Help so that APB becomes great again
Krapler replied to IGeertI's topic in Social District (General Discussion)
I am sure that money is not the main issue here, it is the lack of responsibility and honesty from Little Orbit. It would be a dumb move to buy shares from such a company that until today proved they can not be trusted. This project has no future, not even when the engine update comes due to how the game generally feels, which screams outdated game ideas and mechanisms. I do hope to be wrong about everything said, but unfortunately it seems to be the truth and always be and our only hope to think at least about a revive, would be for a decent and motivated company to decide to buy this franchise. -
I've said this in a previous post and here it goes again. It is an insult towards all the people that still supporting and waiting for some good news about this title, Little Orbit promised to us that the "New Engine", would be their main target which is not the reality at least it seems like that. I am sure the main project here is "APB Realoaded" and might have be the main reason for Little Orbit to adquire this title as long "Fallen Earth", which makes no sense to have Mart dissapear for a whole year just to secretly work on "Fallen Earth", which without insulting anyone, it is not the main project and all the focus should be on a single project here and that project should be "APB Reloaded". I am speechless about how Mart handles things, he makes decisions as a Rookie would and at this point my doubts are all abou, should we trust Mart or even anyone that is working on this project? I do not think so, this is not the first time that Mart does such thing as you can check it here: This whole situation is starting to look like a loop and honestly, I think they are all making us look like a fool. Mart this is your time to be brave enough and make a whole topic about the reality related to APB Reloaded, at what point is the Engine Update and still 3.5 will not be enough to keep it up to date, is there any work on a recent engine beside that? Otherwise, it is a confirmation from Mart and others staffs, that there is no future for APB Reloaded and some of you should call a refund while you can.

doesn't make the same as it used to make for sure, but still makes some. I do not know the negotiation between G1 a LO to acquire the title itself, so profit will be a thing after covering all the expenses. Still, it does not change main subject here, which is the silence from Mart and lack of development.

There is no one forcing you to play it, you might want to do like most of us did which was to quit APB. They are milking it like Rockstar does with GTA Online, many promises and none of them are yet in game and there is always someone else to blame due to the bad results. The "new engine" update that have been talked about for seven years will not be enough to caught people's attention to try on this game, due to the fact the new engine is already an old engine, which does not help in any scenario. There is only one option which is to rebuild the whole game on a decent engine, but for that would be required a decent and focused team not only of developers, but also the people that are in charge of this project leading forward which now is going backwards.

My thoughts on 2023 roadmap
Krapler replied to Daarin's topic in Social District (General Discussion)
I had strokes while reading the new roadmap, I do not know who thought of such stuff to be added, but more important is who accepted them? There are some really useless ideas that makes no sense at all and implanting them, will make the game even worse than it was previously. I do hope they pay some attention to topics like this one before starting working on anything from that list. -
I'd understand that sometimes we need to take some time out to release frustration, but when leading a project like APB Realoaded, where almost no one believes this project has any future, you just can not leave everything behind and kinda forget about the community that is willing to keep supporting this project and the team. It is a massive insult for those who still playing this even with a low number of players and more in specific the ones that still spending money here. At this point you can come with all the apologies, will not be accepted at least by me until some serious work comes out and really shows to us where this project is currently

guys I found the solution to all our problems
Krapler replied to EerieEric's topic in General Discussion Archive
Looking how things are going related to this tittle, it might be put on sale once again. This project is not an easy one to work on, since it requires a lot of dedication, hard work and of course the most important thing, money. -
This is the worst topic I have ever seen.

What a disappointment this is, Matt.... We have been waiting for too long and looks like no one is capable to complete the engine update and at this point no one will be available to finish it. I think LO should consider on finding a new development team capable to finish the new engine or starts from zero with a decent team that can make it in a short time. We know how difficult is to rebuild a game and not everyone can do that, but if you think your team is not capable and at this point, we can clearly see it, recruit new members or re-establish a whole new dev team capable to finish it. After reading the roadmap, I also think it is a good idea to keep updating the current client until the "new engine" is done.

PLEASE, Bring the GOOD old APB back...
Krapler replied to xB00Mx's topic in General Discussion Archive
I'm sure you are not an active player or checking the news in terms of updates, you should give it a try. Why adding an older login screen, if they can do a better one compared to the previous? Think about what can be done to improve the game in general. -
What's your opinion on explosives in Asylum?
Krapler replied to SkrotN's topic in General Discussion Archive
at this point a suggestion to rework the OPGL would be better than a topic asking to remove it from a fight district. well.... you did Skeleton. -
What's your opinion on explosives in Asylum?
Krapler replied to SkrotN's topic in General Discussion Archive
There's no point of disabling certain weapons on a district which the focus is full PVP. It is just ridiculous asking to disable a weapon on a district like Asylum.- 78 replies

What legendaries should i rent to try and unlock?
Krapler replied to Turnt420's topic in General Discussion Archive
It really depends what category you're looking for. OCA is the best option when it becomes in terms of close range, now in AR category you have a few "beats", such like URSUS and others assault rifles. -
Honestly, it would be something interesting to see in game and how players react to it. Now they have to work on new events to make it possible, since the ones you mentioned are special events for special occasions. LO is working on new missions as they said before, unfortunately we are not going to see new missions until the release of the new engine
-
I don't think change the modifications itself will solve anything. at least this one specifically, LO needs to spend a bit more time exploring a way to balance every weapon category, so in this way things will work properly. Maybe increase de cooldown to avoid spam made by explosive guns.

I'm sure nothing will be done until the release of the new engine. There is no point of advertising the game right now, since the team is full focus on trying to release the engine, advertising the game now it will drag the attention on a negative way with the current state of the game. So the best to do right now is wait.
-
There's nothing that can be done right now, our unique chance will be when the new engine release and hope for a new matchmaking mechanism with it, as everyone know a simple update on engine is not enough to revive this game. My suggestion is to add level limit on each district, change the gameplay mecanhic would be fantastic, maybe removing this ridiculous jumps and make the things easier with a new smoother mechanic.

everyone is complaining about Ghost Shots, I have also noticed that. It seems an issue related to the servers itself, even yesterday the servers crashed two or three times. Let's hope to LO notice this and handle the issue, the game right now is unplayable.

APB: Reloaded - "Perscription" Second Fragmovie
Krapler replied to Yacuno's topic in Fan Sites & Communities & Promotions
Nowadays is easy to get a monitor that supports 144Hz and most part of the players want to get it, by lowering the graphics. Also this game gets even worst when you upgrade to the new generation of graphics cards or processors. I'm running this game right now on a RTX and I can't play it properly without frames drop. -
