Just that alone just points out how flawed the TOS are in areas like that. Like honestly, let's ban EVERY SINGLE PERSON WHO USES A COMMUNICATION APPLICATION. Like they expect us to use the built in VOIP? I've long since lost any friends who seriously play this husk of a game. So I'm in the green for this ridiculous possible ban as I don't even talk to anyone. Sad times when a game can ban you for being sociable or coordinated... for a game about teamwork.

So I know the TOS and how things work, overlays aren't bannable unless they give you an advantage of some sort. That being said, for game capture I would use NVidia shadow play and use it's overlay to record that way, now I haven't had a real high end GPU for high quality recording so this is new grounds for me. In short, does anyone know if BE or PB will flag me for shadowplay? It can't help me in any way shape or form with game play or advantage. So I can't see it breaking TOS in any way but they're automated systems and I'd rather not chance it if it's a possibility. Been wrongfully banned once, don't wanna have it happen again.

Jesus, a lot of people have been banned in the past from GMs who don't fully understand the TOS or general rules. Then when they're called out on it, they make the rules "bend" to their intended point. It's kinda crazy seeing this again. I really hope it was just a general misunderstanding and no action was taken.

I just bought the norseman pack and honestly, I think I goto it more than I do a PMG or OCA. I feel as if I can get the prefire in with the Hel the fight is basically over already. The Odin however, is a mix of everything and carries a minor version of the hel trait. Which, again, makes the acc better the longer you fire it. Except the Odin is by far a much more mobile platform but with less range than the hel in terms of usability. BUT IF YOU WANNA GO BUFFING IT GO RIGHT AHEAD.

I don't see the issue of cross server as long as it's FAST. I mean it better be either a flicker of a loading screen or just straight jumping in. A thought teased my mind, What if this cross server matchmaking used the NPC car spawn points? (parking garages scattered around the city) Like say if you're driving and you get pulled cross server, you spawn into the new server from the nearest parking garage if you're in a vehicle.

While I'd normally agree with you, the AMG 5.56 Euryale is a pretty meta gun... It is a loyalty rewards gun that requires 200 USD to be spent in Armas to unlock it account bound. But it's the Medusa minus the mod but instead TWO open mod slots. Allowing things like muzzle break and HS, or tagger which is what I use.

I recently bought the norseman weapon pack and I honestly... I don't regret my purchase. They're fun little bullet hoses, like I've been able to hose down tryhard carbine heroes with ease. 60 rounds? That's silly for an SMG. The Hel special (Bloom closes the longer you hold the trigger) just makes it a mobile laser beam given you can deal with the small recoil. And the pack exclusive weapon Odin is a good little mix of everything, Not too inaccurate, but you won't be hitting people at range like you would with the Hel. Even the tommy is good just because of it's massive ammo reserve alone. (And even better post tommy buff w tap fire) Onto my next previous purchase of the SBSR 'IRS' Honestly, again, no regret here. As a long time user of the HVR, I used the DMR AV PR2 and quite liked it. Wasn't for me when it comes to taking out players as the HVR can do it way easier. But I wanted a sniper that was different. I have the anubis but let's be honest, it's kinda trash. DMR overshadows it in almost every way. I have the oblivion. No further explanation needed. So in light of "unpopular things being removed from armas" I figured I'd pick up a pretty oddball sniper for collections sake and give it a chance. I love it. Mobility on it is better than any other sniper afaik. IR3, HS2 (hs3 is a pixel closed crosshair and hs2 spreads it out and allows some room for error.) And on top of everything it's FAST. Like not to mention I didn't know the sniper was actually automatic. I find I can outshoot most HVRs TTK with it. So another underrated gun IMO. TL;DR OP thinks non meta SBSR and Norseman weapons aren't really that bad. So, what non meta guns do you guys like? and why? Curious as always

This seems to be the general conclusion, coming from someone who has been banned and had it lifted while keeping said money and JTs. After all I didn't ask or argue. But my unban was before the unban wave so I think I'm excluded from that anyways. Speaking from experience and from what I've heard from others, it was handled case by case as long as it wasn't FF.

Well this is pretty self explanatory, which ACES platform do you like and why? Is one worth owning more than the other?

Only issue I see with that is that if meta changing speed is a few kms, nulander is topping out at like 75 kms and vegas is at 83... So if we go slamming it up by 20, you're gonna be ripping through the city at the speed of sound.

So I thought that since mods like steel plating reduce speed, why not have a mod that makes it so that it has a slightly higher top speed and better acceleration but takes more damage from weapons? Something like Weight Reduction 1-3 or the likes. Maybe even high torque mods? Just something so each car is more unique than the kit and colours it bears. Just minor differences, maybe nothing that is meta shaking or anything. Like not overkill on increase in top speed, maybe by 1.2 kms or so. (for reference the cisco has a top speed of 80 or so kmph, and the normal vegas has a top speed of 83 or so.) Just a thought, I'm sure someone has thought and talked about this before but I'm curious on how the community would feel if given the choice. And if you do think they could add something of the likes, what would you like to see as a vehicle mod?

"Deluded In Reality" Please

So I thought I'd put it out there that there are some bugs with ARMAs still. The DMR AV PR2 is unable to be upgraded from character bound to account with the discount. So there's that, and I know there have been like 3 other weapons that followed the same route when they had price changing. I figured I'd throw that out there and see if anyone else has seen any other weapons that have that same issue or not. Also with the sale starting, that'll be 50% off armas. Would that apply to the char to acc upgrades? Or because it's already so heavily discounted (something like 77% IIRC) will it not apply?

So far I've seen 3 issues that are pretty common. Rubber banding/Warping. Random D/Cs. Random PLs/High Ping. So, with those being common and most likely in correlation with either the BE update or DDoS attacks. I've noticed a few other things myself that have been either insanely frustrating or even game play breaking to a degree. With the frequent warping and rubber bands, loss of car control (Unresponsive steering), inability to switch shoulders consistently or lean timely and peak without warping into the open AND disconnects. I just can't find myself playing the one game I would happily spend all day doing. The lag is just too much. Even there are times that my game will randomly black screen for half a second and show some activity circle from a frame a few seconds prior. Like the bugs are getting out of hand, whether it's client side or server they need to be addressed and as soon as possible. It's worse than it's ever been. So from what I've covered above, has anyone else seen or had anything else unusual happen since the update? I'm curious if I'm the only one on that out of place frame bug I'm having or not, or if anyone else has had something similar happen.

I don't know if it would be that hard or easy. Unreal is a very modular and flexible engine but again, I'm not exactly sure how the back end process of installing what is essentially a plugin of sorts. This game is half about clothing and customization and showing off personality as much as it is about the combat and fighting. Being able to show views, angles, overlooked locations, scenic areas or even clothing designs/sets is a pretty important thing IMO. After all, someone took their time to create these environments and areas. Can't hurt that some people would love to take super nice screenshots in game.

I'm not saying it can't be done, but for those who want extreme high quality screen shots without having the devs take a massive chunk of their time to create a whole separate screenshot tool of their own. Ansel might be the quicker, easier way to go. Time is money afterall.
