Comparing buying a gun on the ARMAS store to changing core game mechanics, when that's not at all alike??? It's more like when GamersFirst said "hey guys buy the LCR it's going away FOREVER and will NEVER EVER BE AVAILABLE EVER AGAIN so get it now!" and then they brought it back every sale, that's what it's closer to, and even then it's not comparable because the guns come around every season anyway, unlike the LCR which was meant to be gone FOR GOOD.

They're making money off of the Valentines day event guns by allowing people to obtain them out of that season, and donating a portion of the money to a charity of the community's choosing, they make money and they also donate to a charity to help raise awareness on breast (or other) cancer because that's what the month of October is about. That's the entire point of the event, make money, provide a fun event to the community, allow people to obtain the Valentines day guns outside of their respective event, all the while helping raise awareness for cancer. How is it pointless? It's not about being a "cool system to obtain weapons in-game", it's no different from going on ARMAS and buying them when it's in season, except a portion of it goes to charity.

If this is the case, it could fit for brain cancer too, because the brain also works with pink. I just support the idea of a charity backed event entirely.

Ah, I've only used the Coroner on OTW and I thought it was god awful, it's just outclassed in literally every area by another gun. It's TERRIBLE.

I will absolutely buy stuff from the Valentines/Breast Cancer awareness events if I can be ensured by @MattScott and the others that the majority of the profits made will go to awareness of breast cancer and other cancer-related charities. I've been meaning to pick the guns up, but I have all the more reason to do so if I know it's going to a good cause.

Eh, you must've forgotten about the SBSR weapons and the ISSR-a, those guns are abysmal...but yeah, Strife basically got dumpstered when it was already pretty good but only in specific situations.

I was joking, but if this is the case in the future and even a portion (must be a marginal portion, Little Orbit) of the money made from the guns goes to breast cancer awareness (and other cancer-related things), I will definitely buy the Valentines CSG and Carbine. I suggest making a thread and seeing the response from the community, since your post will most likely get buried here.

That's what they said, but they seemed to adjust a lot more than just that, been getting 2-3 shot all day from CSGs and see people basically running financial with them lol.

Pink guns are OP and need to be removed from this game, literally P2W because we can only obtain them during February. As for the N-SSW, it's a wild gun, I wish it got a slight TTK adjustment from 0.78 to something more like 0.75 or a slight accuracy buff because of the Rabid kind of outclassing it in all areas, but beyond that, it's incredibly underrated imo. Mega good gun, one of my favorite guns in the game to use.

As the screenshot shows, the Strife says "...required to keep the weapon in one peice..." this is clearly a typo, it should be one piece. You can recreate this by entering Social, opening Wilde's Joker Ticket store, and taking a look at the Strife's description. There is also the description found in Localization/INT in the game files, inside of "WeaponItemTypes.INT" under "WeaponItemTypes_Weapon_Shotgun_Apoc-War_Slot3_Armas_Description" WeaponItemTypes_Weapon_Shotgun_Apoc-War_Slot3_Armas_Description=No expense has been spared to ensure that the 'Strife' can use the largest, meanest shells around. The reinforcement required to keep the weapon in one peice makes the SG-21 slow to cycle, but the resulting destruction is worth it. The expected behavior is that the typo does not occur.

That'd just make said guns with said mods even stronger though? Your point makes no sense. Anyway, stock PMG/N-TEC/OCA are still some of the best guns in the game. I can compete just fine with stock PMG.

Yes, the game costs money to run, yes the game costs money to develop, yes companies need to operate on a net gain and not a net loss if they're to survive, but paying $40 (and even more) for an account-bound gun is just awful, and if the prices are lower, you'll most likely get more people buying, but with the current user base I suppose prices need to be eye gouging because it's not too easy to survive otherwise, maybe when more players show up prices will lower...or when the engine upgrade doesn't come, according to mods.

The issue with the Cisco that keeps it from being viable isn't even that it dies in a conc, the Coywolf does too, the issue is the car handles like a fucking coke can with a rock in it, it's low to the ground, it should be able to hug corners super hard but it fishtails if you so much as look at it incorrectly.

Unfortunately, it has been this way for a while, I don't know if it has exacerbated the issue because I haven't played since patch except some FC with a shotgun, but at high ping (I play a lot on Citadel and I'm from NA), I often see a noticeable "stutter" when firing with the Carbine such as in this video.

Don't speak for me please, thanks. Your opinion is yours, not mine. I'm fine with TTK being raised as long as every gun gets their TTK raised and not just the few marksman rifles using IR, the issue is the way it was done this patch, not the idea behind it.
