Well by my clock 8 hours has been up 2 hours ago, so can we expect a delay after delay and then another delay, because if that's the case just say it, so people can stop waiting for the servers to come online and do something alse in the mean time

I agree perma ban for griefing is a bit too harsh, but griefing is against the rules and we don't even know what he did. So how can you defend him? But yeah if i was making the rules it would look like this. You do something stupid like grief, you get a 3 day ban. You do it again, now it's a 1 week ban. You do it one more time, 15 day, then 1 month, after that perma ban. That way players would know that it's not ok to keep doing this, because eventualy it would be the end.

Yeah but he didn't say what he did! I have read a lot of threads from people who cried on the forums when they got banned and all of those threads got locked by GMs with a massage that they have to submit a ticket to support. Also just because you got an answer from Tiggs doesn't mean everybody did
-
Buddy griefing has always been against the rules and i don't think his was a minor bad decisions, he had to be griefing a lot and probably multiple times to get a perma ban. Also the forum was never a way to get in contact with staff and talk about a ban, that's just a big fat lie and you know it. He also said he doesn't care about getting banned so he isn't even trying to get attention from staff, only from people like you

Best perm primary weapon to buy with JT?
DeadPixels replied to EneSeto's topic in General Discussion Archive
Yeah i noticed it said assault rifles next to ISSR-a and sniper rifles next to ISSR-b , but again ISSR-a and ISSR-b look and sound identical so everything makes stuff so confusing. If only there was a video comparing these two weapons. Thank you for answering, appreciate it -

What about ISSR-a 'Artemis'? -
Best perm primary weapon to buy with JT?
DeadPixels replied to EneSeto's topic in General Discussion Archive
Mind if i ask are all the N-ISSR-B the same weapons, but just different skins? I don't know how accurate APB Database is, but there are 3 N-ISSR-B weapons there (Dog-Ear, Recon and Wisp), they all look very similar and have the exact same stats -
A new Threat needs to be added to solve dethreating.
DeadPixels replied to blockblack's topic in General Discussion Archive
Don't you think you are being selfish? This thread is not about fixing a problem, it's only about you. Adding a new threat has been proposed before, it was a bad idea then and it's still a bad idea now! -
RIOT starting players cap need to be lowered even further
DeadPixels replied to Mitne's topic in General Discussion Archive
So i guess spending time and resources on Riot was a very good idea -
What do you miss the most about earlier times within APB?
DeadPixels replied to Khakis's topic in General Discussion Archive
Of course the thing i miss the most is population Back then you didn't have to spam to join a district every time you wanted to play the game and you could choose between a lot of districts. You could also play APB 24/7, every day of the week. Meeting and making friends was super easy, veteran players actually helped new players and there weren't so many try harding players. Every mission you played against different opponents who had their own style, so you saw a variety of cars, weapons, mods... -
RIOT starting players cap need to be lowered even further

Is it possible to see how many players are playing Riot? -
I would say Oscar. Sure i agree everything what Defibrillator said, but Obeya is still easier to master than Oscar. When you are shooting Obeya you have to be still, Oscar takes everything on another level. You have to control the burst and aiming is a lot harder when you are moving around

new players play 2 mins and delete game
DeadPixels replied to UnwelcomeD's topic in General Discussion Archive
I am sure they play more than 2 minutes but yeah a lot of them leave pretty quickly. You know if veteran players could ease up a bit when they are matched against new players who are really bad at the game that would be great, but of course their egos are too big to do something like this and then you can see them pulverizing new players over and over again. Then people complain about population, i am sure you all also needed a long time to get to the level you are right now so why don't you give new players a chance to evolve too -
I have also been saying for years the priority should be fixing this problem because this is why we aren't getting any higher player base! A lot of people here complain only about dethreters, yes i agree they are the worst and i really hate them but they are not the only problem here. If golds would play on gold districts a lot of the players that are now playing in bronze would play in silver. When RIOT was revealed i knew right away this isn't going to bring any bigger player base and i was right. When you are already reading complains on the forums from veteran players how unfair is it playing solo vs 4 player teams how can you expect a new player will enjoy it. It's clear dethreters are not getting punished for what they are doing that's why they keep doing it over and over again . I wonder if anybody ever is banned for anything else than cheating. You can literally see players using custom shaders and streaming, griefing missions, team killing and kicking players...but hey if all this players would be banned the game would probably die by now so is this why they are allowed to do everything what they want?

June 2019 - Next Steps with RIOT
DeadPixels replied to MattScott's topic in General Discussion Archive
Sure the stats seem like players had interest in playing Riot, but you must understand a lot played it just because of the reward. I already heard some say the grind in Riot is over, i got my skin now i am never going to play Riot again. -
Just because my expectations for this game and this company is low, it doesn't mean i don't want it succeeded. You are making me look like i am some sort of bad person just because i wrote something you don't like and you can't see the fact that this game can't be saved because of multiple factors. Clearly the main problem is that their team is too small so the progress is too slow. The second big problem is new players can't have fun if they are being harassed all the time and have to play against skilled veteran players. You expect Riot to attract players, it maybe will but it's hardly believable they will stay when they get their patootie kicked every game. The main problem is the same as it is in the mission district. New players have to play against 4 man veteran teams. Even if you are a good player and play solo you have a high disadvantage over the players who group up and use teamwork. This game is not new player friendly that's why most new players who try this game leave and this is the main problem that should have high priority I am thankful for the people in this company, but i am not going to have high hopes like i did in the past. But you are clearly one of those people who defends a person or a company to the end just like some people praised Tiggs. I also defended the previous company for many years and in the end what did i get, nothing! End of discussion and i wish everybody to have a good day

Where did i type that i blame them for the situation this game is in? These are just my observations how thing progressed over the past 8 months No i didn't, but a lot player did i guess. Many veteran players got back into the game after LO bought it and then left a month or two later, looks like they thought some miracle is going to happen right away. Well the only thing i did expect to be here by now is the engine upgrade, considering how long we have been waiting for it, but oh well... Announcing something what is going to happen in the next few months or actually updating the game is two different things Please tell me more Again i never said they didn't do nothing, i just think their priority what comes first is not the best decision. I do know there was a big mess the previous company left them and they had to fix I am sure if you would ask the community if they wanted a BR mode, 2/3 of them would say no Maybe new contacts, a new FC map or even a racing district, but hey what do i know... So what if G1 wanted it? Just because the company wants some new mode, doesn't mean players want it to. Yes i know BR is really popular, but i don't see it fit APB and considering how many awesome free BR games exists, i don't know why would any new player prefer APB Riot over other games My conclusion is if LO is going to do the same mistakes G1 did and add stuff to the game that nobody wants and is also not going to attract new player base nothing will change. I do want the game to get back to its glory days and LO to succeed but i think it's too late for that, especially if everything is going to go so slow as it did to this day. Btw you should chill, it's only a game
-
I am not blaming LO for how things are, but i am disappointed that in all this time they did nothing to fix this situation Yes it was said after engine upgrade they going to start to fix things. But when will that be? There are no news or updates about it so i guess it can take years since we get it. In all this time players are going to leave and the population will decrease Of course players want new continent, i am sure the majority who still play APB are veterans. The really question here is who wanted RIOT?

I don't think they will be removing fight club, considering they are adding new stuff to the joker store
