  1. Buy 1 slot RFP 9 and add IR3 yourself in the (probably far) future. Saves you 500 JT and more importantly G1C.

but how is EU going to keep the worst of the worst human beings from the rest of the APB playerbase then?
  3. The Thumper is the only shotgun not mentioned in @MattScott's blogpost, so I wonder too whether it will undergo changes or not. Right now the Thumper is pretty reliable, but also pretty easy to kill with in CQC. I think in the new weapon balance the Thumper will be too forgiving. For how long you expose yourself depends on refire rate and how likely your weapon's going to hit, too. Not just amount of shots to kill. Also, OCA is exactly more forgiving than the PMG, because it has a higher refire rate, meaning you can miss a few more bullets. If you miss a round with the PMG you're likely to get punished harder for it than when you do with an OCA, exactly because of that refire rate. I really don't want to do maths, but I'm quite sure 9/8 * .7 is closer to .7 than 6/5 * .7. OCA's firerate is only less forgiving in the scenario when you're killing multiple people in rapid succession, since you're wasting more bullets inbetween your enemy kills with an OCA, this also goes for clip size, and how many you can kill at once per clip (assuming you don't miss a shot). By now I feel like most people that want to really use (and protecc) their dear OCA for OCASYLUM should have already figured a way around the OCA's constraints when blitz killing.
  4. Sadly the only thing we can do yeah.
  5. I didn't really mean the generic deflection like phone calls or whatever urgent stuff that pulls you out of the game. You're probably right though that OP did it multiple times and got actioned, but that's still too inconsistent to be justified, because dethreaters do it daily on purpose just to lose gold threat. But yeah, deflecting it with "but everyone does it" doesn't really justify anything either. Basically the same with traffic tickets. I do want to say it's rather easy to determine if it's feeding or participating and doing bad though. Sure it's more activity than AFKing, but feeding is about as obvious as AFKing, hence why it can be reported in other shooters.
  6. G-guys, this is getting a bit out of hand.
  7. Again you miss the point by miles. It's not about whether dethreaters are part of APB or not. My point is that the sole nature of this ban is highly inconsistent with what's going on on a daily basis. Whether we can accept dethreaters as players or not doesn't really matter. I'm also not talking just about OP but about OP's situation compared to the larger picture, which again brings me to the conclusion that a ban like this is based on rules that are enforced too inconsistently to be justified in this case. You can't just ban someone leeching through a mission and then turn a blind eye on everyone doing this on a daily basis "just because it's part of the game". Anyone that would look at it with a sober mind would turn away from the game instantly, before even trying the game out. If you want more decent players to leave as a developer and further kill your game, this is exactly the way to do it.
  8. I like how half the thread can't look further than the length of their nose. It's literally not about leeching through a mission against people better than you. OP leeches through one mission (be honest OP if it's been way more than one mission), yet people do this on a daily basis just to lose gold threat (you know... so they can stomp on more people that are worse than them the next day) and are unharmed by anyone.
  9. At least it took them only a year instead of multiple.
  10. As much as I disagree with leeching through a mission, I feel like it's not justified to ban someone that doesn't want to play against dethreaters. Especially cause dethreaters themselves often don't play after 1 kill and instead feed the opposition. The nature of a ban like this, even if it's just a 1 day ban, is just too inconsistent to be justified. If you do that to OP, do it to everyone doing this everyday. Or just don't.
  11. sounds like OP stepped into EU's Asylum culture
  12. Maybe they determined that posts directly from the CEO are as clear and as transparent as they could be, since the CEO usually calls the shots on decisions. Since old G1 used to make a mess of their communication, APB's community is eager to hear something when it's about APB. Maybe it's just because he has a beard.
  13. That's not even an imperfection of the vehicle itself but of the physics this game runs on. That's the same as saying "the Especio is underpowered since it easily flips" because yeah when you take your vehicle to the absolute limits then sure every little imperfection is going to stain otherwise perfect results, hence every overly competitive crybaby in this game blaming their loss in everything except themselves. You fail to see the bigger picture my man. The Vegas is pretty much omnipotent, it's just heavily overshadowed by the SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket that is the Vegas 4x4.
