Top Tier Recommendations [Somewhat Satire]
Yapopal replied to Jama's topic in Social District (General Discussion)
Add inter-district matchmaking. The game isn't crappy enough yet. -
APB will die as shitty as she was born. A huge number of functions, settings and rules were violated in it. The game is as bad as possible for beginners, and the further, the worse. I spent a year of playing time in the game, and it's a shame that my favorite game has degraded for 10 years due to incompetence of developers. I have absolutely no desire to spend money on this game. The customization system does not make sense because of social atrophy. Meta guns are such because they are broken. This game is comfortable for players with connected automatic running, macro, and NTEC. It's time to change the genre of the game. She has long been a meat simulator or a simulator of a machine gunner stung in the patootie. Some points of the roadmap hint that the developers sincerely do not understand what is wrong with the game. None of the items on the list will attract the main resource - new players.

-ADD MATCHING- OR THE GAME WILL KEEP DIEING
Yapopal replied to JOSELA's topic in Social District (General Discussion)
Developers are too ambitious. Their main mistake is that they look far ahead without paying attention to today's problems. It is necessary to solve the problems of live matchmaking, it can simply be reconfigured. A small population is not an argument. It's easy to understand when a clearly weak team has no backup. But there are free players in the area! They are waiting for the mission and write to the chat "press K". Why even start a mission when the outcome is clear? Why waste time? It's infuriating! I wrote many times how to reconfigure matchmaking. Write again. 1. It is necessary to assign a danger level to the area, so that the players would be oriented where to go. Are there few players in the area? For that, they have the same level of skill, respectively, the enemy is easier to pick up. 2. Do not restrict entrances to areas with unsuitable levels. Degrade a player's performance if they enter a zone with a low level of danger. Let's say a player with a danger level of 100% enters an area with an average danger level of 50%. His health is reduced by 50%. A weak player (beginner) playing in the danger zone should receive bonus points for faster development These rules are needed in order for the players to be interested in being in the area corresponding to their level of play. 3. To curb macro cheaters, as well as players who like to play with noobs. The wanted level system needs to be overhauled. If a player gets wanted level 5, he is declared wanted and becomes visible to all players. The player gets Threat Level 5 for a few minutes, even if they die. Other players can only start interacting with the wanted player after pressing ALT (same as in the robbery mission) If a player reaches wanted level 5 for the second time in an hour, they will complete the mission and be automatically kicked out of the district. Without the possibility of re-entering this district within an hour. 4. Unlock the exit button from the mission with the enemy. If I don't want to play with a certain player I press this button, get a penalty medal and wait for the next mission. If I get 5 medals in an hour, I am automatically kicked out of the district without the possibility of re-entering for an hour. With this feature, the matchmaking system will become easier to work with. The chance of getting worthy help will increase. Useless unequal matches will disappear. The mission exit button is unlocked after completing the first stage, or after the player dies at the hands of an opponent. -
Very smooth game, yet Lagging bad in gun fights.
Yapopal replied to Y2Venom's topic in Social District (General Discussion)
Video stuttering is observed when players interact, as well as when interacting with the outside world. The game freezes before car collisions, before gunshots, and during combat. Also freezes occur before playing jingles, when working with inventory. It's most annoying when using a shotgun. In beta, the inventory worked very well. In the live version, the inventory works just as badly as the old one. It is very annoying when the game freezes, and then a message arrives that you were killed by some monkey with NTEC or Ursus. -
03/15 Maintenance Announcement (Build#1359)

I assume that the last update was made for study. The developers slightly changed the game parameters to make sure that everything works fine. -

