RIOT starting players cap need to be lowered even further

Attempting playing RIOT in weekend is tiresome (in weekdays it's impossible). People wait for one hour for anyone to come and currently gamemode is visited by max. 5-6 at the time. This weekend even running game is impossible and we talk about Citadel.

I think players to start cap should be lowered to 4 players just like FC. Fuck any issues correlated to it, you just seriously overestimated how popular it gonna be LO.

And no. New levels don't help.

I really like it, is different.. but dang the population is.. horrible. On both servers is disgusting to see pretty same results.

I think they could lower the start cap again but i don't know why they have predicted something and then abandoned, i mean.. coming back to engine upgrade things related and postponing it.

At this point don't even add new levels, even this is a waste of time.

Ah and btw, 15 levels with the increase of the standing isn't helpful at all, seems a r195 contact with only 2 skins, players aren't motivated anymore to rush it at the end, just because LO is not interested in it anymore like before.

They should just convert it to solo only, the premade teams stomping PUGs aspect is what pushed a lot of people away in the first place.

No. Game always starts with 4 teams. It would be just 1 vs 1 vs 1 vs 1

I haven't even gotten to play a ROIT match yet. Could it be lack of rewards? that's all i have to go on at  this point because I haven't been able to try the gamemode.

does anyone have any gripes with the gameplay itself?

I don't see the point to riot mode outside of testing district spinup. The market is already over saturated with BR style games, we really didn't need another. PUBG struggles to properly match players and there's 100000s on per day, there's no way APB could with it's sub 1000 player count on Steam.

The begining is not the ending. (riot with 4 people would be pretty damn short)

 

 

Also remove that ludicrous "3 min countdown" i've lost 4 matches because we had 8 players then they left during the monumentaly long countdown timer.

People like FC though. 

People aren't playing RIOT because they don't want to.

If they would just add a visible indicator to the servers tab, perhaps people would be enticed to play it. I've popped in a few times and found zero people. Nobody wants to wait that long if no one is going to enter it.

I've not seen or heard of anyone actually trying to on Citadel and I personally have no real interest in the mode either.

Aye. And not only attempting, we do play. But only on weekends evenings... in normal weekdays it's usually dead whole day.

 

Still population will be dead sooner than later with cap of 8 players.

because added content for a wider range is helpful to some extent

some people like the idea of racing districts. kinda the same thing kinda not
