  1. can't wait for LO / matt to suddenly say "no more shader crosshairs" because some people are whining and think it's "unfair" to use... some people really have a stick up their bum...
  2. can get you in trouble... la-di-da. I see why it's said in the rules... just in case there is any exploit being abused and all that stuff - it makes sense, but having a slightly modified (or just a dot) crosshair isn't harming anyone, and I'm certain admins would approve. it's a crosshair, not a macro, or outline shaders that let you see people through smoke or whatever, hell, advanced launcher is allowed and I'm pretty sure you can get rid of smoke in the game that way so you can easily see through nade explosions and all that fuzz. there's also the modified mission text that shows you the upcoming stages and what kind of last stage the mission will be, which has a higher impact on the game than a crosshair, but it's fine to use that aswell. it's all just little gimmicks that help you ever so slightly, they're still far away from any kind of unfair advantage taking / cheating. but yea, don't get me wrong, as I said it makes sense that they state tampering with game files can get you in trouble, it just really depends on what you're doing. and who knows, maybe LO will implement a permanent dot option as crosshair or let's us customize our crosshair ingame.
  3. most likely you'll be fine... it's just a fucking crosshair (or dot), not a wallhack or macro... maybe battleye could kick you out of the game at one point, but never ever will that cause a perma ban and even IF something this stupid would happen, we finally have a support that actually cares about people, so yea, you'll be fine. I'm using a shader dot myself (implemented into the APB shaders, so no overlay) and it's fine.. no kicks, and I don't see how anyone in their right mind would call you out for "using something unfair".

  6. m8, did you even check my very first post? I'll repeat: that one post does not show up on the admin tracker, even though Aphadon's stuff should show up on the admin tracker. I'm asking if there are any other posts I might miss out on... maybe this was not the only post that should be showing up on the admin tracker but does not.
  7. it's been really quiet the past days... also, I noticed this post (picture below) not showing up on the admin tracker... is it broken? I wonder if I missed out on something... sure, LO needs time and all, I'll give them time... just please don't give us the silent treatment like RP did... (red circles for peabrains LUL)
  8. it's about 1400 tickets, not 70k. the 70k are the total created (since LO took over), and this 70k number is very wrong, because the CS has been flooded with spam... check THIS POST, july 21 and july 29. it's explained in the july 29 post.
  9. this. shotguns were pretty much fine... every other gun also suffers from bad hitreg from time to time / to some degree. certain shotguns needed tweaking, like the DOW and shredder. revert the changes, give DOW 2 more shots in the magazine OR slightly more damage (still a 3 shot though). they can stick with the firerate increase on the shredder though... without the forgiving pellet system it won't be as insane as it is right now.
  10. I do not doubt that LO wants to bring APB up to a higher standard, but I think even if they manage to bring many good things to APB, it'll still struggle... APB has a damaged reputation, so many people already played it since it's free on steam and suffered from bad matchmaking and the overall noob-unfriendly mess this game is (like bad tutorials), so the majority won't be starting it up again (and won't even notice anything changed in APB, only if LO advertised it again). we'd probably need summit1g to stream APB (when it's in a good state) again and bring attention to it... if he enjoys it, his viewers are very likely to try it out (again). maybe he'd get some of his other streamer friends to play with him and create sort of a "chain reaction" like it happened to fortnite (just in a much smaller scale).

I'm totally fine with more obstacles around the map... the maps have very little detail and look plain... also, we need a lot more options for cover in certain areas (the whole park and "the mist" club island area in financial for example). I'm just concerned about the vibrant shaders... APB seems even more colourful on the engineupgrade and shadows look even darker.. it's oversaturated AF. we need less colourful, and more grim / urban combat artstyle shaders, and less blooming colours. I always liked the details (objects / props and textures, making the place feel like an urban warfare) and shaders in these CrimeCraft GangWars pictures. also, weather effects. wouldn't it be nice if it would rain once in a while? maybe even make cars slide a little bit more (nothing too hardcore though)... wishful thinking...

  13. they actually already said they'll take a look at pre-modded guns (too lazy to search for that now, but that was said shortly after the IR changes happened)... guess they still haven't finished with IR for now, so premodded weapons won't get a change yet since it's not final.
  14. too bad the misery (and ISSR-a) got affected by this aswell... they're a lot more range focused than all the other ARs, and less effective close up...
  15. that penalty was a thing for a few weeks (I think), it has been removed ages ago... also, I'd like to have the grind reduced a little... even with premium it's really bad... I think it takes like 500-1000h to get to max rank... especially with more contacts coming up in the future and even more leveling it's gonna be really annoying leveling up.

I wish they'd rework the whole daily system... dunno, it could use it's own menu (just a little window like the fightclub overview on F6) to keep track of everything and explain the whole system a little bit better... add more variety in rewards, and increase JT yield so we don't have to grind in fightclub for them.
  17. this. so annoying having to buy packs that are character bound for your main character while your other characters get left out because you refuse to pay double and triple the price for the same stuff just to have it on multiple characters... I mean the latest packs were made available account wide by reloaded produtctions, which is nice... but we need this for every existing pack (and item)
  18. CJ3 on OCA doesn't have a downside anymore... the accuracy stays the same. (usually it should decrease the longer you fire)
