  1. Why do people keep saying the N-HVR shoots .50 cal rounds? It uses 7.62mm.
  2. You make good points, but it's still undeniable that the NTEC overporforms a majority of the guns. I for one formed my opinion about the N-TEC (and other guns) by playing it for a long time, not because "waaah i get killed by it a lot it must be overpowered!" People like that shouldn't even talk about balancing at all, as they mostly don't even know the weapon they're talking about.
  3. A whooping range of 7.5 meters. With the current OCA you can easily outgun shotguns, especially if you're out of their tiny range.
  4. If anything, the OCA buff made shotguns less useful. At that point it was too easy to fight shotguns. I've barely seen any shotguns used outside of asylum since they buffed the OCA, as it was easily the better choice. Now with the JG and CSG nerfed into uselessness, it triumphs even more. Revert LO shotgun changes, revert G1 OCA changes, Pointman-Category problem solved.
  5. Pre-LO shotguns were perfectly fine and OCA had its place. It was a viable alternative to shotguns and it could outgun them without much effort.
  6. OCA has been buffed when the CSG and JG were in a perfect place and the OCA was mostly the thing to pick over those anyway, the buff was completely unnecessary and unasked for.
  7. You missed other problematic things such as the unnecessary OCA buff and the current state of the N-TEC and RFP-9. Though I agree with all your other points. And regarding the cooldown for remote detonator, make it 90 seconds so it fits the meteor mod. N-TEC is one of the few weapons that don't rely on RNG and that's one of the reasons why it's so popular. What I'd suggest instead would be slowing down the accuracy recovery time so you can't spam it as fast. Nothing wrong with its long range versatility, but it shouldn't be able to outgun obeyas or other long ranged guns. The CQC jump shooting does need an accuracy nerf. OCA just needs the G1 buff removed so it's at its previous state. We don't need to try other things to bring it back down in line. RFP-9 needs a drastic range decrease.
  8. I wonder why anyone would want a toggle-sprint option in a game like this. I think it's impeding. Guess it all comes down to preference.
  9. Honestly, I don't think so. It's kinda sad, actually. LO worked so long on this mode, even created an ARG for it, and it clearly won't succeed unless they completely rework it by moving away from battle royale / district wide missions, which would add a whole lot more of development time.
  10. That'd require you to manually pick them, because a lot of players in that field have abysmal ideas of game balancing.
  11. I don't think asking the top players in APB would be a good idea in this game at all to be honest. Game needs to become noob-friendlier so new players actually want to stay in the game.
  12. Couldn't make it in time for these tests. But the removal of car spawners is awesome. We haven't experienced player vehicles yet due to the bug in the last test, but only imagining people car gameplaying with a pioneer is already enough to really throw the balance out the window. Now for the removal of player loadouts...
  13. I found it to be one of the stronger guns in the game. It's on a level where it's perfectly balanced.
  14. So far I've been enjoying everything Little Orbit has done. Except the shotgun changes. Not much has happened to APB the past year (but still a LOT more than what G1 did) but I assume most of their workpower goes into the engine upgrade at this time. Though the engine upgrade really needs to happen asap. The playerbase is at an all-time low and keeps dropping. RIOT alone won't help much.

  19. Hehe It's Equalizer APO. Select 31-band and pull the 5k dot down to -80. Might need to play around a little until you find your own spot to fix.
  20. That is a fair point. I didn't think about the extremely loud high pitch ear no themes, because I've got a quiet tinnitus and software on my pc that nullifies such high frequencies to prevent further damage. ... probably the reason why I haven't deleted the instruments folder.
  21. Why would I delete one of the main customization things in APB? Just because a lot of people choose mainstream themes? You still meet a few people that are creative enough to use more creative themes, and you can hear you own one. Yeah no, I don't know why you always say that.

  24. Themes are a part of APBs customization and I like them. It adds a little something hearing your own theme when you MVP. Also, hearing random themes can be awesome. But sadly everyone these days is running nzev, prop or msvane themes, of which pretty much all are overused and/or bad.
  25. What, the HVR isn't viable anymore because it finally has to be played like it was intended to be played? It's still a 850 damage on one click gun. It's still insane and immensely helps your team. No, he obviously used the silenced HVR. Why do you call the HVR "Adeen"? And you're VERY outdated. Silencers don't slow down the chambering animation anymore. Haven't done so for years.
