Summed it up pretty good. Nothing more to add. I'm through with it. You're not worth any more of my time.

Oh... but don't worry if it's like this - Ignorance is bliss - Glad I could be of service

Is that a request for a psychoanalysis? However I fear you're so far gone that not even one of us experts here will be able to help you

That was a metaphor for the general mindset that ex-cheaters might have but aren't eligible to have. As to what treatment those really deserve seem to be a case to case for me. Though no matter what if they are honest about it then it shouldn't even be relevant as described in my post above. I can see reason on both sides and will admit a certain degree of bias towards anti-cheater. Having played online games for so long and being competitive by nature there is just so much I can forgive at some point.
-
I will stop you right there. Let's not start shifting blame to the legit players for a cheaters relapse. That's the very reason why they cheated in the first place... they chose to cheat for whatever petty reason and decided to ruin the game for more than just some individuals. Going back to cheating because some frustrated players don't show appreciation or hand out a medal for your "good deed" show that the cheater hasn't changed at all and that the whole excuse of coming clean was a load of bs. Do I think that it might be tough to pull through and show to be a better person when not everyone accepts it with a smile? Definitely, but that is not something one can demand after having decided to cheat in the past. It is an ungrateful task that one has to accept when willing to turn their back on cheating. Having said that there are probably cases where the line gets crossed and an ex-cheater has to face an unreasonable amount of toxicity and that is certainly also wrong.

Yes, very sophisticated of you to resort to calling me a kid. I think it would be more helpful for your case if you went after my arguments and not person. You keep talking about the present and it's obvious flaws as to why it isn't a viable option to go after cheaters now (where I agree with you). However I can clearly remember that I opened with "Just a matter of time until the industry grows old enough for the law to be an incorporated factor" which insinuates a time in the future. A time when major sponsors find their way into esport, when consumers might need to deposit some sort of IDs and when there is generally more money on the line. How often do I read that "ah that kid cheated when he was xx years old" shouldn't punish him because he did sth. stupid when he was young. The perception of cheating is wrong and sth. needs to change so young people growing up know straight away that it is wrong and not okay to do because everybody forgives it anyway due to age. Seeing as you proclaim that the damages you did while cheating for half a year amount to less than a dollar show how wrong your own perception on the topic is. While you are just one cheater you are part of a collective problem that causes exponential more damage. Not to forget the ruined time of the players that you have met over half a year (hard to put a prize on that). Unless you say they don't matter? Given this time I am really reaching far since that can hardly be called criminal rather just a case of egoistical pleasant fellow. Pardon. Educated egoistical pleasant fellow. Cheers.

Sure imprison-able crime is straight up a rather obscene punishment and would very likely only ever be for the most severe cases of cheat distribution. But again I wasn't the one who said to lock up all them cheaters that was his hyperbole. I said it should be punishable by law and there is more diversity of punishments than prison or no prison so...? Going with your sentiment I assume thievery is not punishable either or if it is why don't you tell your companies to grow the fuck up and use countermeasures against thievery as well? After all it's in their discretion to make use of store detectives, video security, radio labels and others. Their fault for not securing their wares enough, right? Why bother the law with those acts?
-
Your fruitless attempt to disprove the logic by laughably using an hyperbole just shows your ignorance on the topic. Not like I expected anything substantial but it just shows that the issue lies in the perception of cheating itself which takes a certain degree of maturity to comprehend the far-reaching implications.
-
Cheaters actively damage businesses. Just a matter of time until the industry grows old enough for the law to be an incorporated factor. Oddly enough not just felonies but repeated minor criminal activities can just as much lead to prison - very odd how this cuts into the threads question if cheaters can stop.

Eat a soup with a fork and tell me again that spoons don't make people fat.
-
I would say it's a case of the exception rather than the rule. Can cheaters become legit? Sure, some do but the majority won't. Relapses are very likely due to the reason for their cheating being a deep-seated issue in their character. To admit would be the first step most already fail at. The excuses that haven't changed in decades are still the same. Their explanations followed by contradictions since they can't keep track of their own lies disprove any shred of honesty. APB has proven it all over the years. Just check the Steamprofiles of most of those cases and they will have VAC history too.

It is your (as the people supporting editing) question since you use it for your own argumentation.

Then just read what Cookie wrote who ironically answered his and your question himself. You can abandon the mission because you know its a terrible one. There are a handful of them that are heavily in advantage for one side. Also while insisting on Saxtus to answer your question why not answer his in return? Why do it if it supposedly doesn't give an advantage?
-
It's really simple: It's against the rules - nobody gives a flying shite if it gives an advantage or not. It's a matter of principle. Also some real experts here have shown that they do not possess the ability to navigate that thin line of bending those rules in the past. The usual when do we cross the line question is taken out by just following that one simple rule.

Ah the "I-made-a-mistake-and-am-out-of-position-but-who-cares" deployable. Yes, not a huge fan of it.

Maybe purge the keylogger and stop downloading it then? 7 accounts? Best antivirus is still the thing that sits a couple cm in front of the screen.

Hope you do all participants justice definitely no easy task going through everything to check. Cool event

Riot and bringing in "lore"
TheJellyGoo replied to Noob_Guardian's topic in General Discussion Archive
The last 2 years (mid2017-LOtakeover) were clearly milking the players without any work being done. Anyone believing they kept working on the EU past 2017 is ignorant. Behold that the linked post leads to a blogpost from 2016 where it was still a wide assumption that the EU was in its final phases and just needed that final push to bring it over the line. So yes, I agree with your "Oh shit, we can't make it work correctly - they gonna lynch us!" just that they deceived their playerbase for over a year which imo borders to criminal activity. -

Yeah, no! The question was whether to hold back on new content 'for the rest of the year' which was at the time 5-6 months or even less 4 and a half months. So let's stop blaming the community again because G1 deceived and manipulated the playerbase. They didn't do any of the two options and just in general went dead silent running with the excuse that people like you were so nice to provide and justify. edit: Since this obviously isn't the first time feel free to read up on it -
Actually sounds like the only possible way to make it worse. Can't fix humans. Scrubs will always find ways to exploit systems. Don't ruin it for everyone else because of them. Where have the actual gamers gone that had an urge to improve and challenge themselves. Fuck'n sad.

I'm broke af. Maybe <500k over all characters. Money not spent is wasted so I usually find sth. to use it for. (modding all guns/cars out cause lazy and such)

So leaking stuff let's people know stuff so said stuff is no secret anymore that could be leaked thus it's not considered leaking anymore? Conclusion: leaking is not leaking -
Then cut the "overseas" part - doesn't change the general point of my post though. But sure keep the Metathesiophobia up.

It doesn't give you any advantage? Just makes you look like a spastic