How annoying are the Joker's screaming ammunition replenishment points. The voice and laughter themselves are terribly infuriating, but they weren't so loud before. Maybe you should just turn off the sound until you find a solution to the problem? The problem with the Joker ammunition replenishment point is quite revealing. Imagine what will happen when a new matchmaking is added. The new system will change the rules of the game in a way. There will be a lot of problems. For example, disappearing mission markers. Given the pace of developers, we won't see normal matchmaking even in a year. They will add new contacts and a car (oh yes, mob, you will be given a whole one car!) but matchmaking will not be completed.Figure out the current matchmaking system before making a new one. I am sure that the current system is good, but needs to add new features and configuration. I am sure that with your approach, the new system will not work better.Don't you think the situation is repeating itself? You again want to take a great height in one jump. You'll end up breaking your legs. The speed of cars is limited due to the low loading speed of the surrounding space and streets. At least that's how it used to be. If this problem is solved now, perhaps it is worth increasing the speed of vehicles? Sports cars Cisco, Bishada will finally occupy their niche. Why not make really fast cars out of them?

We need to release a mod for the online game cyber garbage. The game is ready.

At the expense of disabling collision. You have disabled bullet collision for non-mission players' vehicles. I noticed that beginners often lose because of this. If you add an ignore button, then this miserable crutch can be removed.

New matchmaking will turn the game into a waiting simulator. There is no need to completely redo the matchmaking. It will simply cause new problems that you do not know about and in the end you will again reconfigure everything, redo it. Improve the current matchmaking system by focusing on its shortcomings. Seat players initially in districts with a certain skill level. Limit skills for entering a district with a low level of danger. Reward players with points bonuses for entering a district with a high level of skill. Put on the wanted list of players with the fifth level of threat for a few minutes. To limit their clear advantage on a mission. I think a wanted level system would be a great help in balancing the forces. I think she was originally needed for this. This system was destroyed by one of its minuses. The player did not repeatedly receive the fifth level of danger after death. That is, the period of time in which this system limited the player was very small. Skills of units can be balanced by assigning the fifth level of danger for several minutes. This is a very important part of the game that has been pushed far to the shelf. I WILL WRITE IN CAPITAL LETTERS THAT A PLAYER CANNOT GET THE FIFTH LEVEL OF DANGER COMPETING WITH HIS EQUAL OPPONENT.

Why does everyone have to suffer because of the problem of a handful of streamers? Is someone stopping you from completing your mission? Move the crosshairs over this person, in the window that appears, click on the IGNORE button. All problem solved! Again, do not solve the problems of some at the expense of others! You've already done this when you were trying to resolve server issues in North America. As a result, you have lost half of Europe's population. The presented matchmaking model will turn APB into fucking GTA online! With such a matchmaking system, you constantly need to wait for someone, someone will come out, someone will come in, then the game crashes, starts to lag. As a result, in an hour you will complete one really good mission.

I have the same problem since Monday. The delay value increases to 1300 ms. Packet loss does not occur. I wanted to find out because of him it happens. But I don't know how to do it.

Have you measured the speed of cars? According to my calculations, the maximum speed is 72 kilometers per hour. Measurements were made on the highway, the reference point is the distance to the contact.

Useless polishing of the chessboard.
Yapopal replied to Yapopal's topic in Social District (General Discussion)
This thread is dedicated to explaining the reason why completely new players who are not familiar with the game do not stay in it. The first post explains why this is happening. Let LO release 10 patches with new content. It won't change the shitty rules that ruin the game. -

The new patch will increase the population for a while. But there will be a huge hole. Why not close it up now? -

When do you think the time will come for a change in matchmaking? How to change the matchmaking so that the population increases? -
Useless polishing of the chessboard.
Yapopal replied to Yapopal's topic in Social District (General Discussion)
Why do you think the division of districts is something bad and dangerous? The 2 systems described above involve waiting, and also do not guarantee that the mission will even begin. If you purposefully seat players in areas corresponding to their skills, there will be no need for these systems. -
Useless polishing of the chessboard.
Yapopal replied to Yapopal's topic in Social District (General Discussion)
There is no point in waiting for an increase in population. Because this moment won't happen. And they won't, because the kindergartners don't want to play shitty chess with Kasparov. We need to change the rules of the game now. Until the new big patch comes out. This will save the population after the patch. -

