I think the issue with the guns you've mentioned (carbine, Oscar, cr762, and Obir) is that for all of them adding IR is pretty much a straight upgrade, giving them the respective ranges of 42m, 42m, 62m, 62m without any real drawbacks. On top of that both the the cr762 and Obir are still quite useful well beyond their given ranges due to overdamage... Even before you add IR3. As far as comparing the range of rifles to SMGs, you have to take into account how accurate or inaccurate the weapons are. The range on the whisper is mitigated by it's relatively poor accuracy, when compared to rifles. Take the two long range rifles, both of which are accurate enough to consistently land shots at whatever distance you set their range cap to. The whisper begins to rely on RNG at just 19m.

What I wouldn't give for a forum subsection with the title: aPb pRoTeCtS cHeAtErS No offense Aqua, but I've been in district when your complaints are aired in /d, and I'm never able to find anyone cheating. It's possible you might not have the ability to spot cheaters.

GMs do not give information independently. All announcements come from Matt /Lixil /Selali and are made through official channels. Could you tell me what GM you spoke to, and why you think they would tell you something not known to others?

I guess you could always make CA3 the default regen or something.

Of course getting cop role is easy when you farm it in bronze districts. Do it in silver districts and you are either a useless teammate or easy opp.

As I understand it, GMs are almost always invisible when in game. This is likely to try and not be a disruption.

It's weird how much more toxic Jericho is for those of us who normally played in silver districts. I always just assumed that gold players would be the most toxic ... I could not have been more wrong. It's the silvers, the silvers are the most toxic.

As a gold on Jericho my experience these past two years has been this: not enough higher ranking golds in a district so I end up waiting as much as 30 minutes before matchmaking will give me a match. ...I still prefer that to the disaster we have now with no segregation. Luckily its only temporary.

Just as a heads-up, LO staff are listening to everyone with something to say. They read the forums, they play the game, and it matters to them what the player base says. Even when SPCT give opinions, that's all it is. Us giving input and LO then digests it along with both their first hand experience as well as the input from the wider community, and then they and they alone decide what to do. I guess what Im saying is please take some time to test stuff when possible, and continue to give input here on the forums. Nothing about APB is written in stone, it can all be adjusted over time and the more we help the faster it will go.
