Pros: Spotting enemyes better than Dogfish. Cons :requires great cooldown, Enfo with this mod is spotted on enemyes radar during activation. Tactic Broken Bottles. (only for crimes) Like the fireworks or stereo, but with parallel fuctions: Type:Grenade (3 for equip) How it works: Crime launch the bottle (obvious silent on radar when used) When the bottles impact the ground,cars or walls create 1 single fake target on radar for 10-15 seconds) if bottle impact directly an human target deals +-10% damage, +-40% stamina Pros : Fake target, amazing sound, 3 bottles combo is a stun weapon for crimes Cons: Somebody could drink them instead of launching. V,IV,III,II,I How it should works: Enfo interact with Fkey to a citizen (it works also without the tool, but very slow), citizen begin to "talk" with enfo. If a crime is nearest to 100-200 unit is spotted for 5-8 seconds (icon of handcuff will be shown too, if active) if the crime is nearest to 30 unit witness mission automatic starts. time for gain the spot depends by grade of tool (I,II,II,IV,V) like other tools. Is treadable. new titles! new ranks! \^--^/ Could be cool and avoid the insane advantage of crime and balance cop's finance just a bit. Repair ToolBox (suggested before BLOWTORCH release, but still useful) when activated, all vehicles near player are under fixing for 10 sec max. (player is hold like ammo bag open) time for reload = 3 minutes Fast Check In: when activated allow to shooting with secondary while carrying medium items, or opening doors for 10 sec, deployable after 3/4 minutes Posted 18 June 2013 - 11:44 PM someone did this suggestion too? Just curious, there's a lot of nerf threads spawning everyday, but wouldn't you guys rather buff something you currently use rather than nerfing what others are using? Just saying. Here's an example, buff the trunk space in my Coywolf so I can run ammo depot and still carry a briefcase :) You may now debate why this is probably a bad idea (even I think it is to an extent, doesn't mean I'd cry if they did it though) EDIT: I think it's a bad idea because the Coywolf is already fast, agile and carries 4. Being able to carry items (without having someone hold it in their lap and thus preventing them from shooting out the windows) kinda seems like it'd be a bit too versatile. My current garage has: cars that are fast but carries 2 persons and up to 1 large item trucks/suvs that are slow but tough, carries 4 persons and enough truck space to carry 3 large items for those really annoying pick up missions (or the 5 medium items in Creme la Crime) a van for ram raiding and finally, the Coywolf, if this could also carry items in the trunk while having 3 shooters and enough speed to outrun some other cars... seems a little much.