Yapopal replied to Yapopal's topic in Social District (General Discussion)
It's not about the number of players. You have four pots on the stove, you want to cook compote, pasta, soup, and oatmeal with milk. Instead of following a recipe, you mix all the ingredients together in these pots. Will it taste good? Yes, the pigs will love it. Players must be separated. Otherwise it won't work. Interdistrict matchmaking will turn APB into GTA online. -
I will create another topic to attract attention. Why do you think the game is not so popular? The game has a ten-year history, unique features, official servers has 300-700 people online. You say there are a lot of cheaters here, the game is lagging, come up with your own version. I think the game has always had one problem. Damn machemaking! Oh, yes, now they will write that LO is busy updating the engine so that the game would lag less, there was a new anti-cheat, new contacts. Yes, it will not help! All these attempts will cause an online surge for a month. New players are not interested in anti-cheat, engine, contacts. You don't think about these things when you download a new game. New players come into the game and see that the game sucks! Why? It's simple. All games have rules. This is the basis of the game. In the APB, the rules are about the same as in the chess game of a kindergarten student and Garry Kasparov. Only Kasparov has three queens and ten kings, and the kindergarten student has one pawn. Who would like to play by such rules? Nobody! Polish the chessboard to a mirror shine. Cover it with gold. Send an advertising banner to near-Earth orbit! It won't help you! I will attach two screenshots from the game. This is a table of players from one mission, in a FULL district. There is no help! The button is blocked. This is just a perfect example of the unpopularity of the game. I created a new character and took the equipment that is most unsuitable to the usual one. I felt like a beginner. There is no normal car, weapons, modifiers, consumables, grenades. I felt like a useless piece of meat. A newcomer who has shown interest will spend it quickly. The game contributes to this in every possible way by shoving jalapeno pepper in the patootie! Machemaking is the reason for messages about cheaters, and complaints on the forum that cheaters are not banned. Machemaking is the reason for discontent in the stability of the game. Why? Yes, because no one tells beginners that you can shoot with the mouse wheel. No one says that Ursus and NTEK are buggy guns. Beginners think that in front of them is a cheater based on their experiences from other games. No one tells them that the APB has features. At the moment, the fight of two silver players and one gold is the norm. But the Silver Team consists of two different people making different decisions. You can equalize forces if you work together, but this will not work with beginners, that is, 2 silver is not equal to 1 gold. The golden player is rooted in this game, and two silvers will leave and write a negative review. 300 people constantly supporting online are such golden entrenched players. There are silver ones among them, but someone needs to be silver. Someone has to lose. The update attracts new players. they run into veterans because of nasty matchmaking and walk away. It is necessary to divide the districts. As it was before. Divide the districts into 8 danger levels. Not by 4, as it was before. Do not restrict movement between districts. Assign substantial fines for entering an area with a low threat level. Assign rewards to players for entering an area with a high level of threats. To restrain strong players by assigning them a star of the fifth level of danger for a few minutes and not disappearing even after death. I will emphasize that a player cannot get the fifth level of danger with an equivalent opponent. Start interacting with the player with the fifth level of danger only after pressing ALT, as in the robbery mission. Stop interacting with your death. Unlock the exit button of the mission with the enemy. Assign penalty medals to the player after pressing this button. Kick a player if he has received 5 medals in 30 minutes.

Why does LO Hate the Thumper?
Yapopal replied to a Pair of Socks's topic in Social District (General Discussion)
THUMPER is really useless. In general, shotguns are very limited in use. They are useless in the open, but that's the way it should be. Shotguns are useful in tight spaces, but it's easier to use a submachine gun. Even secondary weapons can compete with shotguns. There is also some kind of blurring and unpredictability of damage. I think this is due to the physics of the shot, the game takes a long time to process information about the shot.
