  1. At this point I am going to assume the network code (written with C++) was poorly written and implemented on whatever beta version of Unreal APB is currently running. We are highly unlikely to see much improvement in regards to networking until the core is lifted to 3.5. Just my own theory, but doesn't hurt to speculate. We have lived with unstable MS and servers that seem to blow up more than Baghdad does for years on end. Waiting a little while longer is worth it due to the dividends the updated core will provide. The 6 days of premium was great, but if the servers continue to run poorly, I would recommend LO attempt more player friendly "gifts" or events for the whole community as compensation. That would offset a lot of the unease people may be harboring towards to company in regards to how the servers run.
  2. Good stuff, the HVR has been a plague in terms of weapon balance for far too long.
  3. why use a macro when you have a finger???
  4. A revamped fight club could be a very interesting and fresh take on the game. New game modes, areas of the map, and hopefully better server performance could easily be a better option than the current Baylan HVR spam and 20 FPSlyum.
  5. Totally forgot this shit show of a proposal existed, thanks for the laughs OP.
  6. Next person to troll my stream thread will be hearing from the dog pound's lawyers.
  7. NA streamer who loves pictures of cute dogs and the occasional kebab or burger.
  8. Hey Matt, I think you forgot to mention you were deleting the HVR from the game in one of the upcoming patches, surely it is a mistake, right?
  9. Max hip slider player upset there aren't more thongs in the game, more news at 11.
  10. If any of you SPCM 2.0 """GMs""" future or present are reading this thread, please spend more time in action districts and out of social as much as possible. People in social don't need your help, the people fighting dethreaters in bronze districts need your help more than anyone who can't press M and figure out where the kiosks are. If you really are a direct conduit between the community and Little Orbit, your first and foremost goal should be monitoring action districts to help alleviate the myriad of issues players new and old are facing. This will not only add credibility to your title, but you'd be directly assisting in APB's come back by combating what is arguably the biggest population killer the game faces, dethreating. Just some food for thought from a long time player.
  11. Car spawners placed inside Espacios and Pioneers just makes the game slow down and becomes much more of an annoyance than anything. Like remote det, the HVR, and 3 low yields, there are many things the former team added to the game that overall made gameplay much worse, not better.
  12. This game has a history of certain P2W weapons being added in over time. Trouble Maker? Had a near 8 month dominance before getting nerfed. ATAC? Still extremely good compared to it's previous state, literal console aim and spray weapon. Yukon? P2W, I mean c'mon. Last but not least, there is that new 60m Obir Secondary that literally every single person uses, nothing more over powered than a pistol that can out range an NTEC and is more accurate. Overall, I'd say the game isn't P2W, but there are certainly a few P2W weapons along with a history of P2W weapons being added in and nerfed over significant periods of time. This game has horrid weapon balance, and the previous owners clearly didn't even have a combined 10 hours district time between them so as a result we're stuck with a very, very unbalanced game with weapons that were added without any consideration of their overall impact.
  13. Seems like mitigation has been on more often than not as of late.
  14. If they decided to do away with threat segregation, it opens up the opportunity to add "ranked" games or even rated seasons, where premades can play against each other and rack up points, the teams with the highest amount at the end of the season could win prizes like G1C, Joker Tickets, or just in-game money. At the end of the season you could give a player a "rating" similar to many other modern games, Green -> Bronze -> Silver -> Gold, or any other format you wanted. So for the people who like the "accomplishment" of being gold will still be able to work towards a goal. Could be a dumb idea, but I think it would make things more interesting even if it is a blatant rip off of Overwatch or WoW Arena lol.
