Do I believe they should focus on only the engine upgrade? hmm tough one because they see what we do not. Do they struggle with the servers? yes and a lot of that problem happened from G1 like the cruddy hardware to the server move we were just forced to do fro that overpriced contract. but all you can do is one foot in front of the other and keep on walking forward. BTW hitchhiking is dangerous so I'm glad they didn't do that (its how console APB was forced on G1 who knows what could happen now then)

That's only an opinion of yours that it could speed up. Did you forget they had critical errors at first? The strain of extra people would not of benefited at all. you do not come off as knowing what you are talking about Edit : For the record I do not intend to come off as rude. SPCT are hand picked players who know APB better than most. The way you described would actually not be a good way to do it. Regular players notice the regular things and a vast majority wouldn't really help much because of it. sorry but I disagree with you on that.

they were forced to move servers. They did not get a choice. There is a thread by MattScott on this.

From what Little Orbit has said in the past , we are only testing RIOT and it is not meant to be released without the engine upgrade. In other words it was said they are supposed to both be released together by what was said by Little Orbit.

The engine upgrade was no in progress since May. Little Orbit barely bought out APB on may 5th. Then it took a month to transition everything over to Little Orbit as well as then updating the new forums. Also there was an attempt to gun balance which then had to be reverted. I believe after that was the beginning of the engine upgrade work which was around Halloween. How I feel too. RIOT testing is exactly that , testing. It is not meant to be released until the engine upgrade is completed. We don't need more bugs and if it was rushed out you guys would only use it as an excuse to be salty anyways *facepalm*

I do recall it being said early 2019 and that if they were lucky then before new years. I do not recall it ever being said before 2019. And SPCT is testing it so why not tell SPCT to hurry up and find all the unknown bugs ? oh yeah because that would be unreasonable right? yet this thread....

And the toxicity on this thread only shows why people don't listen to you guys. Not to mention no valid proof has been shown , only hackusations and slandering people. Great work guys really shows how you are better than the problems you are talking about.

Little Orbit is not refusing to deal with cheating , but they are refusing to ban without absolute proof. The in game moderation that you guys are calling for would only hurt APB more. We don't need another ban era of what G 1 did. I don't know about other servers but on Jericho I only seen 3 people I would say are suspicious this past week , and I haven't seen them since so far.

Ammo boxes blow up. Shields can slow progression through a door so your team mates have time to respawn and help defend. Radios can make it to where you cant hear ladders and doors so its easier to sneak in at times. So yes it adds to the game and dose in fact involve strategy.

But by adding a need to think on your feet , a need for more strategy , it does add depth , substance , to APB. If it were only those two choices then no. but riot is told to be coming with the engine upgrade so that we will have new content to hold us over while they work on balancing. gotta have something to do its been years for new content so in a business sense it is a good strategy to keep APB alive.

Nice of you to edit my post to not include the rest to make me sound completely different to what I said. Thanks. was my first post and was my second. And if you re read what others posted they did in fact not seem to notice for one reason or another how this thread is about how the op does not like the engine and RIOT being prioritized over the Things he mentioned. (which I also mentioned right away that I am not denying there are SOME things needing work) I caught onto this and how it is bad for APB to not deal with the engine upgrade almost completed which would help with being able to fix other things properly. I was not derailing at any time but instead seen this for what it really is by the op post and what it said. I just didn't start complaining and arguing over personal preferences which has no place in bug fixing. (like the n tec mentioned)

Regardless of everyone's opinions over what to nerf which seems based on what they do good with vs what they are bad with The title of this thread is "Please prioritise the live game over Riot" Which means every last one of you seem to of derailed the meaning of this thread. The new engine is needed for a proper queue system that wont make as many problems as it solves. While a queue system can possibly be done now , the strain it can cause would most likely make far more problems fro the current engine collapsing from it causing strain one a single district. The current engine is limiting us and rushing out new content now is a bad idea. Too many threads with too many reasons given why. Little Orbit is testing RIOT now with us and planning on that releasing with the engine upgrade at the same time which is the proper time to release it. Re-inventing the APB wheel is bad? Without the engine upgrade we can not have a better performance to fix the performance problems we have now. We could not update the graphics later or setup APB for phasing as it would help with matches or any number of other reasons. the game came first and people enjoyed it back then

problems with this statement 1. The majority of people complaining about the Engine Upgrade do not really know how the current one works and their posts shows this because the current engine is limited and can not fix APB's problems. The engine upgrade is a must have because of it. A vast amount of people who quit APB all these years quit because of no engine upgrade which would of helped better content and better graphics and performance etc. 2. I have noticed 3 suspicious players the past week but that does not mean they are cheaters. I was in silver as well as bronze and only noticed 3 suspicious people. I have also noticed you in particular are inaccurate over who is a cheater and although this may be insulting to you , it is not meant to be. I suspect your computer may not have been fast enough on fps from hat you have said in the past. 3. Focusing on cheating and balance would need the engine upgrade to begin with. The matchmaking we currently have is a problem and it will take the engine upgrade for Little Orbit's solution to that which has been acknowledged by the community already. Why so many of you are in a rush to do what has to come later is beyond me. It wont work at all the way you are saying because of current engine limitations causing this mess to begin with. Also keep in mind no anti cheat is 100% and we already have the best for todays market for APB. Not much more can be done at the moment because of limitations for various reasons. 4. New content will not keep people playing if the engine upgrade is not done to fix the core problems with APB. Doing it this way is completely pointless and is how g1 drove us to this point. there is a good reason why people are reacting the way they are. Because of your attitude of wanting to hurt Little Orbit is oozing out into your posts to where people taste that saltiness rather than the serving you are saying you were attempting to give to people. From what the community has said (assuming I am writing this accurately) ff bans is run by a person not associated with fair fight and is not accurate or trustworthy. Edit : I almost forgot to mention MattScott did post a while back that those who were given a 2nd chance with the unbans and did get caught with proper evidence were already banned. Keep in mind I am paraphrasing and that this statement may not be completely accurate to what the old posts by MattScott said. I would need help finding them again on the forums so that we have a true quote of that information. I just do not have enough time to hunt through the forums for them sorry.

Not denying that there are valid things in your post about stuff that needs to be fixed. However your post contradicts fixing anything the way you are saying this on your post. It's already been in many threads by Little Orbit as well as SPCT members that the engine upgrade is needed to properly fix a majority of APB's problems. You can not put the cart before the horse or it just can not go anywhere.

Do you have any proof what you say is accurate? Or is it only speculation of "its the unbanned" As for cheaters themselves - yes I noticed a few suspicious people the past few days who could be cheating.

In the past if someone was in a group they could do this. was there any unknown person in that match on your team?
