Apology for incident during my stream

at least it wasn’t a whole folder full of IPs :^) -
aren't testers supposed to push the boundaries of the game? seems kind of weird to expect them to be helpful at the same time you want them to sit and don't touch anything
-
i've been told that the ocsp joker reward was removed around the same time as the old staff power boxes, which would explain why the ocsp joker is almost as expensive as an ffa
-
how exactly is this any worse than the current situation? at least with this jt method there’s a guarantee of a legendary, all on its own that will likely keep some people from being tempted to break the tos
-
50k joker tickets (2500 x 20 leases) for a guaranteed legendary but every legendary rental has a chance to win a permanent version, as far as i can tell
-
where are you getting more expensive? it looks like 50k jt (2500 x 20 for a guaranteed drop) is $100 usd, that’s the same price you would pay for a theoretical guaranteed legendary from current joker boxes (1% drop rate doesn’t translate exactly to 100 boxes per legendary but whatever) the only difference is with this new system no one can get fucked over potentially forever by bad rng and never win a legendary weapon
-
wow nice i can stop heckling orbit about joker boxes now honestly a great change, and i'm looking forward to even more jt additions soon

If you're from EU and you're tired of cheaters...
vsb replied to Uhtdred's topic in General Discussion Archive
or they could just ban them, instead of devoting resources and dev time solely to people who don't deserve it -
you specifically mentioned crosshair overlays as cheats which is incorrect any other cheats a player may be using such as an aimbot are A) still against the tos, and B) still theoretically banned for by battleye - someone using a crosshair overlay does not get a free pass to cheat just because the overlay code is attached to their aimbot

crosshair overlays have been officially allowed by little orbit as long as it doesn't interact with the game files

Engine Update IS the worst tha happened to APB
vsb replied to Resine's topic in General Discussion Archive
but a large portion of bugs/issues are related to the current spaghetti code, “new” content will be limited to shoehorning existing mechanics into slightly different roles, and every additional patch lowers game performance just a little bit more if we were to just barge ahead without the engine upgrade i suspect most updates would either be A) extremely narrow in scope like slightly tweaked existing clothing or more and more redundant modifications and reskins, or B) awful half-assed stuff like riot, which still took at least a year of dev time despite being stitched together (very poorly) from existing mechanics all while the game plays worse and worse, plus as the months go by a majority of players will move on to rtx or better gpus and won’t be able to play the current 32 bit version at all -
why is it bad that the best ARs are now mostly armas/jt only? idk man
-
bring colby back so we can delete it again
-
woah it’s been a while since someone posted such ridiculous requests as if it’s just a matter of pushing an “add this” button
-
might as well release it as an otw test, we need larger amounts of players to simulate live conditions anyway

Questions regarding the engine update and open beta
vsb replied to supermariobrothe's topic in General Discussion Archive
orbit has been pretty clear that they don't really care too much about the graphics at this point, the focus is on getting the performance as good as possible before they start polishing the looks -
we might be getting the equivalent of ophelia and wilde in each district, thats the only reason i can think of to need so many new contacts
