What's your opinion on explosives in Asylum?

Remove explosions in Asylum

HELLO

 

Do you think explosives are just as annoying as me? I get it when people are using it in mission districts, but Asylum?

The map is just not made for it and i think it would be a way better experience for everyone involved if they were just disabled. I'd love to see what the public opinion of this is 🙂

People that vote no are just Silvers that can't use anything else but their OPGL :^)

There's no point of disabling certain weapons on a district which the focus is full PVP. It is just ridiculous asking to disable a weapon on a district like Asylum.

It is also ridiculous having extremely high damage output weapons in a third person games, and for the opgl it is incredibly ridiculous to have a heavy grenade launcher thats explosion radius is 7m inside such a confined district such as asylum.

at this point a suggestion to rework the OPGL would be better than a topic asking to remove it from a fight district.

I don't like people using PMGs and OCAs in Asylum. Let's disable that then too while we are at it?

 

Or shotgun corner peeking spawns.

You people do understand there would be less explosive weapons in Asylum if item hold would be removed, so why not just remove this instead

i dont play fight club so i dont care if it stays or not, fight club is for cheaters to test their bots and make sure they are working correctly so i avoid it like a plague

Very good post, I hope people with reasonable manners will see the flaws of the explosives being a massive problem in such narrow corridors and not only it is very annoying to play against it´s also very irritating to get killed by when the person is your own teammate!

Shotguns tend to be very quick to kill you, but you can also kill them easier, explosives however are just uneccesary

i dont think that it is a silver character mind you, i have my own reasoning for this.

Absolutely not.

Grenades, and more so the OPGL, are great tools for clearing out or softening up targets in hallways and rooms.

Shock & Awe baby..

Only the enemy should be allowed to use OPGL, i'd like to use a mod that disables my owm team from killing me more than they do.

Now, to follow up on this topic, concerning the removal of explosive weapons in Asylum.....

From my experience , which is a bit limited, the explosive weapons do add a moment of "unpredictability" .

 

Unpredictability can and in fact, and has caused problems for some players.

 

A bouncing grenade is not a trajectory that is easily tracked.

Where will it land ?

 

Do I need to run like hell for the door on the opposite side of the room ?

Will I be safe ?

 

Yes, explosive weapons do initiate a certain level of unpredictability .

This could be a problem for the opposing team.

 

As far as FPS.

My personnel thoughts might be to ;

- upgrade your graphics card

- add more RAM

- Swapping out the Mother Board is a huge step, will probably need to ;
       - New CPU

       - New GPU (graphics card)
       - New RAM

 

Until then...

RUN LIKE HELL 😁

 

Play safe

The grenades are infact pretty easy to track and predict on where they are going to land, even more so with some nice configs... Smile
It's just more in APB at this moment about how people rely too much on their grenades, no push will be done without tossing 2 nades at a corner first which is kinda boring tbh.... Though it's the only way to clear a corner camping JG pleb.

As far as FPS... 
Why in the hell would you need a new GPU if you're buying a new motherboard?! Any GPU will fit and even if you want a GPU upgrade, it won't have any use on APB as the game is for the biggest part only relying on your CPU..

My only issue is that they should buff flak jacket more in order to combat this issue or issues like these.
