For someone who likes to use the word weaboo a lot you certainly do not know it's meaning. You seem to be heavily mislead with the general connotation here. I would suggest looking up the definition of such words before you use them in wrong correlation which makes your rant look like clueless hurry.

Isn't Second Life a 3D Avatar based social network and by definition not a game, as it lacks any actual objectives? And good reasons for wanting topless characters are for full body tattoos, undergarment tattoos, and open chest clothes such as the blouse or hunting vest. Second Life is a furry heaven and lots of 40-50 year old smoking weirdos with hoarse voices, giant butts, and ridiculous body proportions. There are social places but there are also 'games' and role play stuff. But its laggy as hell and unoptimized just like apb. I'm sure you would prefer that over apb once you have your precious nude characters. :]
DarkRider400 3 Posted May 28, 2018 (edited) Ooooooor, get this, you could just watch intimate internet videos (censor, rip)/spend time with your SO like the rest of us do. You know, instead of being a weird creep on APB and making the game a disappointing cringe-fest for the rest of us. Seriously though. Seeing people with those hentai symbols is just so disappointing. Like how far down the rabbit hole do you have to go to have your hentai in APB? Can you seriously not just keep that on your weird internet sites? Is it REAAAAALLLY necessary to have that in APB? Kerelith 2 Posted May 28, 2018 LO made a post stating that the rules (for PC) wont' be changing so we will still be seeing "nude" symbols everywhere. I'm using quotations due to the fact that genitals are NOT allowed. (Which I agree with if you need to know). How would a On/Off feature for character "nudity" work with the symbols? I doubt everyone making symbols would be bothered to mark them as inappropriate so that the filter would include them. As much as I hate the idea of people being topless in game, it would at least look a lot better than the adhesive bra rubbish we have going on.

Weaboos 89 Posted May 28, 2018 (edited) No please, social district plagued with nudity simbols is bad enough no need for characters to be naked too. If you want nudity it still works client side so only you can see it. 13 hours ago, iPlumbum said: I would suggest to not tickle your ballsack over a game character, especially ones that are depicted as underage (weaboo) APB is already becoming too cringe with the amount of weaboo and furry trash in it. Delete884943468320878423 172 Posted May 28, 2018 (edited) In other words, they should simply make an option for enabling and disabling mature content... like in a few games i played before, where you as a user have a few choices about critical matters, and not only limited to being forced for none. This is a mature rated game, and there should be mature content in it, as it always was. Seen many companies getting adjusted with the many contradictions going on constantly, and in order to please all, you need to create options for every preference, seems quite simple, as i believe its a matter of visual tweakings, following the community collaboration. Second Life really sounds right up these people's streets - any nudity you make in that game will look a billion times better than what you'll get in APB, and you'll find a lot more people willing to "take advantage" of it. You horny dogs. Edited May 28, 2018 by Songbearer

You horny dogs. Second life has one of the most perverted communities out there, the game offers almost total freedom of perversion, as the only limit is pedophilia, but for the most cases, everything goes according to ones common sense... and most of its communities, are ppl over 40's which are more or less ppl that have been abused in their youth or ppl that were born or developed mental disorders. Thing is... that you get to chose your preferences, which is the most important thing about it, and regardless of its reputation, that game will never die, just for that. At this point, i would like to beg the question... when was the last time u saw a game more infested with women than men? :))) Edited May 28, 2018 by Vnight
MrM0dZ 55 Posted May 28, 2018 G1 already talked about this and LO will probably say the same thing, APB is a +18 game, it's for adults or mature people, you can make some boobies symbols and such, but no explicit sex.
Excalibur! 207 Posted May 29, 2018 (edited) Since one of my threads where i express my concerns was pruned -removed totally from this plane of existence (not even left in my profiles content, such violence)- i can't bump it, and i have left with some obvious questions i would like to realize just now that i have had some sleep. So, aknowledging this blogspot and the new "updated policy", will be any changes to our characters? Could we get back removable underwear for bodypainting freely? Looking this image as example See how ugly it looks with underwear. We are getting those volunteers gms running over the districts i am guessing for more than just being players magnets and interrupting the flow of the game, like spotting those people that will try to splash not allowed symbols between legs. I see why not doing it now. I think Matthew post got closed because people were too into swastikas and racism discussion, if you are going to trash this post to the infinite oblivion i would like to get at least a pm with the reason please. inb4justgetsomepr0n Edited May 29, 2018 by Ken2

Zascha 47 Posted June 9, 2018 For one, it's not censoring. It's a guide-rail to keep folks out of the gutter. When I was in college and I took Life Drawing classes with nude Models, we students learned real quick the difference between Art and Pornography. You immediately understand to respect the model and their body in such an environment, and you are utterly forced to find what is interesting about the human body outside of sexual motifs. I doubt very seriously even half of the APB community has matured with their expression, and I can tell very simply by what it is they create. It isn't art. It's pornography. And quite frankly, most of it is a tracing of some hentai character, which they didn't even create themselves. When I was a kid, I drew Ninja Turtles and Batman. Kids these days are drawing hentai characters. It's a shame, really... But whatever. The problem with peoples' "artistic expression" isn't that they can do it. The problem is we can't turn it off. No one wants to stifle anyone else's expression, regardless of how distasteful we think it is (and who cares if you don't like our opinion of it.) But it's not like we can walk around in Social or any other district and not see these things. The solution to this would be to allow for the creator to peg the work as "Adult 18+" or something compliant with that standard, and have it referenced to another user's In-Game Option for allowing or not allowing such content material to be rendered in-game. We have a Chat Filter for the same purposes. Some people don't want to read others' profanity. So they just turn the filter On, and problem solved. There needs to be something like that for Symbol and even Character Outfits. It's just a box you mark for each Symbol and each Outfit slot. If you check the box, the game automatically flags the content as "Adult 18+" When someone else, me for instance, who has their In-Game Option Filter turned on, what we see will be a blank white space for Symbols and a default character render for Outfits (similar to the one we see when we load up the game.) Problem solved.
