  1. Yeah I don't see why /who needed to be changed. I actually used it frequently to see how many people I knew were in a district but now that's useless. Revert pls
  2. I'm still wondering why a rollback wasn't done on IR3 and shotguns. The HVR and other weapon changes seem fine but I'm surprised that it's going on 3? weeks and not a single thing was done about it other than an underwhelming "shotgun nerf"
  3. Personally I feel like the now-removed GM power boxes were fine and wish they'd come back. But I would be fine if they at least changed it so that instead of random guns or vehicles being sent, you'd get a choice like you do with the tutorial weapon reward selectors. That way if I get a green or blue or purple I can actually get something in return that I want that would actually benefit my play experience rather than another 12 days of a gun that I own a perm of, or another Vegas Gumshoe.. it's been years and hundreds spent and I still haven't gotten that 4 slot Fresno.
  4. No, don't let them bring people to my secret AFK spot. That balcony overlooking the district is gonna be mega purrty when engine update comes
  5. From my experience on NA Server it seems most people dress up as skimpy mamacitas or emo edgy guys in hoodies or scarves that are pure black (Darker/medium greys are actually the better color for stealth than pure black is) with gasmasks or long emo hair / etc. Then there's the uber buff guys like this. Nothing wrong with a strong bro though. Chad's are love, Chad's are life. HashtagmakeAPBmanlyagain
  6. I haven't used the Coroner much but at least on the IRS you can bypass the added recoil by tapfiring it like you would a DMR. I agree that they should both have the movement restrictions removed though. I never understood why it was a thing in the first place since having no speed penalty would explain why they lack the power that the DMR has.
  7. That was APB 8 years ago. This game probably would do better with a P2P model assuming the company could find a way to still profit with it
  8. Thank you for mentioning the Strife. I was stoked for the shotgun patch hoping my Strife would get buffed but now it got nerfed without actually getting buffed when it probably needed a very slight buff more than anything. I dun got played Time for tears, beers, and binging Kansas Wayward Son until my pains go away
  9. Anyone notice that the Joker Store Manic uses the wrong model? Seems to be using the Frenzy's model. I'm actually okay with this though.
  10. I love pretty much all of this. Can't wait to see the next wave of balance changes. Gonna have to see how much Strife handles now as I forgot to test it on OTW. Much appreciated homies
  11. I'm glad that it looks to be majority opinion in this thread that the Deep Impact is the best one. I'm big on Grenade Launchers in games and I've used all three a fair bit now and feel that the Kickback and Hammer, IMO, are just wastes of good weapon models. Personally though I want them all to be reskins of each other for the sake of removing redundancy. Change the Kickback and Hammer to function the same as the Deep Impact and from there they could give it a damage system similar to the Volcano where the further the explosive travels, the more damage it does. So the EOL would function the same that it does right now in short-med, but past that it could start 1-hitting people like the OPGL does. Because of the single shot nature of the Deep Impact I feel that being able to 1-hit people at longer distances is fair as the OPGL can already do that while also having four times the amount of shots in a shorter amount of time. Or. Something like that.
  12. I'm actually super excited about the attention given to the LCR. But it brings up another question. Since the LCR is getting attention before so many others when it isn't even available anymore, does this mean that there's plans to bring them back to Armas? I accidentally deleted my Old Glory while cleaning out like 48 pages of 3 day guns that built up over the course of 7 years and from what I've gathered support can't re-send guns to me unless there's an Armas entry for them, or something, Anyway between the LCR update I'm actually liking the sound of those Improved Rifling changes so far
  13. I'd like to see the LCR PR1 and 2 & Old Glory all kept retired and then for a 3 slot version to be put up. Also give the hipfire accuracy a small buff. I'd buy it a third time just for the 3 slot version
  14. Buffs are absolutely NOT needed for JD and BM. The Hitchhiker could maybe use a slight buff but the two others would be ridiculously overpowered if they got any actual buffs. I mainly use the Jersey Devil and at first I was not impressed at all. But then I forced myself to learn it. I was surprised because apart from the slightly higher ttk it feels like a primary SMG and now I have little to no trouble bursting it to use the range before the 30m dropoff. I honestly liked it enough that I sold my Nano. The UL3's do not need buffs because if they did get buffs, and all of the people who are under the impression that they're useless find themselves having reason to use and learn them, we'd have a bunch of people running around with what are effectively two primary weapons and that would cause a big ruckus
  15. Urban Camo skin looks good on some of the guns in the pack but I also want NORMAL WEAPON SKINS. I just want basic grey and whatnot. Not the random colored lines that you're FORCED to use on them which was such an odd design choice on the old art teams part especially since they even went out of their way to make alternative skins for every gun which are just green and yellow blobs of spaghetti, or something. Urban Camo Strife is still gorgeous at least.
