You can delete all the instrument files from your APB directory to completely disable them. I would advise against anything like that until they've clarified all their views on modifying game files and the like, though. An option in the menu would be ideal.

As stated in the Q&A and countless times on the forums by now, almost all cheat bans will be reversed sometime after BattlEye (the new anti-cheat) is implemented into the game.

Yeah, once the game is significantly more representable I'm sure they've got some plans to advertise the game and spread the word in general. Like Matt has said previously, there's a bit of a stigma around the APB name itself that will take some time, effort and hard work to reverse.

Correct, they did not. I'd assume it's not exactly top priority at the moment, but I agree it would be cool to see at some point in the future. It severely hindered their ability to produce some of the content we've been asking for.

I do sorta like this idea, although it'd be too hard to distinguish between actual false bans and people who did cheat, I don't think it'd be fair for legit players who put so many hours into their accounts.

Most definitely. It wouldn’t be feasible to do any kind of big scale promotion before BattlEye is implemented and fully functioning as intended, as well as the UE 3.5 upgrade being complete.

I wouldn’t worry too much. Let them get acquainted with the game and the tools/resources that are currently available to them in that department, and of course there are plenty of other priorities at the moment.

It's possible. It wouldn't be a VAC Ban, but rather a Game Ban. A lot of games do that. H1Z1, PUBG, etc.
