these downsides cancel out the negatives if heavy barrel forces you to shoot slower, then theres no reason to use it, you could just shoot slower yourself without using the mod if improved rifling reduces your damage theres no reason to use it, since that 15% damage would likely increase the stk making the mod useless seems fine, altho i doubt it will ever be used for anything but ramraiding no, all money sinks should stay besides, orbit is adding a trading system that has no tax

im not sure this would really help anything tbh, at most it will make people do something that most already do: stay out of range of their own car - i (and a lot of the opp i face) use radar tower way more as an approach spotter than a camping location this also would do nothing to stop heavy vehicles with radar tower from driving around a mission area and tagging everyone, arguably the mods best usage maybe make the boombox consumable jam radar towers (and carspawners) within a certain radius? since no one uses radar jammer outside of fc, perhaps just making it easier to disable radar tower would suffice

i kind of understand your point but in a game that has the "rock paper scissors" balance method so ingrained (or at least it used to), wouldnt it be more optimal to actually have paper and scissors instead of just rock? granted i dont think giving fragile a speed increase to the point where its a truly viable green mod option would be very balanced

so were the raptor 45 vulture and raptor 45 hawk, altho those dont really compete with the ntec despite being assault rifles all of them were given out as rewards for the xmas events iirc

even if the rof is reverted the gun is still going to be a problem for fragile users, the mod itself just isnt very good tbh

i think increasing the stars rof would actually make the gun worse since it would bloom faster and it doesnt have the benefit of the ntecs fast accuracy recovery if the ntec rof were to be lowered i dont think it should get any extra range, especially since with ir3 it would legitimately push the obeya out of place

its going to be a new Joker Box weapon not up on armas as of yet tho, id assume it will be by the end of the week

hopefully the armas revamp will include normalized prices, since theyre currently all over the place - looking at you $50 shredder

i think criminals could purchase ltl weapons off the marketplace under RTW and a few years ago there was the bug where criminals could arrest stunned enforcers, altho there was no ltl available for criminals those are the only similar situations i can think of off the top of my head