  16. Started as Crim back in OBT, changed to Enforcer a while after, didn't go back. The game just feels funner to me as Enforcer. I always wanted to play as the "good guys" on games like GTA and I like games like Sleeping Dogs that do let you play the justice role. The little details in APB like sirens and how your character will be more gentle or even show their badge when taking a civi vehicle is also a neat touch and gameplaywise I find it funner to try and shoot around civilians rather than just mow them down like they're not there. This game would be a little less interesting if it was just criminals vs criminals. I'm glad it didn't go that route
  17. Sounds like a mix of lag and Clotting Agent 3 tbh. On occassion your HP regen will start at the right time and let you survive shots you wouldn't have a second ago. Or probably just lag. Maybe 25% lucky HP regen timing and 75% lag. So yeah. Get a proxy that goes through a derelict Kenyan shack that's on 56k dial up and you will be MLG
  18. At least on Jericho FFA R&D and Yukon go for 5m+ Both assault rifles aka Ursus and Condor are 2.3-3m'ish An Ogre is like 3.5m AAEPD is like 2.3m? or so Past that most guns fluctuate between 500k-1.2m-ish. These are just the averages I've seen the past two months on the USA server. Not sure about EU or RU prices
  19. Hello this is my idea to change the EOL's to be more of a viable alternative to the OPGL; -Make them all reskins of each other so that they all function the same -2 grenade capacity for all of them -All have 1 mod slot with same ammo reserve -Hipfiring the EOL makes it shoot percussion grenades like the hammer -Marksmaning it makes it fire concussions OR, for an alternative method of choosing which type to fire: -Charging the shot = it shoots a concussion -Not charging = it shoots a percussion, with the wind-up requirement removed (Maybe?) This means; -Kickback yolo spam isn't a thing anything anymore -More versatility and all EOL's are on the same level without having to waste time rebalance all three individually
  20. Me and my friends also just stop fighting the opposition and start to mess around when the other team runs with an objective. Nothing fun about it especially when you're at the point where you don't care if you win or lose at APB. I've also noticed from my experience that a lot of people who run also complain and make fun of others for running when they're the ones being run from which is just mind boggling. But yeah. Like Cookie said, letting your opp waste their time driving in circles around a fictional city while you go do other things is a great way to deal with people who run. They're staring at their screen mindlessly driving around while you can go take a short break or eat some bomb spaghetti whatever.
  21. I think one of the main issues is how Sony and Microsoft both require patches to be approved and probably wouldn't want a second APB on their stores anyway, especially one that won't make them any money. That and I wouldn't expect enough actual feedback from testers on it to make it worth it
  22. I always get stun in 2 o_O Is it because I use Kevlar? Kevlar only gives you more health, not stamina. Players have 1000hp and a DMR does 400 hp and stamina per shot. Kevlar 3 adds 300hp so if you're using kevlar 3 then you're going to have 100 hp left after 3 shots but zero stamina meaning it'd be a stun
  23. Did you talk bad about the furries and bronies on the game? lol Would be pretty lame if this was the reason tbh. If I can rip on people who dress like anime characters and have anime symbols then they should be able to rip on me too. Isn't that one loading screen tip that flat out tells you to taunt your opponents still in the game?? Anyway at least under old G1 support I got banned out of the blue over something silly once too. Support told me it was a permanent ban until a GM pm'd me explaining that it was actually only a 3 day ban. OFC that was old support and not LO support but I hope you get it fixed soon. If not then maybe try tweeting or commenting at them on Twitter or Facebook because sometimes that seems to work, sometimes.
  24. Yeah they did mess up the CQC ability but apart from that they gave it more ammo and made the blast slightly larger. I adjusted to it pretty quick because back in my Osmawtrolling days I usually just hid and jumped people at corners anyway so it was a buff if anything, at least to me and how I would use it
  25. I'm not sure about randomly spawned NPC's having weapons of any sort but that would make a neat new objective type- Enfs/Crims have to go to a location and wipe out SPPD/Bloods/G-Kings/etc who fight back with weaker weapons and have semi-bad aim. It would sure be a lot funner and more interesting than those awful objectives where all you have to do is shoot some security cameras or store windows. And if the coding works out they could probably throw in armed NPC's as a rare special type of ped spawn. Maybe a random drug dealer or something to explain why he shoots at both factions and he could drop a ton of special loot that can be turned in at contacts for a lot more dosh than usual, to give it some more purpose. But that would still add to the debate of some people wanting less random chaos and random mission interference vs people who want more.
