Why should anyone bother answering questions that are dealt with in a Tutorial when the person apparently didn't feel the necessity to sit down and go through it. You're to good for it? It's not worth your time? Sorry, but that's exactly what you are for me when you can't show some effort/initiative on your side - not worth my time. When I got time and not busy in a mission I am happy to help and give advice but I am not some else's "Tutorial".

New Joker Store items in the next update

What do you mean? That is literally what the whole topic is about. Not everyone may feel the need to repeat the principle of the discussion when adding to it. -
New Joker Store items in the next update
TheJellyGoo replied to MattScott's topic in General Discussion Archive
I feel like this is a very good direction. Exploring the JT-Store to provide incentive for people to grind and obtain permanent items that are comparable to some Armas items. Especially if you keep expanding on it (inventory and how to obtain JTs), very nice. -
Letter For Matt Scott

We can be cranky at times but it is out of passion. Thanks for keeping up with us and continue fighting for APB. It is appreciated. -
Delaying the RIOT launch till next week
TheJellyGoo replied to MattScott's topic in General Discussion Archive
Where is the logic in that? You literally propose the same thing that is causing the problem in your opinion. "release in September" would be an announcement of a schedule. What happens when contrary to all expectations they can't keep that deadline - delay it? Are you suggesting that it should be some exorbitant date like "EU will be finished 2025"? That's your solution? Yeah good luck with that. That's not how reality works. -
Always showed me that they didn't understand what APB is in it's core when they came up with those ideas. Ultimately it is a pvp game. Trying to remove threat and cater to some casual community that will flock to another game rather sooner than later was always the wrong way. However I do understand that the great customization also attracts those people so hope is that with phasing and improved matchmaking there can be a place for both to be happy.

I have waited for years I can wait another week especially for sth. I have no interest in anyway. Wish you the best of luck for less bumps in the road, LO, while I patiently wait for the EU. -
What 3 things would you like to bring back from RTW days?

I wonder where all these top golds are when I play the game? Saying that you get stomped 9 out of 10 games implies that there are roughly 90% top golds on a district (vague estimate due to repeated clashes etc). I consider myself fairly decent and those would be the groups that give us (my group) a balanced match and tough fight but we do not have 9 out of 10 matches like that. In fact the numbers would be flipped there is usually 1 max 2 groups of those on a server which would mean 4-8 (10-20%) top gold players because all our other matches are pretty straightforward winstreaking. Following that logic it would mean that the other 80-90% (mirroring factions for ease) would play between themselves and have rather equal matchups (which includes losses since balanced matchups would still give you 50%). So let's say you meet the top group twice = 2 losses Leaves 8 balanced matches = 8 50% win/loss = 4 losses and 4 wins Together 6 losses and 4 wins maybe on a bad day few more losses and voila we are close to your 90% depression rate. I just think you can't handle losing and are partly looking for an escape. Btw. your chill games after dethreating are probably stomping on some newbs that do not enjoy that. All about perception. -
May Blog is up including RIOT launch date & EAC

Sounds broken af. Did this go through SPCT? Just want to know who thought what before it hits the fan lol (or maybe it wont and its just worded in a scary way) -
bugging you? Relax, I only said that you're both talking about the same thing and that you simply missed that part. "sigh"

It's not like he said something different. It's true that the EU and Content alone won't solve the major problem of player loss (matchmaking) which as you said can only be tackled after the upgrade. So your posts don't contradict each other. It's just about awareness to dam hype and lower possible disappointment of immediate change. Damn you, I love numbers and stats and clicked that full of pleasant anticipation.

What's the definition of succeed here? What's the expectation?

Temptress main, love out dueling ntecs. But one really need to know what they're doing or it overblooms/dropoffs hard. When controlled it can be a precise and deadly weapon. Always marksman except for hugging fights.

Load of crap. They asked people to pay up after charge backs that happened from shady sites where those people bought their KTTC packs from for to good to be true deals. But sure let's keep spending money on those grey area sites and then act surprised. Can't take from one hand and ignore what the other does - simple as that.

Accessing the Old Forum

How am I supposed to call out dumbass-bullshoot-talkers if I cannot access written proof from year old posts. This is a tragedy of apocalyptic dimensions for my forum powers. -
What do you think ruined the game?
TheJellyGoo replied to yood's topic in General Discussion Archive
You know I asked for you to show me proof of that since I initially provided all the facts that somehow show a different picture than your claim? What a dead APB now has to do with a well going back in 2013 - I don't know. What connection are you trying to make? Sure bud. Sure. Is this why you think segregation is responsible for empty gold districts and players leaving? Because... ...is when they loosened segregation. Take a look from when your quote is. 2014. If you follow the link that you thankfully provdided you can read that they clearly talk past segregation time. Almost as if I knew: -

So ... ? Can you elaborate or do you have no idea where you wanted to go from there? Was your post just another silly hackusation rant? Please, enlighten me then how much skill matters when I've shown you that your conclusion about "success" in other games is completely wrong. Where does the skill gap come from? How do we have the same players in the top and the same at the bottom for so long? Go on. Say some words. Otherwise that's truly cheap. Not taking position and then just fending off all points as twisting your words when you aren't even capable of taking a position. If not shove off and leave the pointless insinuations be if you can't take it to be called out on them. -

Pretty weak. Majority of the "good" APB players have 0 issues being towards the top of the foodchain in other games too. Especially considering what could have happened if the hours invested in APB would have been invested somewhere else. Not saying APB is a perfectly balanced competitive game. It has it's flaws with it's asymmetrical mission design no doubt. However denying that skill does matter is just a cheap excuse for your own flaws unless you want to tell me that bronzes and silvers have just been unlucky for years. Shoutout to HarryHook who became an Overwatch pro. -

Have you even read my post? Can you please provide something I can see and comprehend instead of your anecdotal doomsday screeching? There was no issue joining a populated gold district in europe so yes it was a good time for me in apb. Are you sure you're not confusing "empty gold districts" with after they changed it back since most yellows joined silver districts to stomp on some lower threats? Because that's when the actual "high tier players" were confronted with empty gold districts and had to follow the sheep which ended not just in the slaughter of yellows but silvers too. -

I really wonder where this comes from. Loved that time and somehow it ended up as a collective dark time of APB? Tried to do some digging but sadly old blog and patchnotes seem to have been lost due to takeover and stuff. On reddit I found two possible time stamps about introduction of threat segregation: Source As for the end it's luckily one of the first available patch notes Source Let's ignore the usual seasonal swings and that the gold rush event pushed it's peak in August 2013 I still fail to see the genocide of the playerbase. In fact it looks like it started to go downhill from threat segregation removal? Am I missing sth. what am I missing?
