I think you overestimate BE, it's JUST okay, I've seen plenty of sources to cheats that "bypassed" BattlEye (before Bastian started redirecting calls from lsass/csrss' NtWVM and NtRVM functions to his driver via IoCtl requests and invoking KeBugCheck when he deems them illegitimate) and there were a lot of red flags (creation of a DRIVER_OBJECT from a driver that has no certificate, VMT hooks with their caller func's return address, or VMT ptr, being located outside of game memory, strings with no encryption looking specifically for game exes, CreateThread being called directly from the cheat module rather than hijacking an existing thread, handles being opened rather than hijacked, failure to unlink from PEB, PE headers being plain as day, and more) and there was never any action taken on them until they were either released or sold, the problem is not that they're private either, as all of the things listed above are relatively sketchy given the scenario. It's okay, but it's not good enough to wreck a lot of p2cs as long as the p2c is actually cleaning up after itself properly (which most do not, because a lot of the people developing this stuff are either plain incompetent or just don't care), it's especially JUST okay given that a lot of functionality it has, such as the ability to dump memory pages (from user mode and kernel) is rarely used by Bastian and co, the reason being that manual memory analysis takes a long time, it's easier to just buy and sig stuff than it is to manually analyze things for long periods of time w/o being sure what they are, so it's really not all that great, I've seen total idiots who have no idea what an entry point is get around BE's auto bans for quite a period of time.

No, it's not usual, when G1 was acquired by Little Orbit around 2 months ago, the population of their other game (APB Reloaded) almost doubled, the APB Reloaded community is known for its toxicity, and someone who wants these games to fail started DDoSing the servers at all hours, there's nothing we can really do except sit it out and hope that it blows over soon. Sorry to hear that your first impressions have been so mixed, but know that things aren't usually this bad. You can always come back to the game another time when these issues have been resolved if they're getting on your nerves.

N-TEC fastest killing p2w weapon in the game? First off, it's not the fastest TTK weapon in the game, that's the Yukon (and then right beneath that if you don't consider that bugged gun, the SHAW), second its 6 shots to kill, third it is incredibly easy to beat if you can position yourself like you're not a paraplegic and play to your own weapon's strengths (ever tried to track a Carbine/Oscar user strafe firing up close? It's really hard), and fourth you got all three of your statements wrong which means I think you have no position to speak on game balance. If you think the Volcano is an exploit or w/e just lol, roll up on the guy with your car, jump out with an OCA or PMG and then blast him down, you can do the same thing against an N-TEC. Stop crying because you're getting outgunned for playing like an idiot, perhaps you should record your gameplay and think to yourself "Why did I die in this situation and what could I have done to not die?" or...you can just stay bad and delusional. Carbine one trick here btw, before you just say I'm an N-TEC fanboy.

I agree with you, the current issue is most definitely player retention and probably less to do with recruiting new players (but that needs to be streamlined out as well), if we can get some of the older players back from 2014-2016 (when the game was like 2-4x larger than it is currently) and keep them, they'll tell the friends they made to come back, and their friends will tell their friends to come back, and so on and so forth. Word of mouth is definitely a big part of bringing the diehard player base back.

I'd say the majority of the doubled population are returning players who loved the game but refused to play it while it was under (old) G1's control.

Nah I use the N-TEC. Kinda have to to get anything done, don't I? As someone who never uses the N-TEC...ever. No. I'm only using N-SSW/Carbine/PMG and I do not feel the need to use the N-TEC.

I personally think it's hilarious that they get mad nobody speaks their language, at least it adds a bit of fun to an otherwise unfun mission at times.

TIL everyone has a R195 char. I have 4 chars, of which none are R195 (and my main is inactive), and I'm not spending my joker tickets on a 7 day trial of a mobility sling.

I can say that it's not just you, I have some Italian friends who have a lot of issues getting connected, and after they do, they have difficulty staying connected for long periods of time. I'm from NA and have no issues, and our other German friend we play with regularly has no issues.

This is exactly why I'm not a huge fan of the N-TEC, I can use it, I can even use it to a pretty decent level, but I don't enjoy being stuck in one place at any range beyond 20m, I like to be able to move around while firing, if you get good at strafe firing and being unpredictable with the way you move then you can beat a lot of people with a Carbine, even if it's out of the range that the weapon is most effective in (CQC-mid)

Carbine (for CQC-mid)/N-SSW (for mid-long), Fang (add some OBIR to my CQC)/.45 (add some CQC to my mid-long), Frags

I can't use anything but Carbine, N-SSW, PMG, or OCA (well, beyond a reasonable level that is, I can use any gun that isn't god awful, but not necessarily well) and I don't think the N-TEC is broken.
