AT NO TIME SHOULD PLAYERS HAVE THE CODING FOR APB THERE IS NO REASON FOR IT THAT IS VALID This is an online game.... not an offline team fortress 2 Already stated this is not like modding Skyrim.... You have no reason whatsoever to be allowed to tamper with APB files

otw is only a testing grounds and it would never be approved by steam in time to be of use.

They already said enough times the engine needs to be upgraded to do it properly.... Get in the prototype testing districts and help them balance the guns so that they can then focus on the engine upgrade and fix matchmaking But the chaos of not knowing who will win now is making it that much funner

Never said anything about API in particular being bad nor did I say it was good. The topic is giving the coding to everyone like sourceforge does and that coding for APB never belongs in the public. This is not Skyrim to make mods this is an online game and it's company. I don't care what they code it with as long as its a viable solution that is also secure and good for APB all around. But at no time should that be open source for anyone outside of Little Orbit to have access to which is what the topic is about.

Then you are aware of how it's a dead server again. Maybe 20-30 people online at night, with 200-300 people during peak hours. That isn't a sustainable population, period. Ive seen those numbers........when its getting close to midnight......

Ignoring your specs others have talked about that enough. Has the game lagged in the past : yes from poor management from G1 and DDoS attacks on them. Is the game laggier than before : Depends on if you mean that Little Orbit had major DDoS attacks , or that they are working on mitigation solutions , or how hardware failed that G1 left behind , or how there are fires that were reported on the news to be interfering with DNS servers here in the U.S.A o nthe west coast , or the storms east to west coast that didn't help either. And I am sure others can point out other reasons as well. I've been here for years.... I've seen worse than it currently is. Little Orbit is not to blame. It only appears worse from more DDoS attacks happening from haters who have banana envy *shrugs* Edit : this is not to say Little Orbit did not make mistakes , we are all human , but meant to say that we all know it's a bigger picture than that.

Commas are kinda hard to see for some but spaces in between zeroes to show where a comma would be can make it easier to see instead or even both so that the commas and spaces show it all easier

are low yields broken? if so example if not why touch it? Edit : down voted for saying to give a reason for or against changing the grenades other than just personal opinions? Really makes you all look like nothing is wrong with these grenades and that you just need to "git gud" from that down vote

When a disconnect happens it can take a little bit to unlock the character. Edit : that means the character that was online may become locked and need a few minutes to unlock again.

How can it possibly be dead when we still log on with or without you? Your account is not even 100 days old so how could you possibly know how bad it was under G1 and how much work Little Orbit has done as well as is continuing to do? It's becoming more alive with hope and promise from their work not dead like your whining says. Your post makes you sound like you believe yourself to be entitled to everything now , but guess what getting good things takes hard work and time and Little Orbit is doing just that. Toss this thread in the pile of "Little Orbit did something I don't like so the game is dead" so that I can get back to shooting at people who suck it up and play through the mess until its cleaned up.

as much as this might make sense at first, theres no actual way to avoid close range in apb - not when you have to interact with an objective not everyone needs the objective I do covering fire unless the team already is for me instead

I've been doing it that way and kill the shotguns as much as they kill me Many people said to fix the gun balances as well as add new weapons which means the gun balances needed to be worked on. Thy also said that the otw was not the final stage and that more testing was to come which is here now. hop in the open conflict and help the cause I don't understand how hard it is to stay 30 m away or more.... or maybe they just want to steal a kiss and cop a feel from ops? lol
