It is the same backend system, glicko1/2. The only changes were how the colours were displayed. Those colours are not actually used for the matchmaking, your hidden ELO/MMR is.

Didn't you hear about the physical ban hammer? They have a ban button in his office where he takes a physical ban hammer and hits it to ban the player. As the CEO, only he is allowed to wield it and any of the staff will get fired if they do so. It is in their contracts.

I play fine at 180-220ms. shrug I'm used to having to play almost every game with 200ms. Feels gud when you're the only western country in this timezone in the middle of nowhere.

That's the same threat system we have now. The backend is the same (though actually better upgraded now), the graphical front end is just changed and more hidden.

Yeah that was pretty normal back in 2012 with old matchmaking. High gold playing silver. Get matched against a team of zerg bronzies/silvers. I had my fair share of 1v6s. Is fun in the main rounds but you are destined to lose the last stage with how much they overwhelm you.

Well yeah. That's the point. GMs are meant to be 'hidden/invisible'.
