  1. Cause of that Intel spectre meltdown controversy. Nice setup. But i wasn't talking about APB from 1987. Also last time when I checked our current APB needed about 10 GB of free space.
  2. That I agree on but since I don't see it coming in my lifetime... Well... player needs to improvise as much as they can. Btw. I put that build through some virtual tests on some major sites although real world =/= virtual so who knows. I'm okey with that. People may still talk trash about Intel but AMD ain't good and never really was.

  4. I'm in stage of making plans for PC build. I have some high-end "handle them all" builds ready. I also tested on some friends high-end PCs APB. Results in some cases are suprising. One of builds struggled to play APB (while not low FPS was very unstable)... meanwhile it run new AAA games in ultra at 100 fps. So that rised my question... What is perfect build for APB? I look for some good PC build when it comes to quality and price because i'm not millionare and some of this high-end PC builds would probably drive me into debt. I talk components in such form: GPU - ? CPU - ? Ram - ? OS - ? (Heard stability of game is lower on Win 10) Motherboard - ? Cooling system - ? Power supply - ? Additional components - ? Cost - (Just informative and additional) I'm sadly in urgent need of hardware change because with current trend APB gonna be unplayable for me in year. Also no technical bullshoot. I just know how to check if 1 is 1 or 0 is 0 in binary and how to put PC together (after all it's like Lego, you just put together part and just do cable work and viola... eventually you check if voltage is where it should and it should run - if not troubleshot, who knows faulty new hardware happens)

    Rework spawn system

    1. I feel it's the most fair. Both parts got some building from which you can defend yourself and each faction already got starter spawn at this locations. 2. While in action they are alright because they don't force you to spawn among enemies, in FC it often forcefully spawn you among enemy. Especially visible if you try fightclub. 3. Hence why point 4. More spawns, hidden from view of players. 4. Spawns are far from fine as they are. It's just waves of spawning players and then 5 seconds usually it spawn opposition among team because they moved 5 meters away. 5. Additional 5 spawns in different locations. If all are occupied that is. 6. I don't see problem why not make them spawn fast but give them choice anyway. Also team killed player are not faulty for being team killed and shouldn't be punished at all. 7. I had a lot of VIP missions as a VIP and sometimes experince it as such. You spawn somewhere... you lose protection, you see vegas driving toward you - nowhere to run. Rip. Repeat until failure or success. I don't think VIP missions supposed to look like this.

    Rework spawn system

    Spawn system needs serious rework... the fact that you can in some situation spawn litteraly next to opposition or in line of sight of opposition right now is insulting. I have few suggestions what should be done: 1. Add additional starter spawns to FC - similiar to Asylum where you can at start spawn in 5 places, same should be applied to Waterfront (Whole north should be Enforcer starter spawn zone, whole south should be Criminal starter spawn zone) OR 2. Remove starter spawns at all (forced spawns at certain locations when you join district or respawn after end of mission usually make you spawn among enemies). 3. Make spawn system detect if opposition can see that spawn or is in some radius of that spawn (like one or two floors above - this situations happen way too often with current spawn system that you spawn one floor under or above opposition). 4. Additional spawn points in action and FC (Maybe spawns in alleys or outside street too? Currently all spawns are too open.). 5. Propose other spawns if conditions from point 3 are not met instead of locking out all spawns in red. 6. Remove forced respawn for VIPs and team-killed - since they often punish VIPs and team killed themselves. They should have normal respawn like others. OR 7. If you can't get rid of that mechanism - at least make it that this who are forced to respawn where game chooses will respawn as far possible from where they were killed (in case of VIPs at least 500 m, team-kills might be closer). Absolutely disable forced spawn on car spawners (as this both trigger cooldown to spawn in car as well spawn in not so smart places(can spawn half way across map in some random newbie car...)) I think that would fix spawn system to at least decent level.
  8. You can test it yourself. Go to ARMAs and try to purchase from that account character-wide weapon. Cost should be reduced minus price of character-wide permanent weapon cost. You just should have cost of upgrading to account-wide. If not, well then it's obvious you can't. Clarification: Never had such concern with my packs so I don't know. I just know how to check it.

JMB have tendency to be always abused... probably most famous was when Tiggs Boxes were as reward for weekend (Abuse was sky-rocketing and FFA R&D 3 price went down to ground - from 20 millions to 3 millions on average). Joker Tickets are fine but some veterans might moan because they got all from Joker Distribution and can only lease weapons for it and buy medium ammo deployables. Weapon skins - sure? But we got only several. Titles? - Yeah but what title you gonna suggest? And the fact that it gonna be widespread might trigger some ("cause my title is unique 1!1"). APB $ - Possible boost for all this newbies out there. Veterans moans guaranteed. Problem is how to satisfy everyone with dailies. I'm so up for teamkill event (That was fun... for some time...) but when you actually wanted to do FC you were guaranteed to be teamkilled. Still I had my laugh.
  11. All this features are planned to be put in console version. G1 didn't put them because they didn't know how. That way it misses death themes, threats (also Volcano and EOL series are currently only legendaries on market... OSMAW and OPGL are leaseable as well - so everything is right when it comes to weapons itself - they are all on console).
  12. Config modification is totally allowed. But when it comes to modification of game itself? Well... it's easy backdoor for wallhackers. So sorry. Although my game would use that FPS boost...
  13. Well maybe I explain what I meant by broken. I mean that at point blank it got problem with hitting anything (which is strange for shotgun) but does alright at certain range. This usually happens in point blank range when aiming from shoulder (aiming with it or distancing yourself from enemy fix it). Possible register issue?
  14. Sadly anything which injects itself into game is bannable. That is due possible room for abuse and for example disgusing hacks as shaders.
  15. RFP is compact OBIR. It was supposed to be compact SMG.
  16. Shredder got some registring issues from what I saw so yeah... For now it's pretty garbage to use against other pointsman weapons.
  17. While it needs more shots to kill, M-1922 also fires this shots faster. So if all shots land on both sides it will kill faster than OCA and PMG. Huge recoil is nerf done to it because it was meta at some point (and yeah, it recoil was low enough that it was easily controllable even when full auto-fired... now you need to control fire). For me everything fine with M-1922, it's the other guns which needs fixing.
  18. If they somehow bring it to 10k players now, I will be impressed. I'm honest... that was highest real population at the same time in CBT and OBT.

  20. Just inform us when it will be in OTW. I really need to test this changes before they are applied - I have many concerns about them. @MattScott
  21. Major problem. It would make HVR impossible to use close quaters. While sure it should be used on range it would effectively kill N-HVR as any kind of last resort. And it would just force people to use alternatives (DMR or Scout). I sometimes wonder if you all just want to kill N-HVR...
  22. It's ARMAs weapon. Never make ARMAs weapon as king of class if you don't want APB be called p2w. Remember when ATAC was OP?... Yeah.