  14. I guess you're just not comprehending what you're reading. On average level, the vegas (not even the 4x4 mind you) has so many margins that it's - if you want to be somewhat competetive - absolute folly to put your threshold below the vegas. The Pioneer and Espacio are more efficient in specific fields (such as item stages or if you really need to tank stuff), other than that you're basically good to go in any situation if you have a vegas. Preferably the 4x4 since that thing is just smart broken. The N-TEC 5 of cars, to a degree. Being so caught up in your own view yet you don't seem to have the ability to type it out on phone (even though your examples might not even be on point). Just another day.
  15. Even when you don't "do it right" the vegas packs plenty of margins (space to carry a heavy item/2 medium items, great acceleration and the ability to tank through major explosives) to make up for imperfections so in the big picture it doesn't really make a difference eitherway, unless you're talking top level plays, which is something a game shouldn't be balanced around solely.

  17. I'm amazed you dare to complain about people being unimaginative with APB Reloaded yet all you manage to shake out of your sleeves in your post is weapon tier colors, which is basically even less imaginative than RIOT is. No really, it's literally a half-assed copy paste from games like Fortnite. As long as you intertwine your creativity with APB's premise and lore the sky's basically the limit and even a BR would be fitting. The only thing that could stop you then is lack of approval by the majority of players (including potential players, not just the hand full of forum dwellers and socialpaths that's left of this game). Another thing is that content is not only weapons or reskins, car kits or whatever pre-LO G1 has released before they basically had to hand themselves over to Little Orbit. I'd much rather see something new in terms of gameplay. And then I don't mean racing districts.
  18. I'm glad in this entire year Little Orbit has done more than G1 ever did in the 2 years prior to Little Orbit taking over. I'm a bit late to reply to this thread, but the moment Little Orbit started it felt like they tried to do things differently, from approach to exectution. The events were all nice and refreshing after 3+ years the same events for Halloween and Christmas, and unlike G1. To me it looks like Little Orbit is actually doing their best. I agree they've been missing a lot of deadlines and support still hasn't caught up. But I think it's unfair to entirely blame Little Orbit. Unlike G1 they're trying. They're missing the goals they set for themselves, but I think it's a bit unfair to think their goals were set in stone. I also really hope the people complaining about support will never be part of a service desk. Especially for f2p games with a community as toxic as this one (at the same time I do wonder what LO's SLA looks like and if those goals are being met). They haven't been flawless, but you can't expect any company to be flawless when it comes to managing APB at this point. That would be irrational. I feel like Little Orbit deserves more credit than they're getting from some people.
  19. I feel like Glacier's opinion on RIOT is one of the few that makes sense, but at the same time I wonder how to please a playerbase that's so stuck with their feet in the ground on anything that's drastically different from what they're used to, when it comes to gamemodes and/or gameplay (not talking threat/matchmaking or weapon/mod balancing). Any change - even if it'd be allegdly on a fresh and new bandwagon that wouldn't be oversaturated - would receive immense amounts of backlash from the people commonly posting on the forums, because it'd not be what they're used to in their daily APB lives, while honestly APB's current state is at a point where garbage would be softly spoken, IMO. APB's gameplay needs a drastic change for it to become any form of interesting again for outsiders. I'm glad Little Orbit is trying despite all the backlash from the insiders. When I see threads and posts asking from small fixes that have been (albeit poorly) attempted over and over, it wouldn't make that much of an impact in the long run. Short-term a lot of people that currently play would be happy, but outsiders wouldn't be interested at all. I for sure wouldn't be. A lot of fixes I still do look forward to all seem to require Unreal 3.5.
  20. I'd much rather see APB have a popular BR mode with lots of players to play against than having to wait half an hour for missions with poor matchmaking and facing the same people over and over. I actually want a reason to come back and shoot the guns I used to like shooting. But let's be real here, after like 2-5 days the event districts end up deserted, and the same old people go back to the same old boring mission districts with half hour waiting for opposition, hackusations, dethreating and what not. Battle Royale will not be the saving grace for APB like it was for Fortnite, but it certainly would be a lot better for the game than everything that's currently plaguing the game right now. I find it hilarious that people are lobbying against it, as if they want to protect the very things that are detrimental for the game as it is. Any downvotes just further prove this post.
  21. What if he shaved? Or lost his hair (including beard) due to stress since acquiring APB?
  22. I read it earlier on in @BXNNXD's post. It only makes me wonder more why people are so avid on getting it back into the game. It's probably going to take months before it's setup properly and most likely results in more delays for UE3.5. It's not as easy as just tweak it properly 4Head Not by a long shot.
