You need Stylus for this to work.

 

CTRL + F5 should force the theme to show the "Update style" button so you can make changes without reinstalling the theme.

I was using  "Care your Eyes" chrome extension before, this is much better.

Unfortunately there are a few quirks with the customizable version.
Widgets/Subforums sets the color for the post background and the pop-up of new replies, while the option for "Posts" seems to have no effect.
Hover/Reacts doesn't either, these seem to stay at a default dark grey.
I also found no option of changing secondary text color, the one used for quote text, user post count & joined date and post info in subforums .
Although, even as is, current theme works for me better than any other ever did. Edited by kukki
